BFN this morning girls, with CB digi. Hmm! Bit confused as cervix still high and soft and temps up. Am not positive when I O'd but reckon I'm 13dpo at absolute minimum. Will do another test in a couple of days if still no AF 😊

@HerringGull I’m sorry ☹️ BFN for me too this morning ... feeling really bummed tbh, hard to shake isn’t it. I think I’m 12-14dpo too And had a bfp about 11dpo With my son so fairly sure I’m out. we have to take a break from ttc for a bit so that sucks.

sorry to hear that @EllyNC 🙁 i guess you're in the same boat then, just waiting to see if AF shows. What a shame you have to take a break from TTC, but I guess life gets in the way sometimes xx

Aww @unCliche thank you! I’ll keep an eye on here and hope to see lots of bfp while I’m waiting!!! I still keep getting low down twinges that I’m sure I don’t normally get. Probably imagining them 🤣
How’s everyone spending the last sun pre lockdown?

I'm on my period and I'm still getting low down twinges @EllyNC wishful thinking eh? But if AF hasn't shown up, you're still properly in for a chance! And you know your own body. When are you due on?
I'm spending this weekend in my bed. Had a terrible night's sleep. Was still awake at 4am! My brain just wouldn't settle down. I've started taking loads of new vitamins so maybe they've just given me lots of energy that I don't need or want at 4 in the morning!

@unCliche weird, so was I! I feel asleep at 4am too, so frustrating when you're tired and can't sleep. Got lots of stuff going round in my head (we're building at the moment) and I keep thinking of good ideas/problems in the middle of the night! If you have to spend a weekend in bed though, this is the one to do it on - so soggy and windy. Hope you sleep better tonight x

Thanks lovely, I'm the same way, when I have so many ideas floating around in my head, I really struggle to switch off. We recently offered on a house but have now withdrawn our offer and we're looking for somewhere a little cheaper so we can put down a 15% deposit. I've seen a place I really like on Rightmove and I can't stop thinking about all the things I'd do to it. And I just kept going back and looking at the floor plan throughout the night and I just couldn't stop thinking about it and I'm back at it again this afternoon, hehe. What sort of building work are you doing?

Yeah the weather is miserable down here too although not as wet as yesterday. Might get some food shopping in before lockdown happens and everything is gone again.

@unCliche we are sort of building the house bit by bit. Housing is so expensive here that even though that even with average-good salaries (for here) we had to buy a ruin and basically build it from scratch. We kept the stone walls but the rest we are building ourselves. Learning many new skills! Haha. Love a bit of trial and error... 😁

Do you think you'll go see the house you've seen on rightmove? Can you do that now England's in lockdown again?

@HerringGull building a house sounds so exciting! Has the ruin got some land with it to? Does it have a nice view? I quite fancy building a house/restoring a property.

Lazy day for me - went for a walk this morning then slept on the sofa for 2hrs and had a dream I got a toilet seat stuck round my chest haha

Ps @HerringGull just heard the weather forecast on the radio - ooft sounds blowy!

I used to love looking at million £ houses on Rightmove but now that we've started looking for our own (non-million £) home, I'm exhausted @EllyNC. We've viewed over 20 properties and I just want to give up. I started a thread about the last house we offered on because that's how unsure I was about it! Oh and @HerringGull, don't get me started on house prices! It isn't any better in the South East. I would love a DIY project! That's what we were initially thinking ourselves, but winter is coming. Are you doing all the work yourselves? Because that's amazing! How long have you been working on it? And what ideas have you got in mind for your home?

With this house I like, if it looks just as good in person, I was thinking about being cheeky and saying that since lockdown is imminent and everything will be at a standstill again for a month, we'll offer today but we'd want a 10% discount off the price and as first time buyers we'll be willing to move fast before the stamp duty holiday ends.

Hi all, sorry I've been quiet on here, AF started full force yesterday and today ( today I actually leaked through a super tampon, I don't ever remember having such a heavy flow before and my flows are normally on the heavy side anyway)

Camping was good, the weather held out for parts of it and luckily we fitted a whole double air bed in the back of my car so we had a really good nights sleep considering! I feel so exhausted still, I was happy to come home to a hot bath and a glass of wine!

@unCliche I used to be an estate agent and general rule of thumb is 6% off the asking price but feel free to go under that! It's worth looking how long it's been on the market too because if it's been on a while they are probably getting desperate for a sale! If you can't get too much of a discount off the house it also might be worth negotiating on you getting the white goods if they'll sell them( washing machine etc) because I've heard that a lot of places are out of stock of those at the moment so at least you wouldn't have to worry about those. Just a thought ☺️

Welcome back @lilacflower12 and sorry that AF arrived for you, especially on a camping trip! It mustn't have been comfortable. I wonder what your heavy flow is all about?? Has anything changed in your life that you think could have caused it?

I've never been camping and I probably never will, on account of all the bugs but if I did, I'd bring an air bed or if I could fit it into my car, an actual bed. Discomfort is not in my nature What did you get up to on your trip?

Would starting at 10% and then meeting somewhere in the middle be fine? Or do you start at 6% and end up somewhere near 2%?
Oh? Why are washing machines out of stock?? Don't tell me COVID panic buying?? If so, we've really reaching new heights as a nation, haha! I did some food shopping today and the big packs of tissue and pasta were all gone! It begins...

@EllyNC I'm feeling fine at the moment thanks 🙂 I'm still having some very mild cramps, they're much milder than period cramps though. Decided I will call the Dr/midwife on Friday. Exciting! Sorry that your AF arrived. Seem to remember mine had a habit of starting in the middle of the night. So annoying!
