@unCliche ooo great news about no AF yet! I do temp but my gadget only does whole numbers so really I need one with another decimal.. do you regard 1 as a tracker.. I.e my norm is 36.5, if you saw 36.6 do you track or should I be monitoring at 36.8 (if you get what I mean) x

HerringGull · 22/11/2020 13:56

@unCliche here you go. As I expected, FF has shifted my O day forward, so I'm still 3 dpo!
@Cc7750 - not sure what you mean, but I think you should def get a thermometer with two decimal places - it makes your chart a lot smoother. Do you use an app to track it?

Cc7750 · 22/11/2020 14:00

@unCliche I use glow... sorry I meant what’s the average temp increase but I can take a look at yours! Thanks

unCliche · 22/11/2020 15:40

@Cc7750 definitely try what @HerringGull said. With two decimal points you get to see what your temps are actually doing because there's definitely a big difference between 36.62 and 36.68. Do you have a chart that you can share?

HerringGull Awesome chart. The zig-zagging definitely doesn't even look like a big deal with that very obvious temp increase! Now you wait. 3DPO is that limbo time where you can't really do anything and not much is happening with your body. Do you have any distractions planned for your TWW?

coffeewithmilk · 22/11/2020 15:42

I think I'm currently 10dpo and did a test, can you see anything or is it my eyes

2DPO - Anyone with me....!
Cc7750 · 22/11/2020 15:46

@coffeewithmilk I do!! 🤞🏻🤞🏻 Don’t let it dry before you look those cheapies are fine but when they start to try they mess with you by showing evaporation lines!

@HerringGull sorry I wrote too fast, it’s your chart and it’s great! From next month I will monitor more closely with the LH strips and report back x
@unCliche I am not great with logging temps but I will def do from next month x

Aila1994 · 22/11/2020 15:51

@coffeewithmilk I definitely see a second line but have to mirror the above, those cheapies can show evaporation lines if you leave them too long! Do you have a FRER there?

coffeewithmilk · 22/11/2020 15:51

@Cc7750 yeah I know they're not the best! I'll go tomorrow and get a frer and see what that shows 🤞🏻

unCliche · 22/11/2020 15:52

Looks like congratulations may be in order @coffeewithmilk. I can see it too!! Amazing!

Pudding01 · 22/11/2020 17:17

@coffeewithmilk fingers crossed you get some more clarity on your FR! Smile

I'm 5dpo today and never known time go so slow! Lol No changes. Nipples still erm, very present and tender boobs. And gassy, weirdly.

Really wish I monitored my temps! At least I'd feel like i was doing something

coffeewithmilk · 22/11/2020 17:29

Thank you! I'm not going to think too much about it until I have it in words, will wait to do a digital one in a few days and hope it sticks!x

HerringGull · 22/11/2020 17:39

@Cc7750 think it's a bit wild and zigzaggy but it is doing what it's meant to do, which is all that matters. @Pudding01 this is my first cycle doing temps and it is totally fascinating! I think I'd get bored of it if TTC for ages, but it is good to check your cycle's working as it should. Would you do it next cycle do you think, or do you have a more chilled out approach to it all?
@unCliche hmm no plans really. I have now finished Christmas shopping (thankfully), so maybe I need a new task like that. Christmas baking? And Christmas baking testing? Grin How are you keeping yourself busy before testing this week? x

MushroomQueen · 22/11/2020 18:41

@coffeewithmilk defo a line congrats Smile

EllyNC · 22/11/2020 19:55

@coffeewithmilk 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 For you for tomorrow!!

@Pudding01 5dpo here toooo and it really is dragging isn’t it!! I hate this first week where there is nothing to do and no symptoms to spot really haha!!
I think I might order a 2 decimal point thermometer and start temping too!! Feel like it would be really interesting to do!

EllyNC · 22/11/2020 20:26

Anyone use femometer? Is it worth getting a femometer thermometer (lol) - any reason they are better than a regular cheapy??

Pudding01 · 22/11/2020 23:24

@HerringGull I'm definitely going to temp next cycle if this is a no go! Like you say, if anything it might help me understand my body more. And give me something to focus on! Quite chilled atm, as first month. But I tried for a year last time before I gave up! So we'll see how long my coolness lasts lol

@EllyNC ohh these days are the worst! Apart from the hormonal boobs I have nothing to work with 😂 What is an acceptable day to symptom spot? I'm hoping my weekend wine hasn't caused any issues. It was medicinal! (Uni weekend over zoom)

EllyNC · 23/11/2020 07:03

@Pudding01 I usually start symptom spotting straight away haha but I’ve told myself now no symptom spotting until at least 10dpo 🤣 I’m sure the wine has helped if anything, a nice destress!! 😝

Cc7750 · 23/11/2020 08:37

Can I ask a personal question... is anyone on here 35+ (I’m 38)... I ask as I’m expecting it to take me longer than the youngens!
I became a bit of a crazy career lady and also my ex was in the army so it just wasn’t right until I turned 37 sadly...
I’m not worried yet as really I only started using app August and didn’t log until Sept, so I’m going to say we’ve been trying 3 months..
You can all tell me your gorg 28yr olds, promise I won’t sit here and cry into my cup of tea with jealousy GrinWink

Two of my bessies fell this year without even trying so I’m not telling them I’m trying as they will get over excited and the pressure will be ridic ha!

EllyNC · 23/11/2020 10:01

@Cc7750 I’m 31! So not over 35 but defo not a sprightly 28yo haha. Lots of people having babies a bit later in life now, I’m sure you won’t be alone ☺️

Pudding01 · 23/11/2020 10:12

@Cc7750 I'm not far off 34, so not quite there, but definitely not young and sprightly haha
I wouldn't give yourself a hard time (if you are), I don't think there is a generic 'right time' for people with careers, relationships etc :) Good luck with your journey.

unCliche · 23/11/2020 11:41

I'm 28 (next week) and definitely not sprightly. Haha!

10DPO today and I have pink CM. Not cramping but AF could be on her way Sad

@HerringGull Ah you managed to get xmas shopping in! That's awesome, because it's going to undoubtedly get super busy once we come out of lockdown. I've grown some tomato and chilli seedlings from the seeds of some plants I nurtured (they're my grandveggies) and I'm planning on gifting each household one of each plant for xmas. I just hope they don't kill them. These are 2nd generation unCliche grown life.
I mostly kept myself busy looking at stuff for the house (we got our mortgage offer today!!) but the last few days I've been obsessing over my temps and stalking forums but Christmas baking sounds like a better plan!

Cc7750 · 23/11/2020 11:47

@unCliche pink CM could be implantation! It’s normally around that time x stay positive!

unCliche · 23/11/2020 12:09

@Cc7750 I'm very suspicious of my cycles. Last cycle had a 9 day LP and if AF starts today that'll be another 9 day LP - so right on time. I'm just not going to get my hopes up. How's your AF going? Is it your usual flow?

Cc7750 · 23/11/2020 13:21

@unCliche being like clockwork has its advantages in some ways.. but you never know, odder things have happened!

Heavy and I’m bloated like a little pig (plus stuffing my face in lockdown doesn’t help ha).. but hopefully a shorter cycle! It does make me think whoever falls in lockdown runs the risk of being extra big because of all this food we are consuming!!

EllyNC · 23/11/2020 13:22

@unCliche fingers crossed it’s implantation!!!!! 🤞🏻
