Tracking your cycle and possible BFP using RHR - part 4

Hi ladies,

This is for all of us with heart rate monitors who wish to help each other analyse the RHR patterns throughout our cycles.

Early research shows there's a correlation with increasing RHR and BFPs - so let's try and spot some together!

@GlassLily @mumof23188 ooo thanks. I'm getting a bit worried because it's sort of plateaud around 80bpm for the last 5 days but it's still 3bpm more than before so 🙈 this is how my bbt chart is looking, I'm counting the high one a few days ago as an anomaly as my thermometer had a bit of a mad morning 🤣

@lucyrp I’m new to bbt so I’m no good at that but having a high heart rate is a good sign ☺️

I’m so upset I messed my chart up this cycle 😩😩

@mumof23188 oh no how annoying but good rise!! Did you adjust it for late wake up?

Hmm so I’ve done two ic OPKs and not even a hint of a line so v worried I’ve ovulated today and not realised as I would normally at least get something at this point ?!? I’ve had lots of EWCM today so hoping I can catch tonight 🤞🏻

@LS2020 nope I haven’t! I will have a google and find out how I adjust it.

It’s sometimes difficult to catch the positives with the IC OPK’s. Fingers crossed for you tonight lovely. There’s still a chance all the while you have the EWCM 🤞

@mumof23188 I think you bring it down 0.1 for every half an hour later ☺️

I hope so because I have no clue what’s going on with my RHR 😔 normally doesn’t rise until ovulation and wasn’t expecting until at earliest today. Although it’s deffo doing that thing where I look at the detail and it’s barely been as high as 59 all night so no idea how I got that RHR today

Up to 70 today but I've got brown blood when I wipe after the loo so I think she's on her way.

@LS2020 thanks lovely. I found an adjuster on google and changed it. So frustrating that it’s suddenly changed, Are you still testing with the cheapies?

I’m also feeling confused! No crosshairs on my chart yet and HR is still low. Missed my chance I think as my OH is now working away so we haven’t got to DTD since CD10.

@ambs1994 ahh so confusing for you 😩. Do you usually get some brown blood before AF?

@mumof23188 i cant even remember to be honest ha. All my days have rolled into one this week. I've got no period pains if she is on her way, i usually get some sort of sign like that.
Might still get a test this morning and see what happens

@ambs1994 I know that feeling 🤣. Yes might be worth getting a test for a definitive answer.

I'm not sure what mine is doing altogether but this is it at the moment. Af due in 4 days I think

I think im definitely not pregnant. Got a digital in the pack too but cos i hadnt laid it flat enough as i was in the car, it didnt work 😤

I've had a full 10 days of LP which is great for me. RHR down 1bpm today. Think AF will show up tomorrow, then onto another month.

Hey guys, i’ve been mia. Just checking in now. We’re on CD13 and I’m trying to figure out if my OPK is positive. What do you guys think?

Yep I'm out 🤷🏻‍♀️ never mind. However i think i do need looking at. My cycles seem to vary a lot.
August 45 day cycle, then a 31 day cycle and now a 41 day cycle

@ambs1994 how many months into ttc are you ? I had a 72 day cycle , a 47 day and I'm currently on CD55 expecting it to finish in 4 days hopefully

@lucyrp we're not trying but not preventing either. Were in the boat where if it happens it happens if it doesn't it doesnt type situation.

@ambs1994 unfortunately if that's the case you're very unlikely to get an appointment regarding your cycles ☹️ we're they regular before august or were you on contraception ?

@lucyrp they were really irregular before going on the pill and that was a good 4.5 years ago. I come off it last year and they've varied ever since. I have been checked for pcos earlier in the year and i dont have that. My gp also is aware of me having positive tests but then not ever being pregnant so he asked me to track the next 3 cycles (1 more to go) and go back to see him to see about looking into it further

@ambs1994 could it not be that you've had CPs every time ?? I've had 4 positive pregnancy tests. One was a CP, 2 CB evaps and 1 FRER that didn't turn into anything either

@lucyrp yep its a good possibility that they could have been cp's and thats what he wants to investigate also

@lucyrp when i originally went to be checked for pcos they weren't too bothered about if we were trying or not. They were happy to check just in case for the future - sort of planning ahead and worked out options if i did have it, which I don't. So I'm sure they'd be happy to have a look further at my cycles. I wont bother going until I've had this one. IF I have had cp's i just wonder why wont they stick?
