I'm sat here like a dickhead still trying to convince myself that i could be pregnant! I'm as good as a chocolate condom in this TWW!!

@MummyToPrince yeah I've been having the same symptoms - I think it's just AF coming up now 😔 I've been trying to keep myself as busy as possible with work today. Hasn't really helped tbh! Omg the chocolate condom made me laugh out loud 😂 I needed that today, thank you! 😂 I've been doing the same this evening - I just need AF to show now to put me out of my misery!

Imworthit · 01/10/2020 17:55

If admitting the crazy helps anyone, I lit a candle at mass and bought a conception madalliin this month..... Not even Catholic.... or religious 😂🤣😂

MummyToPrince · 01/10/2020 17:57

@RBCoxie it's so hard to stay on track isn't it! My cramps have gone I feel wet and keep running to the toilet and there's nothing just lotion type CM and sore boobs! 😂 No need to thank me it's the truth 😂 TMI warning but I might DTD tonight and see if that brings af on, my OH said to test again Monday if af hasn't arrived but I'm unsure whether I want to waste a test! I want af to show so I can then accept it and go on to the next month x

Just sat here waiting for AF to raise her head (due today). Period cramps 2 days ago. DPO14 today (CD30). BFN yesterday (not fmu).

RBCoxie · 01/10/2020 18:17

@MummyToPrince it's so difficult!! I am exactly the same! I was on a call earlier and was getting really stressed because I thought I felt something and had AF had arrived - nope, nothing, just lotion CM! I might test again if AF is late, but only if it's 2+ days late I think. The OH is out tonight so I've treated myself to a Chinese takeaway - enough to feed this whole group I think 😂 x

Supermathsdoc · 01/10/2020 21:17

I’ve had very similar today, increasing intensity of cramps and mood is even worse than yesterday. AF was supposed to be today so I guess might be tomorrow.

I’m with your OH @MummyToPrince if I was 2D late I would test again.... but obviously totally understand if it feels like wasting a test and encouraging more disappointment, there are no right answers sadly!

RBCoxie · 01/10/2020 22:06

@Imworthit I've just seen your message! It really did make me laugh. It was the ...or religious bit that got me 😂😂 thanks for the giggles tonight!! x

MummyToPrince · 02/10/2020 07:48

Was hoping to wake up with AF this morning but nope just these sore puppies on my chest! No cramps either :-/ hopefully she appears soon... How's everyone this morning? 🌺

OP posts:
RBCoxie · 02/10/2020 08:32

@MummyToPrince when were you due AF again? I haven't got any symptoms this morning. Boobs are fine, no cramping, nipples are fine! Really odd considering how sore they were a few days ago.

SparklePrincesss · 02/10/2020 08:56

Morning!! Sorry I wasn't on yesterday, af was knocking the clots out of me 🙈😫 sorry TMI 🤪🙈 Judging by what's lacking in my cup I'm guessing af has ended and I'm in the dregs of spotting today. So af only lasted 2 days, is this an old person thing? My periods used to last 7 days and be medium 😬 Maybe that's why I had so many new symptoms, af was gearing me up to feel like I was in premature labour with placenta abruption again, never felt so ill before.

So now I've put you all off your breakfast... where are you all, has anyone tests due? Yes I've written this before reading so apologies if you've already answered my question 🙈 Baby dust to you allllllll ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨

MummyToPrince · 02/10/2020 09:07

@RBCoxie my app says I'm due Sunday but I naturally assumed it would be early as I ovulated early, I've only got minor sore boobs no cramps or anything.. Maybe af is sneaking up on us!

@SparklePrincesss 😂😂 my af is between 2 - 5 days hope you are feeling better 🧡

RBCoxie · 02/10/2020 09:31

@MummyToPrince ah same! I've learned this month that I have absolutely no idea what's going on with my body 😂 I'm an emotional wreck today - already cried once and got irrationally angry about work and it's only 9:30 😂 I just want the next cycle to start now. No testing early. Determined!!

