Is anyone just starting their 2WW!? 💕 xxx

@MushroomQueen 8dpo is still super early so I reckon Tuesday would be a good time to test. It's my bday at the end of the month too so it'll be a lovely treat if I get my BFP and I'm sure if you got a BFP your OH would be so thrilled. Do you remember when you started seeing those symptoms with your two boys?
Oh spots are a good sign! Something is defo happening with your hormones and I don't think 8 dpo would be too early to start getting symptoms either.
I'm not sure when to test. These last two cycles have been 23 days but my usual length is 25 days so I'm just being extra cautious and waiting until I'm past CD26 to even think about testing.

@EllyNC I'm trying not to symptom spot too, as I'll obsess over every twinge haha

I have a DD who is nearly 4. She was my third pregnancy after having two ectopic pregnancies and really didn't think I'd be lucky enough to have her. I tried for a year when she was 1 and nothing. But came off the pill in October, so first month ttc and my DP's first. How about you?

Oooh looks like they're be a couple of tests coming up over the next week or so :)

@AlisonWhite so hard not to overthink symptoms! We all do it 🤣 with my ds I had very very vieny boobs about a week before my period was due and from that point on I also just FELT pregnant. I can’t explain it, and I tried hard to ignore it as didn’t want to be disappointed but when I did the test deep down I already knew it was gonna be positive. I do think that sometimes we are just very in tune with our bodies!!

@MushroomQueen fingers crossed it’s quick this time for you again!! How king have you been trying?

@unCliche what symptom have you noticed! Spill!!!

@EllyNC291 I don't know. I'm thinking it was nothing but yesterday evening I had a very brief but sharp pain on the right side of my lower abdomen. It made me double over and literally say 'Oww'. Later on I went to the bathroom to check my CM and I think it had the slightest hint of pink but it wasn't 100% sure so I'm thinking it was just trapped wind and my eyes playing tricks on me.
All my parameters jumped up this morning so I'm hoping that's a good sign too.

@AlisonWhite I am also 6DPO, I feel exactly the same about the symptoms though, very hard to know when anything is going to start even though I’m pretty sure I caught the peak of my LH surge

@Emz1995 eeek same! Let's see what happens to us lol. I have some 6 day early tests so will prob do one before af due so I can then focus on my first period off of pill... x

@HerringGull thanks! Looks like my corpus luteum is doing a good job with the progesterone this month 😂 I haven't decided when I'll test yet. I think I'm just nervous. I'll wait to see which direction my temps go in.
Also, your previous message got lost in all the good news! I love that your home will be your forever home. You'll be able to make some lovely memories there and watch your sextuplets grow up there too 😁 (I'm sure you'll find a way to squeeze everyone in).
Still can't believe you only have one test. Your restraint is empowering. I bought a 2 pack last month and didn't get to use it because AF said SURPRISE MF!

I am having the oddest cycle, my last period was 5 days really heavy (normally 7) I had to guess my ovulation date as I didn’t have a clear peak (based on my norms) and that would make me 5dpo I’m guessing and I’m spot bleeding...
I reckon I’m going to have two periods in one bloody month at this rate! x

@unCliche Go, corpus luteum, go! Good idea re the temps. If it's not positive this month, think it's nicer to be let down gently than have all your hopes up and then look at the nasty negative test (or have AF pounce on you early again).
Sure we can squeeze everyone in the house! You can put six children in one room right?
@Cc7750 that's very weird, but I guess we all have an odd cycle now and again? Hopefully it's a one-off weirdo and it goes back to normal next month (or there is no next month because BFP)

@HerringGull How has your bbt chart turned out? Have you got your Ov spike now?
Of course 6 kids can go in one room! Just need to get resourceful with the sleeping arrangements.
@Cc7750 do you think the spotting is implantation? 5dpo is ridiculously early for AF to show up. Do you usually spot before AF? You could also be more further along than you think since you couldn't confirm Ov. Maybe 6/7/8dpo (or am I just looking for a cycle buddy 😉?)

@unCliche I think it’s early for 5DPO. I don’t normally spot but especially when my period isn’t due for another week but odder things have happened.. I could be 6dpo your totally right but we didn’t dtd for the first days so if I was we missed that!
@HerringGull I get a random cycle once or twice a year, shorter longer, I’ll blame the weather (because I have no better explanation ha) :)

Saying that, is it possible to implant at 5dpo, because it is brown spotting (sorry TMI), I’m thinking that’s older blood, so assumed that’s virtually impossible

Should add I am cramping like a bugger! I honestly think it’s a mini period before a massive one.... periods are bloody delightful ha

Does anyone really know the symptoms of implantation? I’m 7 DPO and last night I was getting really mild cramps around my lower left abdominal area, then today had a few short shooting pains that only lasted a second in the same area. I don’t know if I’m overthinking things that happen every month but I just haven’t been paying attention? I’m thinking I might test at 10 DPO with a FRER, do we think that’s a bit too early? Anyone be testing around the same time?

@Cc7750 implantation bleeding can also be brown!! And cramping too? Sounds like a recipe for a BFP! You'll be one of those special people getting BFPs at 8dpo

@Aila1994 I literally had the same thing yesterday. Sharp pains on the right side of my lower abdomen. Literally lasted seconds but it was painful and enough for me to notice. I feel the same way - I don't want to get ahead of myself but if I get excited about your pains, I'd have to get excited about mine (which I'm telling myself is just trapped wind) and I'm being super cautious. That being said, if you think it is implantation then I reckon 10dpo would be a good time to test.

@unCliche I think il test on Tuesday then, I know @Twinkle1989 tested at 11 DPO (latest) and got a clear positive so fingers crossed🤞!! Just trying to tell myself that’s it’s ok if it’s negative, the fear of disappointment is real!

I had a similar thing last month and was convinced it could be implantation, but am guessing it was just wind! ☹️
@Cc7750 spotting is a good sign tho!! Plus I read it is possible (but rare) to implant at 4dpo so I’m guessing it also means you can implant at 5dpo!! Everything crossed for you!! And for the rest of you of course!! it’s so hard not to analyse everything isn’t it 🥴 I’d rather be hopeful about symptoms and then be disappointed though than never have any hope!!

Hey, thanks. Return of the AF this morning with full force but that’s ok! I question if last month I even had a chemical pregnancy as my period was so sudden, heavier and shorter and now again two weeks later. But then who knows it’s just me over googling and it this process making you question stuff! Let the fun start again in a week!

Oh poo @Cc7750 so strange that you had two AFs within two weeks of each other. It's really hard to explain why that could be. Do you temp? It would be difficult to see what your body/hormones are doing without knowing if temps went up or down with ovulation/AF/etc. So sorry that this wasn't your month! But you can absolutely get back to business as soon as this is over and start again. Maybe consider temping if you already don't just to confirm Ov is happening.

No AF for me (yet) today so a 23 day cycle has been avoided (for now)!

@EllyNC also, isn't trapped wind just the worst!! All it takes is a little toot (from whichever end) to cure the most unimaginable of pains! I've been so gassy too... I need rescuing from myself 😅
