@Supermathsdoc thank you, I’m not 100% sure how to interpret it but it definitely looks like a very informative method on top of OPKs etc.
Finger crossed for you! Would be lovely to all have a positive month! Are you in your TWW now? X

MummyToPrince · 19/10/2020 12:59

@robodo yep I was feeling like that but I've relaxed now and think what will be will be

@RBCoxie how are you feeling today? X

OP posts:
RBCoxie · 19/10/2020 13:16

@MummyToPrince I'm feeling okay - I haven't had as much ovulation pain today as I was expecting considering what it was like last month so keen to see what today's OPK shows! I think this month I'm feeling like we literally couldn't have done any more - OPKs, using pre-seed and DTD every day for what will be over a week so if it doesn't work then I just have to accept it wasn't meant to be! x

MummyToPrince · 19/10/2020 13:26

@RBCoxie I had a little pain last night on my right side and then a few central cramps but I've not had nothing today :-/ x

OP posts:
RBCoxie · 19/10/2020 13:47

@MummyToPrince yeah it doesn't seem to be as regular as AF pain - I'm counting down the hours to 5pm, I'm desperate to see what's going on! x

MummyToPrince · 19/10/2020 14:01

@RBCoxie I did have quite a bit of pain on my left side last week, I'll do another OPK and see if it's still negative x

Supermathsdoc · 19/10/2020 14:01

@BettyM90 if you do decide to temp, I got the thermometer that automatically puts that data into the Premom app. I found
This really helpful. I think @RBCoxie is using their sticks as well so the app can put everything together.

Yeah I’m I’m the TWW, I’ve found I’m quite rational for the first week though and when all the hormones peak in the second week I get a bit frantic about every little twinge or slightly unusual ‘symptom’

Like @MummyToPrince and rbcoxie I have a little diary of what I’ve felt in previous cycles and it’s very consistent, down to the day I get a headache! Having never been pregnant though it’s all just guess work that passes the time for me...

How are you doing?

MummyToPrince · 19/10/2020 14:22

So that's my OPK this afternoon :-) only a fraction brighter than thee one I took forth thing this morning, but I won't be taking anymore now :-)

The only thing I can advise about symptoms in the second week of the tww is that feeling you get that AF is coming is also a pregnancy symptom when I was pregnant with my son it was my nipples that made me aware I was pregnant, however I was adamant AF was coming because of that feeling like you was about to bleed but I never did a day before AF I had the brightest bfp

@MummyToPrince oh that’s really interesting about the AF symptoms. Everything I’ve read is very clear that anything you feel can be both AF or pregnancy but trying to work it out is somehow so addictive!

HollowayL31 · 19/10/2020 15:03

@MummyToPrince @Supermathsdoc it's funny as with my son the only symptom I had was one night after a pizza and a few drinks I felt really sick, I'd just meet my partner and was praying I didn't have a tummy bug, was sick and then fine after and even the next day absolutely fine. Most recently in July when I had a chemical I was camping with the kids and one night I woke up feeling so sick again and I thought I'd eaten something doggy on the bbq and the next day was fine. Hoping I get it this month or this week as 6dpo lol x

Supermathsdoc · 19/10/2020 15:12

@HollowayL31 oh wow you’re well on your way! I’ve noticed I feel a low level nausea literally every cycle. This is bizarre to me as I never noticed it before paying attention when TTC!

I definitely have that now but I know it’s all just progesterone...my partner thinks I stress myself out with trying to get the timing right so afterwards I feel a bit sick and generally exhausted.

RBCoxie · 19/10/2020 15:31

@MummyToPrince that OPK is definitely on its way down! Looks like you've ovulated - yaaaaay!! 1.5 hours to go for me - if I can hold my pee 😂

@BettyM90 yep! As @Supermathsdoc said, I use the easy@home OPKs and they've been great so far - would definitely recommend and use again.

RBCoxie · 19/10/2020 16:31

@MummyToPrince couldn't hold my pee any longer - OPK has dropped!! Gone from 1.18 (peak) yesterday to 0.25 today (low)! YAY! x

MummyToPrince · 19/10/2020 17:16

@RBCoxie Yaaaaaaay!! How exciting x

I'm going to continue this thread on a new one as its getting very full and I think the cut off point is 1000 messages.. Who's joining and what shall I call it? X

OP posts:
RBCoxie · 19/10/2020 18:22

@MummyToPrince think it goes without saying to count me in for the next thread! 😂💕 hmm...I'm probably the least creative person here so I think I may leave the name to someone else. Best I could come up with was 'Something for Everyone' as I remember someone welcoming a newbie with a great post about how we're all in different situations & different when it comes to testing/anxiety/staying calm etc but a supportive lot 😂 I'm sure someone can think of something better! x

BettyM90 · 19/10/2020 18:46

@Supermathsdoc thank you, fingers crossed none of us will need it next month 🤞🏻🤞🏻 But I will keep in mind if I do! I’m using the femometer app at the moment but might get the bundle of easy@home stuff I saw on amazon which had the thermometer and the opks and hcg test strips.
When do you think you will test?
I agree with @MummyToPrince I had the same with my son when I found out I was pregnant the first time. I felt like I was starting AF and had a bit of brown ish blood and that afternoon I got a BFP on a digital test x

BettyM90 · 19/10/2020 18:47

Would love to join the new thread @MummyToPrince :) x

robodo · 19/10/2020 19:00

MummyToPrince · 19/10/2020 19:12

One of the reasons I can't symptom spot is that these are my PMT symptoms...
Boobs go up a cup size
Super sensitive nipples
Around 4lb weight gain
Salty cravings
Nausea in particular smells making me gag
Lightheadedness
Crying at everything, like full on sobbing, I was once inconsolable because I'd forgotten to put fabric conditioner in the wash!
On the plus side I no longer turn into pizza face 😁

Marri1995 · 20/10/2020 13:45

@MummyToPrince
Can you tag me in the new group chat or link it here I don’t know how to find it

Imworthit · 23/10/2020 11:32

Can't find the new thread. Sorry I've been away. Trying to stay calmer this month. Anyone else found it?
