Thank you!! I’ve got the day off work and it’s nice and sunny here so going to go off for a nice walk. DH is at work because I only decided last minute to take it off. But, it means I get to watch some horrendous programmes later 😂 xx

Hahaha! This has made me laugh out loud here @Carefree1, it sounds like my perfect birthday (well, a spa and some Italian or Greek food would be perfect too!) When DH is out I watch some really crap TV, like ITVBe RHOBH or even Sam & Billie's mummy show, shocking I know 🙈 In my defence, it only happens once every six months probably! 🤣

@PurplePansy05 yes! First cycle of trying. Thankfully I’m usually quite lucky and fall within one or two cycles. It’s staying pregnant that’s the problem for me. Fingers crossed for a rainbow 🤞🏻

@PurplePansy05 well it turned out DH didn’t go to work, he came back to the house whilst I was walking with mum and covered the place in balloons, had sections of non alcoholic drinks from some favourite holidays etc. So was really sweet!

I finally got my 12 week appointment come through for 3rd February, so I’m not going to book anything in for this week xx

That's great you have your scan sorted, we're so close again, mine is on the 2nd 😊 That's good we'll get it done and hopefully all will be ok.

I've been looking at maternity bras and clothing online because I'm filling up now, but I'm still reluctant, it's this anxiety at the back of my head. Then I read some stories of later loss on MN which are very unhelpful, big mistake right now!!! But it's my anxiety showing it's ugly face again, this horrible worry that something might go wrong again. Today I have to work hard to ground myself that these things are really rare, there's usually a reason for them and that I'm doing everything possible to prevent them. I need to give my head a wobble xx

Oh no! Get yourself out of that black hole, it’s so so unlikely that anything will happen. You’ve done and will continue to do all the right things to keep bub safe. Hope you’re able to take your mind off of it.

Ahh I've had no symptoms at all in the last few days. I'm freaking out a bit now and still a week to wait for my scan :(

Oh @PurplePansy05 sorry you’re feeling like this! It sounds totally normal as it’s likely that the placenta has taken over now; which is why you’re feeling ‘better’. Just got to get through one more week, which you can absolutely do as you’ve got through 7/8 already! Xx

Gosh @Carefree1 you're coping so well, I really admire your stoicism. I'm just on the edge of an emotional freakout here, if I could sleep through this entire week, I would! How are you feeling? Xx

I don’t blame you @PurplePansy05! It is tough waiting. We just need to get through it as best we can.
I’m doing ok, just trying to ignore everything pregnancy related until next week. I’m practically in denial. I’ve literally seen so many lone magpies recently and googled that and pregnancy loss 🤦‍♀️ So I’m not entirely sane!! Xx

@Carefree1 I just had my Panorama results, the baby has low risk of all chromosomal issues and microdeletions (meaning it's extremely unlikely to happen) which is fantastic news. Big relief. Of course still waiting for the scan, will update tomorrow. I feel exactly the same as you, just wish I could hibernate. Work isn't busy this week either, annoyingly! Let's breathe together...

Also...it's a boy 💙💙💙 Our little son! Xxx

Hey @Carefree1! He is fine 💙 Wriggling lots again and even gave us a wave today 😂 Clearly taken the glamour after his mother 😂

I'm exhausted. The appointment was really long, I was all flustered with my bag, scarf, notes and urine sample (I hate them!!!) but I got through it. I had to book my follow up appointments then, ordered maternity clothes and told family and friends. I'm absolutely exhausted. Great day altogether but I just want to go to bed now! Luckily I took a day off, I honestly would not do anything in work today 😂 I'm keeping everything crossed for you now 😘 xxx

Hey @PurplePansy05, my mumsnet posting is not great this evening, god knows what I’m doing 😂

Scan went really well 💗. Like you though, I’m exhausted after this afternoon. All the built up anxiety and I found it so emotional.

Little babe wouldn’t stay still just jumping around and putting arms behind their head 😂. They just wouldn’t play ball as they were right at the back, back to front and upside down. The sonographer kept bouncing me, getting me to move, but I guess it’s like me and stubborn 😂. I’ve attached a photo of them all squished 🥰
