@MummyToPrince We are all winging it so you’re in good company! I wish there was a more definite way to know! I’m not sure, I still think it’s too early and I’m also temping and havnt had a big dip yet... such a small window and so easy to miss it

@BellaBella84 😂😂😂dyslexia fail. meant to say luteal phase: the time between ovulation and AF. Lengthing it can give a longer opportunity for implantation to take place.

Can I be honest girls, your opk strips melt my brain, looks super confusing. Smiley test enough for me. Surely unless your using a donor it's way easier to just fuck alot and hope for the best? Can those things pinpoint time of day to TTC? or are you guys just entertaining yourselves during the wait? Genuinely curious what the purpose is/if you think they help?

@Imworthit as you say I’m using a donor so without OPK tests I think it’s really likely I wouldn’t be close enough to ovulation. I think if I wasn’t using a donor I would still prefer to know when I’d ovulated, but they do say that as long as you DTD every other day in your fertile window chances are high...

What I have noticed about myself though is that every cycle I don’t get pregnant, I look for something different to do the next cycle! That could just be my way of coping though..

@Imworthit this is my first month using them but it gives you a better understanding of when your going to ovulate

Ovulation pain has gone today and not feeling anything so not quite sure when to start counting my dpo maybe I'll start tomorrow if I start tomorrow then it will take me to CD 29 which sounds right

@MummyToPrince it's so strange, I had normal CM and EWCM when I was on the pill but now I've come off it I have absolutely nothing! Pre-seed is definitely needed for me! I think you get more creamy cm after ovulation so that's pretty normal - I'm sure DTD can't hurt but if you did stop it sounds like you've caught it at the best time! I'm getting minor twinges in my right side which tend to get worse until ovulation so fingers crossed I'm on the right track! GREAT idea about the wine! I live within 5 min walk of a Majestic wines - it's lethal. Literally. 😂 x

@Supermathsdoc thanks so much - it sounds so normal when other people say it but yesterday I got myself all worked up over nothing! EWCM is definitely a good start - did you say your donor was coming to see you on Saturday? You've still got time!

@Imworthit I'm using OPKs so I know definitelt when I ovulated and then when my TWW starts & a more accurate prediction of when AF is due. I'm only just off the pill for being on it for 13 years so I prefer to know what's going on.

@RBCoxie after reading into everything I think I have ovulated, so I'm going to start tomorrow as 1dpo and hope for the best! Oooo I hope you ovulate soon 🤞 I'd love to live that close 😂 x

@MummyToPrince sounds like a good plan to me! Im so excited for you - the start of your TWW! Is it just me or does it seem to have gone by quite quickly since the TWW last month?! I'm day 1 into the fertile week according to
PreMom today - according to Ovia my fertile week starts on Sunday, so who knows! If Ovia is right then it'll just be a few more days of DTD every day! x

@RBCoxie it definitely has gone really fast! My Ovia changes when I put in ewcm and stuff.. But I'm literally only going off my OPK and ewcm this month 😂 I wish we was starting the TWW together! X

@MummyToPrince yeah my Ovia used to change too but I put in right pelvic pain and it didn't change it which was surprising! I think it's because I'm also logging the negative OPKs in there which must be overriding the changes. Ahh me too!! It would make it so much easier! At least we'll have one week crossover - you'll be into your second week when I'm starting my first. x

@RBCoxie yeah it probably is over riding it!.. It definitely would make it easier! It's nerve wracking going first 😂 I'm excited for us though.. And I'm still relaxed :-) my ovulation pain didn't stay as long as last time I just have on and off central cramps but very light cramps x

@MummyToPrince I think I'm the same as you im ovulating today so 1dpo tomorrow i really want to forget about it but I just know ill be symptom spotting like crazy

@robodo I know I think im going to be going stir crazy in about a week, I hope I'm not! I'm so glad I haven't got the journey on my own and then we will be supporting @RBCoxie on the same journey :-)

@MummyToPrince yeah, I'm going by the PreMom app this month as it seems a little more accurate compared to last month. My OPK this afternoon went up by 0.01 😂 last month I got a really sudden peak so I'm not expecting a gradual increase tbf! Haha really excited for you and @robodo - symptom spotting is always going to be so hard. Couldn't be more thankful that we have this group! x

@Supermathsdoc I'm the same with trying something new every month. Smoking quit date is on Wednesday. Doing that scheme with the pharmacy (if they are still open), then starting running. Kick my ass if I don't! Need to lose some weight before baby sticks I think.

Anyone else's partner have a really stupid last name? None of my favourite baby names work. So been having fun thinking about that.

So I'd thought the planets had aligned this month with my peak days most likely falling over the weekend. And then completely forgot that I'm on call tomorrow night 🤦‍♀️ So can everyone please pray to the on call Gods? (Random sacrifices also appreciated) Because I've got something slinky in the drawer which needs to make an appearance! 🤣

@MummyToPrince 😂😂 oh my husband knows ALL the gory details - I walked into our bedroom last night with him holding pre-seed bottle in one hand and the applicator 'syringe' in the other and he was like 'right so how do I do this?!' I absolutely killed myself laughing 😂 speaking of EWCM - I've just been to pee and I have it!! Quite a lot of it too. Couldn't believe it! My OPKS are still low but still, YAY!

@RBCoxie @MummyToPrince Thanks guys, I really hope this is going to be a good month for us. There's no chance of a 6 am quicky I'm afraid, it's as much as we can do to pour coffee successfully at that time! 🙄
