@Waiting4another yeah it was a frer, the first one I’ve used I have a load of ic’s too, I have a couple more frers in the house so I’ll try on Wednesday that way I’ll be 10dpo!

Waiting4another · 12/10/2020 13:25

My DH just ignores the fact that I constantly pee in cups haha and pretends that he can’t see the ten million OPK and pregnancy test sticks that I have lined up in the bathroom. If the sticks mean more DTD he will quite happily turn a blind eye hehe

Waiting4another · 12/10/2020 13:33

@Char899 I have a couple of FRERs around too but I will only use them to confirm if I see sth on a cheapie (or on several cheapies). I like to be able to test frequently and guilt free! Anything before 12 DPO and you are just asking for a false negative, but I can’t help myself and need to start testing from like 5 DPO. I thought I may have ovulated like 5 days after implant removal (obviously hadn’t) and was testing daily from like 5 fakeDPO to like 14 fake DPO Blush

Mommabear20 · 12/10/2020 13:35

Haha thanks 😂

Just woken up from an unintentional nap 😴 I don't nap!!! I'll be seriously peeved if AF arrives this month now!!!

Waiting4another · 12/10/2020 13:35

I ordered like 60 tests online though for peanuts though so might as well use them up I figure...

Waiting4another · 12/10/2020 13:37

That’s a good sign @Mommabear20!
Then again, you do have a 3 month old - I found having an infant was pretty nap inducing...

Mommabear20 · 12/10/2020 13:38

DH just rolls his eyes at me when he sees another test in the bathroom 😆 I said I'll just leave the positive one for him to find and make a game out of it 😂 give myself 5 minutes peace at least!

Char899 · 12/10/2020 20:21

I’m feeling a bit flat this evening! Was really hoping I’d see some vague line or shadow or something when I poas. I wasn’t feeling like it was my month anyway and now I really don’t 😒 pfffft. Think I’m going to need a twirl and a cuppa to cheer me up! Haha @Mommabear20 have you tested today?

@Waiting4another I’ll definitely be testing daily now, there’s no way I’d be able to wait until Wednesday/Thursday!

Mommabear20 · 12/10/2020 20:28

@Char899 no I refrained! 😂 JUST! I would though if my in laws hadn't made a surprise visit! 😆

Grab yourself a cuppa and some choccy and chill! You deserve it!

OP posts:
Char899 · 12/10/2020 20:38

@Mommabear20 yeah I’m definitely going to do that. Nice early night for me I’m shattered! Then poas again tomorrow just to tie her myself 😂

Char899 · 12/10/2020 20:38

Stupid autocorrect *torcher

Mommabear20 · 12/10/2020 20:43

Haha 😂 why do we do this too ourselves?? Seriously! It's mad! I never had this last time as we just stoppped using contraception and weren't really trying so this is all new and is torture!

I'm still trying to shift some of my baby weight so have a choccy for me too! 😆

OP posts:
Mommabear20 · 12/10/2020 20:44

@Waiting4another so how many of your 69 tests have you used so far? 😂

OP posts:
Char899 · 12/10/2020 22:57

@Mommabear20 wow just noticed the way I spelt torture... I better be pregnant, otherwise I’m apparently losing brain cells 🤪

Waiting4another · 13/10/2020 03:13

@Char899 haha baby brain during pregnancy is so real! Sadly for me, it seems to have been a slow recovery for me post pregnancy...
@Mommabear20 I still have most of the tests left, but it has only been like 42 days and I haven’t even had AF yet so really I should have ALL of them left and I definitely do not! I was the same last time in how I got pregnant so figure I can have double the ttc torture this time! Also don’t worry too much about the baby weight yet, took me a full year before I was ready to tackle mine and then one day I just had enough and a month later it was all off - I think you are better off just waiting until you are properly good and ready to deal with it, rather than trying to push yourself. Who cares about a few extra kilos post baby as long as you are not feeling unhealthy because of it...

AngeloMysterioso · 13/10/2020 09:32

Can I join the thread? I’m on cycle 2 now, we had an unsuccessful September FW that was curtailed by a UTI Sad

Char899 · 13/10/2020 09:42

@AngeloMysterioso of course, welcome! Where are you in your cycle now?

Guys I was in the worst mood last night haha I almost ripped my OH’s head off for no reason! Have refrained from testing so far this morning and luckily my mum is coming over soon so that will distract me for a few more hours! How’s everyone doing?

@Mommabear20 definitely don’t worry about baby weight! Your only 3 months pp! I was carrying extra weight for probably about a year possibly longer.

@Waiting4another same here, tbh I don’t feel like I ever lost my baby brain! Been clumsy ever since getting pg with ds over 2 years ago 🤦🏼‍♀️

Mommabear20 · 13/10/2020 10:34

Morning ladies!!

@AngeloMysterioso of course! Welcome!!!

@Char899 I'm not worried about my weight for me exactly, more going into another pregnancy I want to be as healthy as I can and I know that by the end of the next one it'll be super tough to shift it so just trying to shift what I can now 😂 living 2 streets from my favourite Chinese take away isn't helping matters! 😂

OP posts:
Mommabear20 · 13/10/2020 10:36

@Char899 oh no! Hope you're mood has lifted a little today! Im keeping myself occupied by wrapping Christmas presents 😂 DH can downstairs with our daughter at 8am and said it looked like Santa's workshop! 😆

How is everyone feeling today? Any new symptoms popped up?

OP posts:
Bellaphant · 13/10/2020 10:45

@Mommabear20, you are so organised, you make me tired.
@Char899, hope you are feeling better. I'm seeing my mum on Sunday, thinking I'd be about 9 days post ovulation, that's too early to test!

Mommabear20 · 13/10/2020 10:47

😂 @Bellaphantits to make up for the lack of organisation you DH brings to the table 😆

OP posts:
Waiting4another · 13/10/2020 12:22

@Mommabear20 seriously, I haven’t even thought about Christmas presents yet, let alone purchased or wrapped them!
@Char899 hope you are feeling better this morning, but OH can take it, keep him on his toes and blame the hormones hehe
@Bellaphant 9dpo is not totally silly to test, if you have a cheapie strip around it is worth a shot, if it is a BFN it will just be as expected/too early, but if it is a BFP it might be nice to know before spending time with mum! I am such a bad testing influence, haha, sorry not sorry
@AngeloMysterioso welcome, are you trying for your second bub too? How old is your first?
Still nothing exciting to report here, just 42 days of identical OPKs, but trying to DTD most days this week in case ovulation turns up around day 45 again like it did with my first! If I don’t ovulate by the end of the week I might need to think about cutting out some breastfeeds I think 😕

Mommabear20 · 13/10/2020 13:49

In my defence, I've only done my Christmas shopping this yearly because I'm on maternity leave so money is tight atm so trying to space it out a little.

@Waiting4another any progress on DS taking milk from a cup? Cutting out some breastfeeds can only help so fx for you!

OP posts:
Waiting4another · 13/10/2020 14:05

@Mommabear20 I think the organisation and pre planning is amazing. I wish I was 1/4 as organised!
It is definitely baby steps with DS, but I feel like we are doing fewer night feeds lately, so hopefully that makes a difference.
DS is getting so grown up now at 16 months haha - such a little human - it makes me think I need to get on with the sibling making asap!

Mommabear20 · 13/10/2020 14:10

@Waiting4another oh that's good! My niece has just turned 1 and she's a really little person now too! They're great at that age! 😁
How often does he feed during the night if you don't mind me asking? DD is formula fed and sleeps through the night since about 8 weeks so I don't know how it goes with BF babas.
