@MummyToPrince hope so! The Ovia app has now changed to say I'm day 3 into my fertile week and PreMom is saying I'm day 1 - who knows! I'd just like to see some movement on the OPKs now! x

@RBCoxie you’ve got to be able to have sense of humour about all this stuff I think. Last cycle I was holding a syringe of a almost complete strangers jizz and my gf was like ‘so should I ‘help’ or is this a solo job?’ Not a situation either of us ever imagined we would be in....!!

@robodo yes I think the same. There’s absolutely no way I could tell anyone this stuff in real life. So nice to share things with people going through similar things at the same time. Let’s hope we can move on to a pregnancy group together this month!

@RBCoxie I'm sure I said yesterday or Tuesday that I think you will peak on Friday, I still stand by this and I hope I'm right :-) Ovia says I'm 1dpo tomorrow and my femometre app says I'm 3dpo lol and Premom says I'm 1dpo today 😂 x

Just looked back at last months OPKs - the first picture was CD14 and the second picture was CD15 - absolutely no gradual rise there 😂 so maybe it'll just be another random peak without a rise this month!

@RBCoxie I hope I am right! Yeah definitely let me know, I'm negative nelly today 😂🤦‍♀️ it's begun and it's only 1dpo! Since my ovulation test I've been quite dry no cm and then I had a tiny bit of creamy cm and today I have ewcm 🤯 already counting melyself out! X

@MummyToPrince I've just done a quick google and it says it's normal for CM to dry up after ovulation (due to an increase in progesterone) - not quite sure on the EWCM - could you maybe try another OPK just to confirm that you don't have a second rise or something like that? x

@RBCoxie I haven't got any opks I ordered some yesterday evening and they are arriving tomorrow. I've just been reading these, I'm not getting my hopes up but it has got me out of feeling negative already 😂 where has the relaxed me gone 🤯🤦‍♀️

@MummyToPrince oh that's great! The more I read about it the more I think our bodies just go a bit haywire around ovulation! I've just done my first OPK of the day - lowest result yet 😂 mine seem to be going from faint, to fainter! Going to do another one later on in the day and see what happens. I'm predicting a peak on Sunday/Monday. x

@MummyToPrince yep! Still ridiculously low! I'm struggling with trying to stay hydrated because I know it's good for ovulation etc but not drinking too much in case I dilute my pee too much. I have no idea whether that's having anything to do with it or not! x

@RBCoxie 😣 can your body just ovulate now please 😂 yeah I understand what you mean, hopefully it happens over the weekend! It would be amazing if our wee turned blue when we start ovulating 🔵 would save us money, even more so if our wee changed colour again to confirm the sperm has met the egg!! 😂 X

@MummyToPrince tell me about it! I'm currently on 0.09 😂 couldn't be much lower if I tried really! The highest I've got so far is 0.15 and that was yesterday early afternoon. Omg imagine - I'd love that! 🔵 for ovulating 🟢 for sperm meets egg and 🟣 for implantation. DREAM situation! 😂 last month I ovulated on CD16 which will be Tuesday for me so hopefully something will appear soon! x

EWCM bang on schedule!

Update: very stressful couple days. I got a positive OPK yesterday but only half believed it because I was predicted to ovulate on Sunday and had had no temperature changes. Then today my EWCM dried up (started on Tuesday) so I am convinced I ovulated either yesterday or today.

My donor is so lovely he came round this evening (I was also partly stressing about the London lockdown starting tomorrow) so currently got my legs in the air post insemination.... I know there’s nothing I can do but my best but it’s so frustrating that a 2 day cycle change can have such a massive impact for me.

I feel so silly for not believing the sticks, think I’ve missed it this month sadly.

@Supermathsdoc I'm sorry you've have a stressful few days, that's lovely that your donor come round! I don't think you have missed it, ovulation can take up to 36 hours and it only takes 1 time, have you had and ovulation pain? Or do you not get that?

@Supermathsdoc I'm so glad your donor came over today, what a star! Take a deep breath. LH peak is 12-36 hrs before ovulation and sperm lives for 3-5 days. I've got everything crossed for you 🤞

@MummyToPrince more money to spend on wine seems great to me! 😂 it really is dragging now - I'm not feeling well this evening either, the thought of DTD is really not filling me with joy 😂

@Supermathsdoc ah that does sound stressful - the impending lockdown isn't helping anything either! But honestly, I don't think you've missed it. The OPK shows that you'll ovulate within 24-48 hours, so you've managed to see your donor within that time frame so either you'll be ovulating today or tomorrow which is great - I think you've timed it pretty well! I'm keeping everything crossed for you!

@RBCoxie seems great to me too 😂🤦‍♀️ but here we are wanting to go 10 months without it 😂 it really does seem like it's dragging but I bet it feels like 5 days in 1 for you! Ah no I hope you feel better soon! I hate when you feel unwell but you know you need to DTD 🤦‍♀️

@MummyToPrince it's one thing I'm really not looking forward to! 🤦‍♀️ yeah it's really does! Although I'm hoping I'll get a stronger OPK this weekend so it's something to look forward to. If I get to Monday and I'm still on 0.08, I'm giving up 😂 ah thank you! Think I just need an early night and sleep it off x

I think I have this expectation of myself and my body that I’ll be able to pinpoint ovulation down to the minute! But it just doesn’t work like that.

If this is not the month, then next time when I see EWCM I’ll ask him to come the next day and trust my body over the sticks and the temps!

Ovulation pain is something I’ve only very recently started to notice and I definitely had it today. I have read though that it can (helpfully) occur before during and after ovulation!

My head always goes to the worst case scenario which is that the OPK stick was positive at 1400 yesterday, I could have ovulated within 12 hours of that and maybe the egg survives 12 hours meaning by 1400 today it was game over....
