Hi @Loladoodle same here! I'm being relaxed too and just DTD every other day once I see ewcm. I figure my cycles are regular too, I know roughly when I ovulate, so I'm just going with that rough time. I also got some ubiquinol to start taking, from Holland and Barrett. AND me too - I've also decided to cut down on alcohol, just having a drink on Friday evenings. God we are actual life twins! 🤣🤣

@Loladoodle thanks! I think I spoke too soon! GP has referred me to gynae and I'm sitting waiting on a scan! Thought I just had infection signs but they want to check me out! Silly bodies! 🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

I’m doing the opposite of everyone else’s taking it easy 😬 I’ve just had a new thermometer arrive so going to try temping. Not sure how I’ll get on with it though as I think I’m a mouth breather 🙄

Not commented here before but I’m 37 and trying ttc #1.

I’m re-attempting temping this month (I got bored after briefly temping last year) @GuessHowMuch, and oral temping wasn’t great for me because I’m a bit of a mouth breather too so I switched it up. Will also be trying a CB monitor because we’ve only been trying previously when I think I ovulate so I’m attempting some different things

Thanks, ladies! Update is that my uterus is clear! Yay! 😃 Discharge does not seem infective, but they're double checking, and could be ovulatary or pre-AF?! 🤷🏻‍♀️ May have a UTI though, so been given antiobiotics that will cover both that and any possible vaginal infection!

Word of warning though, the easyathome PT gave me a very faint positive, but hospital thankfully confirmed a BFN! 🤦🏻‍♀️ @MgW1 was this the issue you had or was it another test? 🤔

@GuessHowMuch your mouth breather comment made me lol!!! 🤣🤣🤣 I've found BBT to be pretty good in general for tracking, even though I constantly feel roasting, yet my BBT is fine!

@LittleAurora possibly the faintest shadow in the second picture but maybe that’s just the lighting? I can’t see a coloured line yet though 😔 Fingers crossed you just ovulated earlier though and it’s just taking a few extra days. Also - is that a dog sniffing your test?!?!?

Yes , i think they are just so sensitive. Apparently a woman has a small amount of hcg naturally a baseline of upto 5 and these tests and the frer are very sensitive so can give misleading result and also id rather not know if id had an early chemical. Iv had enough stress now with testing. New approach next month , if prefer AF to a BFN!!! 🤣🤣 xxx

Good luck @LittleAurora hopefully you get a stronger line in a day or two. Clear blue aren’t very sensitive, a frer might be better to try as you may have ov late

Are you using a regular mouth thermometer this time @thislittlebird? I considered an Ava bracelet but not sure I can justify the cost. I’ve got two DC already and I’m having days when I really really want a third but then other days when I think I just want to send the two I’ve already got back. Home schooling is brutal.

Pleased everything has gone as well as possible @M4v3r1ck. Make sure you take some probiotics after your antibiotics (totally not a medical opinion - just what my mum makes me do 😂).

I am sad and to be honest, a little bit panicky. AF has arrived, 3 days early, making my last cycle only 22 days long. I haven't had one that short for a long time.

That was our 2nd cycle TTC our first baby. I know it hasn't been very long, but to be honest I am just counting the months until we're allowed to seek help on the NHS (after 6 months of trying, as we are 'geriatric') as I am convinced we aren't going to be able to do this without help.

After two months of following the 'every other day throughout your cycle' rule for DTD (and tbh it's more like daily in the fertile window) I am now ready with all the techniques - OPK, BBT, CM tracking. And a huge feeling of deflation sad

Try not to be disheartened @TTCat39 at the beginning it's very frustrating when everyone knows all those people who've got pregnant 'without even trying' or 'by accident' but at least for you there can be help if it doesn't happen naturally.

@GuessHowMuch Nah, just decided to take the temp vaginally instead tbh, seemed more reliable than temping following my dodgy breathing all night. What does the Ava do? I had no luck with OPKs before (I am lazy/easily bored though and didn’t try for long) so this month I’m committing to the clear blue fertility monitor and temping, and then I’ve got some private fertility tests the end of this month, hopefully they’ll go well.

Haha, I think what you’re saying is the reason I think I only need one lol. And tbh probably don’t have time for more than one considering I’m 38 in May. Hopefully I can achieve that one fx

I couldn't help myself. I tried a frer. I can see a pink line with my eyes but can't get it on camera 😭😭😭😭

@LittleAurora did it come up in the time frame? Or after? Still looks a bit like an evap however if you can’t pick up the pink on the camera that would be why. 🤞 for you!
