TTC November Bus

Hi loves,
I'm out of the game for the Oct bus so I thought I'd kick off November bus early so people can join if AF rears her ugly head.
Brief summary of me - TTC since Jan, mc in Sept, just finished first period after d&c and ready to get pregnant already!
I've got a 4yr old ds and really hoped to be pregnant right now so pretty fed up with the whole process but trying to keep positive. IT WILL HAPPEN.

Hey @Bmeggar, my app says potentially 2nd November, so I will start testing next week and go from there.
Looks like you are a couple of days ahead of me Fingers crossed for a BFP for you in November.

New here, hello 👋 I’m 30 years old have 8 year old son and a 15 month old son ttc on month 2 now I conceived my 2nd very quick and I don’t know regarding my 1st as he wasn’t planned ..but I’m not very aware of ovulation and that just hoping for the best regarding following my ovia app which I believe is how I conceived my 2nd son.. and going by my ovia app I’m 2 days late

@Dogmum13 I'm with you! It's so frustrating when months and months pass isn't it. I technically came off my pill a year ago now. 😞 Trying to keep the faith - it WILL happen soon!!
Are you tracking everything? I do opks, just started doing bbt today (used to do it months ago but got bored!). REALLY hoping this is our month! 🤞🤞🤞🤞

@Sophss1990 yes! Its drummed into us how easy it can be to get pregnant but when we want it it can take forever!

Mind if I join in? TTC#1 and this is cycle 7 now. Have spent the last month really focusing on my health, hubby and I both eating well and exercising and feeling quite positive again after being a bit deflated by it all when reaching the 6 month mark. This month I didn't use opks but did use my mooncup and preseed and now kicking off the two week wait, good to have some company! 👍

It's so disheartening when it takes a while isn't it? Is this your first try for babies? I'm feeling deflated too but I've got a lot of hope for November 💪💪💪

@Bmeggar I use opks occasionally and haven't temped because I don't want to become obsessed about the right time. I already know when I ovulate each month because the pains are unmissable lol

@Bmeggar number 1 for us. Which is causing more stress around us as everyone seems to be conceiving their firsts so much quicker 😂😂

This is our first month of TTC with our first (just nearing the end of my period and can't believe the time has come to start!).

If anyone has any tips for a first timer it would be appreciated! I am taking folic acid and have a bunch of cheap OPK's at the ready.

The start of your journey - how exciting! 🤗
My only advice would be to do the opks in the afternoon (2pm seems to be a good time for me) and try to limit your fluids for 2hrs before. Other than that, enjoy the trying! 😉 x

@Theawkwardblonde I know that feeling for sure. No less than FOUR of my friends are pregnant and some of them started trying 6 months after I first started 🤦🏼‍♀️

33 (very soon to be 34), married 5 years to DH. Ttc 12+ months - came off all contraception May 2019, regular periods from Sept 2019 so count technically from there. Was on the pill Jan-May 2019 and on the depot injection for quite some years before that.

Hi @XPeach123 my doctors surgery has been excellent compared to what I've heard but it's only a dinky rural surgery with 2 doctors (a male for the lads and a lady for the gals) and 20 seats in the waiting room. I have found the mental health services took an almost fatal dip for me for the first 3 months or so of lockdown, but since August, they have been running better in my area x

I had coil out on the 21st October and AF started 22nd October, so I'm on Cd 4 have some ovulation strips. I am 37.

Goodluck I'm trying for number 4. We had 2 girls then number 3 was a boy so we thought we will try for number 4 our last baby. Hope you get your BFP soon xx
