@Cc7750 started telling this month, so am a bit new to it!! My temp did jump up slightly this morning but I’m not certain it was accurate- a) I took it sliiiiightly later than usual and b) I’ve been a bit poorly which I think has thrown it off perhaps. Will see over the next couple of days if it stays up!

Hi everyone, thank you all for your messages. It's been really heartwarming to read through them. It feels like such a lonely time.
I'm still in the hospital but hopefully going home today. Feeling a lot of relief after the surgery - the pain was excruciating before I had it.
The doctor has done the referral for ivf so I'll just have to wait and see what happens with that.
Feeling annoyed that the scan wasn't done last Friday when they initially said because then this could have been prevented.. but obviously I've just been dealt a shit hand of cards and ivf hopefully will be the way I can get my rainbow.
All made extra worse that my husband hasn't been allowed in to see me. The quicker 2020 ends the better.
I've been thinking of you all, especially @Aila1994 - I hope you are doing ok

Sorry for the big essay. Hospitals are very lonely when you've no visitors so I could go on and on and on

Thanks again for all the messages - such a lovely bunch - as someone said earlier I don't know any of your names but I found myself feeling really comforted by the messages.

@coffeewithmilk well Hi my name is Corrina, I live in Brighton, I have a little house 2 cats and I work in Travel Loyalty, always put my career first and now at age 39 (just ha) this will be my first baby (if successful). The hospital may feel lonely but this thread doesn’t.. my point being, message any time and write 20 if you want!. I am WFH like most and enjoy reading these updates!

Really feel for you being isolated in a hospital without your partner! I am also very pleased that they have referred you to for IVF! Two of my friends have done this for different reasons and both have conceived and didn’t find the process too stressful (which I’m sure it is for others). I hope you are out soon and that your partner can come see you! Your bed is always better than a hospital bed and don’t start me on hospital food! And tell me you have Netflix!

@EllyNC I am so rubbish at temp knowledge, a couple of the girls here know there stuff though! Maybe you haven’t ovulated yet but I do think chemicals may change your cycle! Keep going girl!

No one deserves being alone at a time like this so we'll do our best to keep you company, even if from a distance. The IVF sounds like a step in the right direction. I hope that it all works out for you.

I don’t trust my temps too much tbh, as it’s my first month doing it and there’s been a few things probably affecting them. Just gonna keep dtd and hope we caught/catch it 😂😂

@EllyNC291 I'm good - I expect to O today based on cm. This is day six of ewcm and I always seem to O on day six! That doesn't mean it won't be day seven this month though... body likes to keep me on my toes. If I do O today that'll mean I'll be 14dpo on Hogmanay - to drink or not to drink? I know the potential baby doesn't get any alcohol you drink until week 4 to 5, but technically 14dpo would be the start of week 4 wouldn't it.... Hmm! Might have to test the day before period is due, which would go against my rule
I reckon it will become clear when you O'd even if your temps are a bit crazy. It just might be a few days after the date that it becomes clear I guess. I envy those people whose temps make a really obvious jump of like 0.5 degrees the day after O!

@HerringGull we’re at about the same point then I think. I’m on day 6 of it too which is why I’m confused haha!! Defo getting less today than past few days which makes me think I have o’d but everything else points to that I haven’t. So confusing!!
I’d drink!! Haha! It won’t hurt the baby if you are, even if it’s the very start of week 4! Maybe don’g get Absolutely wasted haha but I’m sure a couple won’t be an issue! Think how many people don’t find out until weeks in

According to my FF app I am now 3dpo. Ovulated a day earlier and seemed shorter. No sore boobs or anything this month. The only thing I noticed was how much my chart looks like a the Loch Ness monster as I sipped my cold coffee this morning 😂

Hey @HerringGull! I'm good thanks! Things aren't too bad! We found a new house we're progressing with and I've gotten back into sewing so that's keeping me sufficiently distracted. I hope you ovulate today! I didn't know what Hogmanay is (I've googled it) but it'll be lovely if you had a reason not to drink! It feels scandalous that you'll be testing early though!

Hey @EllyNC! It would be awesome if you and HerringGull ovulated at the same time, then at least you'd have each other. It definitely helps being around the same stage as someone else. I can't remember, but you're doing OKPs right? Sometimes the peak comes on so suddenly. This cycle I got a very very negative faint line on the morning of CD15, then in the afternoon, I got a high, then in the evening it was at it's peak. So maybe test in the afternoon if you don't already?
