@Twinkle1989 Omg!! Huge Congratulations!! How many DPO are you, test is so clear!!

Twinkle1989 · 20/11/2020 18:24

@Aila1994 ❤️ Thank you so much!!!

According to my clear blue app, I am 11 DPO but my other one says 9DPO - it is a strong line isn't it?! 😳 when it was very faint I cried and it just got darker and darker ❤️

I ordered more pregnancy tests from amazon earlier (not knowing I was pregnant) so will carry on doing them over the next couple of weeks. I have about 20 cheapies too so I'll see the progression with those ❤️

Twinkle1989 · 20/11/2020 18:24

@GreenApplesYo I reckon it was your babydust when I flapped about having a peak at Day 9 and then another one 😉
Thank you for keeping me sane (almost!)

GreenApplesYo · 20/11/2020 18:31

@Twinkle1989 awww I'd love to think I have baby dust 💖have you told your partner now? Also hehe were you sitting on the loo crying?

Twinkle1989 · 20/11/2020 18:40

@GreenApplesYo
Not sat on the loo, arsing about running my bath and cleaning the bathroom 😂
I was so confident it was a negative and I would be drinking baileys - I feel sick at the thought that I may have drank without knowing 😭

He came home and said he had a mad day, I was mad, so I corrected him and told him 'we' were mad and threw the test at him 😂 he's trying to keep me calm just in case it's a false positive and telling me not to get too carried away 😭 it's so hard not to!!!!!

I want to book at early private scan before Christmas - do you think this is possible? According to the app I am 3wk + 3 days? Xx

AlisonWhite · 20/11/2020 18:42

@Twinkle1989 yay amazing! What day did you test on? What lovely news xxx

GreenApplesYo · 20/11/2020 18:53

@Twinkle1989 I think you can get a scan from 6wks? But I've read it's better to leave it until 7wks if you can to be sure of seeing the heartbeat. 7wks would be around 15th Dec I think?

It's unlikely to be a false positive!

EllyNC · 20/11/2020 19:09

Yesss @herringul we can test at the same time! Although I think I’m going to be chill and wait till at least the day AF is due!!

Twinkle1989 · 20/11/2020 19:11

@GreenApplesYo amazing!! May try and get in before Christmas but as close to as possible - maybe we can tell our nearest and dearest over dinner as long as everything is as it should be ❤️

Twinkle1989 · 20/11/2020 19:13

Ladies don't be disheartened by these cheapies!

You'll see how weak the line is on these - these are Femometer

Love to you all xx

EllyNC · 20/11/2020 19:13

I had an early scan with my first at 7 weeks, I’d defo do it again next time! Love that you threw the test at him 🤣🤣

AlisonWhite · 20/11/2020 19:41

@Twinkle1989 I have the fermometer one. It does say not to do until 2 days after period is due so would be interesting to see when the line gets darker on them. Keep us updated.
Xxx

Is everyone using this on their phones? My phone does not like the forum layout which is annoying as I want to stay here with you guys xxx

AlisonWhite · 20/11/2020 19:45

Ignore that! I just found the app... doh! X

HerringGull · 20/11/2020 20:41

Me too @EllyNC291 - testing early would mess with my head! I'm due on the 3rd at the latest. What day's AF due for you?

@Twinkle1989 yeah I think 7 weeks is a good time too. I didn't do it last time, but probably would if we get pregnant again. Just to see the heartbeat and check there's actually a baby there! I know other things like molar pregnancy are really rare, but it would be nice to rule it out early I think. Will your OH be allowed to go with you to a private scan?

Twinkle1989 · 20/11/2020 21:08

@HerringGull Yes, even with Covid-19 here, both private & NHS ones are allowing partners thankfully ❤️❤️

Pudding01 · 20/11/2020 23:09

Hey everyone. Please can i join? 3dpo today and omg i forgot how slow the days go in the tww!

