Hi ladies. Positive OPK today I believe. Now the wait begins!

Who's with me this month?!

CD14 for me and I expect my peak on CD17. DTD on CD7,9,11,12 & 14 and also plan to DTD on 16 & 17 & 18 but will change that if the OPK doesn’t peak when expected! AF is due around 6th for me. I had a early miscarriage in July and tomorrow was my booked 12 week scan so feeling a little sad but hoping for our rainbow soon, this is cycle 5 for us and TTC baby number 1. My cycles are usually 28-30 days but it was 40 days after my MC so I’m hoping this cycle is a little more “normal”. Good luck xx

@Ruthsoph hi love! It's my first month using OPKS, using ovaview ICs. Got a strong line today after a 3 day gradual surge. I'll attach a pic of today's!

I got my positive opk today so I’m joining in 😁 but I also got a positive opk on 31st July but didn’t ovulate that time, so hopefully will happen this time 🤞🏼

Also worth noting if I hadn't used these OPKs and use the apps which I have previously (silly I know) I would have missed ov by a week as they tell me I'm due to ov a week from now!

@Emmaemma23 well I’m not actually sure haha I came off my pill 3rd July but haven’t had a proper period yet, just spotting here and there. So I’m just winging it at this point 😂

Due ovulation any day now 😍 OPKs are coming back with high just waiting for my peak to come! DTD every other day at the moment, but AF due on 8th!

@Emmaemma23 when do you start testing using those sticks - one app is telling fine 28th and one is say 30th as fertile time and are you doing 2 a day? Sorry for all the questions but I just want to get right x

@Ruthsoph I’d starting testing a few days before I’m supposed to ovulate, so for you I’d say from about 25th, as you never know you might ovulate at a different time than what your app says. Test once every day (try do them the same time each day and don’t use first wee) until you notice a peak and then test a couple times on the day you get a peak, and then continue testing once a day for a few days after your peak. Just because you get a peak by the way doesn’t mean you ovulate (which is what happened to me) so your body might try again in a few days time, so that’s why you should keep testing after your initial peak x

@Nam095 thank you - when you say peak do you mean the darker the line gets ?

@Ruthsoph yep, it’s only positive (your peak) once the test line is as dark or darker than the control line, like mine yesterday. You ovulate around 24hrs after the peak ☺️ x

I stand corrected! Definitely got a clearer positive today. Must be the day! Weird for me as I've had OV pain since Monday.. but let's see how this pans as I've been using my body's signs previously to help me determine where I'm at (ov pain)
@Ruthsoph I started with the OPKS on CD11 which I know is early but I had already started to feel OV pains. On reflection I had a couple of false positives (not quite dark enough) so possibly my body was trying to ovulate but was unsuccessful. I have a clear clear positive today though so fingers crossed! Wait begins x

@Emmaemma23 yeah I’m temping, it rose today so that’s a good sign that I potentially ovulated yesterday. Just hope it stays elevated, can’t emotionally deal with another failed ovulation 😔 are you thinking of temping?

@Emmaemma23 I will do 😊 Im still getting used to using OPKs I could have possibly ovulated on day 14 or 15 as my OPK line showed to be quite dark and my temp dipped then shot up! I just keep testing everyday on the OPKs just incase 🙈

@Jemmy94... well I have found it interesting learning about my body at least I can tie my sore boobs each month to ovulation now 🤣
But otherwise trying not to over panic and worry and stress when we so desperately want this...
