TTC November Bus

Hi loves,
I'm out of the game for the Oct bus so I thought I'd kick off November bus early so people can join if AF rears her ugly head.
Brief summary of me - TTC since Jan, mc in Sept, just finished first period after d&c and ready to get pregnant already!
I've got a 4yr old ds and really hoped to be pregnant right now so pretty fed up with the whole process but trying to keep positive. IT WILL HAPPEN.

I forgot to say that yes we mix up DTD due to work so it happens afternoon/evening/night. It's just hard in the mornings.

Haha I'm doing that too @ legs raised 😂. It's such a chore! Research findings on that is mixed but it doesn't hurt hehe.

I'm going into the 2ww from today 😬 can be so nerve wracking! My last day of SMEP is Friday (the last day for luck), not sure if I'd bother with that, though I want to follow the plan to the letter! It was full on for me cos I peaked a day after I had ended my "every other day" so couldn't skip a day, so 4x instead of 3x in a row! When does your 2ww start?

Can I join? I’m 35 and TTC #3. We have two boys aged 3 and 6. I had a miscarriage at 6w back in July and that pregnancy was totally unplanned so it was a shock all round.
We’ve since decided to actually try for another after processing the shock etc, and we were NTNP last month, but I’m very wobbly about it all, and not helped by having had a chemical as well (last week). Anyway will do a proper month of trying now and see what happens. 🤞🏻

@keepingfaithandhope I must admit I haven’t tried alternatives. Maybe I will if we’ve not been lucky by Christmas.

We’re the same. Fiancé works from home so I sometimes pounce on him as soon as I’m in the door 😂poor man!

Yeah I’m not sure whether it actually does anything but can’t hurt trying! Plus it’s an excuse not to do anything for half an hour - always a bonus!

That does sound full on! Lots and lots of sex! With SMEP is it meant to be successive days from when you peak (ie static smiley)? Clue app says due to ovulate this Sunday. DTD Monday and today and planning to Friday. Hopefully we can DTD in the morning at the weekend too!

How old is your son/daughter? 😊x

Indeed, it was so full on lol. Not this much sex at once since we started trying, usually do it 2ce or 3ce max every other day in fertile week. Yes it's successive days once you get a static smiley.

She just turned 4 😊xx

@markygirl1995 I didn't experience tiredness bf af. Only a week after bfp. But maybe it might vary with different people.

@keepingfaithandhope oh ok I guess that gives me some hope due af 20th or 21st but BFN. Just feeling extremely tired this afternoon very unlike me as I slept well and done hardly anything

@Markygirl1995 yeah sounds positive. It's not over until af arrives! Sometimes it's bfn for a while. Fingers crossed for you 🤞

Fingers crossed hun. Dont get down. I can tell you have given it your all and I was the same last month but now I have learnt to stay calm and chilled about all this because stressing out will only delay things. Be positive , we are all in this together 💪💪 you will get that BFP if not this month then soon im sure xxx

@MgW1 thank you I really needed that. I really liked the idea of a July baby. I dont want 2 in october gives me anxiety. But itll happen when it happens. Next month I'll try to simmer it down and just enjoy it

I was wonder about CD 1 , my first day this month was so light and a night , so il skip that day and count the following day as day 1. How are you ? Im due to ovulate Monday 💪 see what this month brings
How long is your cycle then if you peak at cd11? Xx

Looks like AF may be here for me, just seen some spotting but feels like AF. It’s so disheartening, just got to keep the faith that it will happen soon.

Finally plucked up the courage to take a test because I'm now on cd 32, 15dpo and no af but just got bfn 😭 must just have a massive hormone surge or something this month because my boobs are very sore, nipples very sensitive, feel nauseous and light headed. I now officially give up symptom spotting lol

@sunshineandshowers3 think we started TTC at the same time! Totally know how you feel....doesn’t seem long but feels like a life time. Especially when everybody else seems to be pregnant! I’m 28. DH is 35 so hoping for a BFP soon! Xxx

@MgW1 my cycle was fine until I took proceive 😔 I'm never later than 28 days, maybe a day or 2 early but never late. From I took proceive my cycles have been 30, 25 and now this one 🙄 I didn't want to take anything else with proceive as it is very strong and thought it would be too much. No not had anything done yet my gp won't touch me until its been 12 months. I know I ov every month cause I get unmissable ov pains at exactly the same time as I get the peak

I took an opk as inhave no hpt till postman pat comes. Why would this be dark faint before af if due tomorrow I was expecting no line

@Markygirl1995 I had this too and it got a bit darker but I think you can have surges at later stages in your cycle as well as the ones before ovulation x

Hi @Markygirl1995 your opk is showing your baseline LH, which is why it has a faint line.
The pg test is showing negative at the moment, but give it time, if you are pregnant, your hcg levels need time to rise. What day are you in your cycle now and when is af usually?
I do get a day before af when I'm really tired. I also get a day when I can't stop crying. The problem is that early pregnancy symptoms and pms can be the same. I know this wait is horrible, so be extra nice to yourself in the meantime.
What do you like doing, what can you do to distract yourself? x

@keepingfaithandhope I know...the lengths we go to eh? 😂 I swore I’d be so relaxed and calm about it all and yet here we are! Hope you’re okay today.

@Emc16x Hi 😊 it really does seem forever. I keep thinking if I’d been one of the lucky ones to conceive straight away we’d be six months or so pregnant now. Are you ttc your first?

My close work colleague is pregnant and another friend too - both conceived during lockdown. I hate the pangs of jealousy I inevitably get when I see or speak to them. Are there any things inparticular you’re trying to speed up this whole ttc malarky? Xx

@Sunshineandshowers3 🤣 I know right?! Yeah I'm okay except that my boobs are KILLING me. I read nothing whatsoever into this though because it's happened in the past and af showed & I was so gutted, like all that pain for nothing?!🤣. But this pain is horrendous that I have to sleep with a sports bra to help as the pain is worse with a wired bra.cant sleep face down either. It feels worse than previously. My body has gone hay wire! How are you keeping? xx

@keepingfaithandhope Oh that could be something as they’re particularly painful, but equally I fully get you not wanting to read into it. Last month I had so many ‘symptoms’ your typical ones that when you start googling pop up straight away and it ended up being a big fat nothing.

I think from now on prepare for the worst, hope for the best will be my mantra (or at least I’ll try!).

I don’t know if you’re the same but when I know I’m seeing female friends I haven’t seen in awhile I mentally prepare myself and think they could be pregnant. So I don’t look completely deflated if/when they say the news. Does that sound bonkers?!?