Really tender boobs, blue veins & sore nipples (sorry for tmi) but reading it's normal with hormones. Going to be a long couple of weeks 😅

How are you all doing? X

EllyNC · 20/11/2020 23:26

Hi @Pudding01 welcome! I’m 3dpo too! Doing okay over here just trying not get too caught up in symptom spotting- distraction for the next 2 weeks for sure!! How long have you been ttc? Do you have any dc already?

@HerringGull my cycles are a little irregular but I think latest is the 2nd! That will be 14 dpo so I’ll probs test then if AF hasn’t already shown. Just gonna expect to come on and if I get the bfp that will be amazing !!

MushroomQueen · 20/11/2020 23:46

Hello , I am 8 dpo, I have been very tired, hormonal migraine (I usually get 2 days b4 AF, and very emotional yesterday with a weird taste in my mouth. I already have 2 boys 6 and 4 years old and i noticed my boobs change with them which mine havent yet so i could just be stressed.

AlisonWhite · 21/11/2020 08:16

I don't think I can think about symptoms... everything I have read has said You don't get any until the egg has implanted which later than I realised. It says no new hormones are released until then so how do some people get symptoms. It's all a bit confusing to me as nothing seems to fit all so I don't get why we try and follow stuff lol... help x

Twinkle1989 · 21/11/2020 08:25

Ladies, I just wanted to mention the Fertilily cup which I had used this month and I think it's a little different to the mooncup so would suggest trying it rather than the Mooncup.

Fertilily are similar to a moon cup but much smaller, softer and comfortable.

The Fertilily gets inserted like an umbrella so it pushes all the sperm further towards your cervix before you tug on the stem which pops it into position so it may be worth trying instead of a mooncup. Mooncups are inserted differently which wouldn't necessarily push the sperm up - if this makes any sense at all

I used it this month and I'm pregnant ❤️ definitely worth thinking about for £30 xx

unCliche · 21/11/2020 08:37

Oh @AlisonWhite, I completely get it. Conception is one thing we have absolutely no control over and I think we're just always looking for signs that something is happening mostly for reassurance. At the same time, some people's body can be sensitive to very subtle changes so symptoms can be real. For the most part, I've felt nothing different this cycle except one little thing which I'm trying not to over analyse. What symptoms have you been having?

Welcome @MushroomQueen, I'm 8dpo too! Glad there's someone around the same dpo as me! I really hope these signs lead to a BFP for you. I've read no two pregnancies are the same, so you never know! When are you testing??

@Twinkle1989 thanks for the info and congrats again

AlisonWhite · 21/11/2020 08:59

@unCliche thank you!!! I have had no systems at all. I am 6dpo today. But this is my first ever try. Although I did use LH strips and am pretty sure I caught ov for dtd, I'm not expecting anything this time. Xxx

AlisonWhite · 21/11/2020 08:59

@unCliche symptoms, not systems Grin

MushroomQueen · 21/11/2020 09:12

@unCliche thanks, I was very lucky with both my previous pregnancies, got pg very quickly and easy pregnancy both times apart from end was bit painful. With my first I needed to wee loads and my boobs were v v veiny, I kinda guessed I was as they had never looked like that b4, my 2nd I didn't have any symptoms lol. I again kinda knew no idea how tho, I was silly and did a test this morning. I've been very emotional and got a spot !?! This morning on my face, haven't had one for years. So I think I'm trying to wait until Tuesday ( my oh birthday) to test again. What about u

unCliche · 21/11/2020 09:14

@AlisonWhite last cycle was also my first try TTC and I started using OPKs as well as temping. So glad I started with those straight away because it highlighted my super short luteal phase plus I feel like they give a sense of control, like you're doing something super important. Are you using any other method to track? Checking CM has also helped me.
6 dpo isn't so far off where I am too! I've been feeling so nervous, being right inside implantation territory. I cautiously suspect that maybe I possibly in all potentiality could have but also may not have felt implantation yesterday. I probably didn't.
If you feel anything weird in the coming days, let me know please!
