Anyone else in or around the time frame as me?

I'm still not due til Monday so refusing to test! Have mild cramps and so moody but last time my boobs grew a size - or felt like they did! And no sign of that so guessing it's all pms. Only going to test if AF doesn't arrive Monday because while I don't know either way for certain it's a nice thought to have! Has anyone in this group had a BFP?Also I was just wondering if anyone could help me with a few of the acronyms?! What is CM? Opk? And pre seed ? Thanks!!

@proteacat I think that's a very wise thing to do! I wish I'd done that this month! 😂 of course, so...

CM is cervical mucus (sometimes people use EWCM for Egg White Cervical Mucus as this is what people look for around ovulation!).

OPK is Ovulation Predictor Kits

Pre-Seed is a type of lubricant used to mimic fertile CM so claims to help those that don't produce enough fertile CM.

@BettyM90 I have read a few people not getting on with the CB digital. For me it’s easier to look at a line and see it getting gradually darker but I think definitely use each cycle to work out what works for you.

I use the one step ones and the come in different sensitivities 20, 30 and 40 so you could experiment with them and see which one show up your LH surge best. Also as you monitor more cycles it gets easier I think.

Disclaimer: I’m still learning and havnt worked it out otherwise I’d be showing you all my BFP!

I can't remember who was asking about SMEP, but you can download the booklet off Amazon for free which is a good read. It requires a frequency of sex which we are yet to achieve! I've used pre seed because it's not too expensive and it might help, well at least it wont hurt.

Full disclaimer, I totally lost my shit yesterday. Like big style. I got my period and the hormonal mess combined with dissapointment led to me sobbing over a ruined sheet and that I had run out of vanish. I was full on begging my husband not to go to work, and I finally stopped crying around lunchtime. Full on bat shit crazy! (Some semblance of normality has resumed today, honest!)

@BellaBella84 I think it’s totally legit to lose your shit. This stuff is so hard and sometimes I think if you don’t release your emotions in some way it can be worse in the long term.

AF arrived for me just now, but at least now I can enjoy a Friday night wine guilt free. Tomorrow I will focus on my next cycle....

AF is literally crippling me today, it's never been so bloody painful! Feels like I've got a cactus in there!

@BellaBella84 ah thanks for the info about SMEP! I think we may try it next month and pre-seed. It's genuinely fine to lose your shit! It's such an emotional time and everything feels heightened at the moment so don't feel guilty for a second!

@MummyToPrince sorry to hear about your AF too 😔 as you say, at least it wasn't late and you can now focus on the next cycle! How long does your AF normally last? Hot water bottle may help?!

Definitely doing opks this month as Ovia and flow have 2 different ovulation dates for me this month and are a week apart from each other 😂

@MummyToPrince ah okay so hopefully not too long! 🤞🏼 Good idea to use OPKs as well as that will show which app is more accurate!!

Okay. So. Don't laugh - I'm aware I'm a testing psychopath but I officially have no more tests in the house so I WILL NOT test again 😂 but I took my final FRER today and it came up with a faint line again, took my only CB one as well which showed negative before and I can see a faint line. Very aware I've been in this situation before not that long ago, so once again, not getting my hopes up 😂 I don't know why I do this to myself. At least I'm now in control of no more tests! 😂

So me - I'm 11DPO and I have cramping, no sore breasts (but im normally REALLY sore before AF so this is the opposite for me!) nausea (slightly) and moody as hell!

Took CB digital this morning - BFN but having read this thread I may be too early?

For some reason the image won't attach.. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I took two clear blue early tests and got faint lines on both. Still not actually late so will test again in a few days 😅

@proteacat wish I could see the pic but huge congrats! How many DPO are you? That's fab news!!! What test did you use?

@MontyFALD thank you! I supposedly ovulated on 19th so 14dpo. I used the early results clear blue triple pack. Took the two earlies and gonna use the digital one in a few days when my period is actually late - just to be sure..

Never too late to join this group - we're a supportive bunch! 😂 thank you so much - I'm 14 DPO today - as you'll have seen, I was in this position earlier this week and then the next few tests were clear BFNs so who knows what will happen over the next few days! I'm feeling fine! No symptoms at all - my sore boobs have disappeared, I just have what feels like a million spots on my face - attractive! I'd say 11DPO is still early, especially if you're not using an early test - the normal Clear Blue digital has a sensitivity of 25mlU whereas the First Response early is 6.3mlU & Clear Blue early is around 10mlU. Is this baby number 1 for you?

I'm glad that there's still hope for me! I've ordered some FR tests on Amazon hoping they turn up soon! I have a short cycle so strangely I am due today 11DPO but nothing, and this limbo is horrid! X

Oh @RBCoxie Even I (the most cynical of cynic faces) would agree that two faint lines on different brands at 14 DPO is unlikely to be a coincidence. And you've got no tests in the house to feed your testing addiction, now is not the time to go cold turkey! If you order them online it will force you to wait a couple of days maybe?
