Tracking your cycle and possible BFP using RHR - part 4

Hi ladies,

This is for all of us with heart rate monitors who wish to help each other analyse the RHR patterns throughout our cycles.

Early research shows there's a correlation with increasing RHR and BFPs - so let's try and spot some together!

@glasslily i need go buy some tests first ha. I would usually go after work or something but I now take the mother in law to work and back as we work together and would be slightly awkward if she knew i was buying them especially if it comes back negative anyway. Got an opportunity to go tonight, need a food shop, nip in to b&ms for the cheap strips as its next door and then off to slimming world.
Oh and I'll probs test tonight cos I'm inpatient like that and again in the morning

poptypingchef · 21/10/2020 18:25

@ambs1994 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

ambs1994 · 21/10/2020 20:12

Can anyone see anything?

GlassLily · 21/10/2020 21:56

@poptypingchef haha I am glad it's not just me that gets all excited about RHR increasing by 1bpm 😂

@ambs1994 I don't see a line 🙁 but you're not out until AF shows!

ambs1994 · 21/10/2020 21:59

@glasslily i thought i could ha must have been my eyes. I'll try again in the morning :)

poptypingchef · 21/10/2020 22:03

Did you manage to get any tests @ambs1994

ambs1994 · 21/10/2020 22:06

@poptypingchef yep got the clear and simple strip tests from b&m.. done one above earlier ^ i thought i could see something especially with a filter and black and white

poptypingchef · 22/10/2020 04:06

Ah sorry, saw the green and thought you were doing a cheeky OPk to see if anything came up 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

ambs1994 · 22/10/2020 04:26

@poptypingchef wow arent you awake early!
I actually did an opk the other day and there was a line but not a 'positive'. I've just done another test and i can honestly see something, not sure if its an indent though. Need to use the torch to actually see it so probably won't show on camera.

poptypingchef · 22/10/2020 04:32

Hahaha wasn’t expecting a response this early @ambs1994, yeah fell asleep on the sofa before bed now I’m wide awake 😳😳😳

poptypingchef · 22/10/2020 04:34

Fingers crossed it gets darker, how many DPO are you

ambs1994 · 22/10/2020 07:27

@poptypingchef 12dpo i think.

Heres another test I've just done. Think my eyes are playing tricks on me.

Mrsi2020 · 22/10/2020 09:12

@ambs1994 I’m sure I see something ! Abs I don’t think a strip showed anything for me until about 14dpo .... fingers crossed

@SarahTTC2020 I’m doing good, 10+2 now and as the hospital says in my 11th week which sounds so much bettter haha. Honestly I would recommend an early scan to everyone that’s preg. I know it’s not a guarantee but nothing ever is and knowing all is where it should be and there’s a wee heartbeat is just incredible. My anxiety is minimal now and I was a nervous wreck. I’ve another scan on Saturday and then 9 days later i I’ve my 12 week scan which I didn’t expect to get so soon! I’ll be glad to be outta the first trimester so we can stop hiding it from people and can tell the kids. My 10 nearly 11 year old 100% knows we’re keeping something from them 🤣 xxx

Juno231 · 22/10/2020 09:36

@ambs1994 sorry I can't see anything - any idea what miu those are though? FRER might be a better bet for you.

@LarasMama holy moly yours has really dropped! literally just fell off a cliff didn't it.

I'm 8DPO today and the wine I had at the weekend spiked my RHR massively so it's just spend all week coming back down. Had another glass last night so it immediately jumped up to 70 today as a result...
Will attach in a sec, need to use my mobile for that!

@Juno231

As promised
I had the same thing happen to me. I'm kind of relieved to see it happens to other people as I was worried something was wrong with me!
Juno231 · 22/10/2020 10:04

@kirinm haha I think my charts are a bit of a joke on here tbh because I tend to have wine so often! Even just one or two glasses with dinner makes my RHR spike and if I have wine on consecutive days it just keeps going up up up. So my charts don't really mean anything anymore pretty much Grin

I'm potentially 9 or 10dpo, I got my fitbit on Saturday, my rhr of 73on the Sunday was only half a day, im 72rhr every day. I could be pregnant this month, I don't know, had bd on 3days before ovulation. Id like to join this thread

My scan at EPU didn't go well today 💔
The sac is still empty and hadn't grown much.
I've chosen to wait it out for now...
I had a little bit of hope cos my heart rate hadn't dropped below the day that I had my first positive test before it started to rise again over the past few days but having seen the scan today it's gonna start dropping again soon 😔