RBCoxie · 02/10/2020 09:33

@SparklePrincesss sorry my message sent before I wrote out a reply to you! So sorry to hear your AF was like that - it sounds horrible! At least you're onto your next cycle now! Any tips & tricks you're going to try this month? x

Supermathsdoc · 02/10/2020 09:48

So sorry to hear you guys are having such awful cycles. It’s like a double whammy - the disappointment of no BFP and then the vengeance of AF!

I also seem to be late and my cramps have stopped which is odd. This is my longest cycle (31 days now) since I started monitoring (4 months) and it’s either my age or the supplements or both! But I’m tempted to stop them....

I’m mostly thinking about how I can optimise my chances next month, but the lack of AF has me imaging a scenario where I get a miracle BFP. Total headf*ck.

BettyM90 · 02/10/2020 10:03

@Supermathsdoc when is AF due? X

Supermathsdoc · 02/10/2020 10:13

@BettyM90 it was due on the first so I think will come any minute... but even the 30th made it a very long cycle for me. Before I started TTC and taking supplements my cycles were 28-29 days with 5 days AF.

But I don’t know if this sort of cycle change is ‘better’ ‘worse’ or makes no difference in terms of chances of conceiving ....

BettyM90 · 02/10/2020 10:24

@Supermathsdoc have you done a test (sorry not really kept up with the past few day’s conversation) It’s confusing when cycles seem to keep changing length x

BettyM90 · 02/10/2020 10:24

I’ve seen quite a few people mention that supplements also have an impact on their cycle too? X

RBCoxie · 02/10/2020 12:28

@Supermathsdoc what supplements are you taking? I've heard some of the 'all in one' vitamins can lengthen cycles - no idea what impact that has on TTC though! I'm just taking folic acid and vitamin d separately. I know exactly what you mean though, you can't help but wonder whether a BFP will magically appear when AF hasn't arrived!

Really struggling today - I stupidly kept the test where I saw the faint line and it's 100% still there 😔 think I'd find this easier if I never saw a line to begin with!

RBCoxie · 02/10/2020 13:40

Has anyone had any experience with trying the SMEP method and/or using Pre-Seed? All thoughts and opinions welcome! x

MummyToPrince · 02/10/2020 14:10

@RBCoxie I know exactly how you feel about the line on the tests, I've been the same since my faint one, keep thinking it will just be a miracle 🤦‍♀️

I haven't done any of those but I think this month Im going to use opks and DTD the day leading up and everyday until I'm no longer ovulating 😂😂

OP posts:
Supermathsdoc · 02/10/2020 14:11

@BettyM90 I did do a test, sadly BFN on the day AF was due and I’m pretty sure about when I ovulated as I’m using OPK tests..... doesn’t stop my imagination running away with itself though!

@RBCoxie The seven seas pre conception ones, I bought 3m worth and am on my last month so I’m thinking to just stop taking them and try Florex for Iron and folate on it’s own.

I use pre seed but I’m using a donor so I’m not sure it’s the same...

BettyM90 · 02/10/2020 14:44

@Supermathsdoc oh no, sorry that you got a BFN :(
I’m so confused by the whole process to be honest and starting to get a little down about it. Today was my 11th day of flashing smileys on CB advanced. I’ve just a cheapie boots OPK and there was only one line so now I’m thinking...WTF?! 🤯 x

RBCoxie · 02/10/2020 15:37

@MummyToPrince it's hard right? Yeah I'm definitely using OPKs this month - we have a similar plan for DTD, basically every day in the fertile week and the day after ovulation. I think I might try pre-seed as I didn't have any EWCM this month so hopefully that will help.

@Supermathsdoc yeah sounds like a good plan! I've seen a few other people say similar about the vits - may as well give it a go, folic acid is definitely the main one they suggest so I think as long as you're taking that then it's fine
