Thanks @apapuchi. We may be a bit further along, but the anxiety is still there and I suspect it won't leave me till the end. It's helpful to huddle up together with people who understand it though 😊 xx

apapuchi · 08/01/2021 16:30

Oh of course, @PurplePansy05 I can imagine the worry never quite goes away, no matter the weeks or months that have passed (hopefully!) uneventfully! Wishing you both happy and health pregnancies, and that the same happens for everyone else here, too.

❤️

PurplePansy05 · 08/01/2021 17:34

And same to you @apapuchi, whenever you feel low or just want to chat, we're here to support each other ❤

Carefree1 · 09/01/2021 17:08

It’s funny how close we are @PurplePansy05. I’m not too concerned about being 5 behind, because I know I ovulated around 19th/20th so dates are about right.
Midwife really went at my arm for my bloods and it wouldn’t stop bleeding. I took a plaster off yesterday and when I looked at it I nearly passed out 😂 had to call my mum to come up because I thought I’d gone!

Carefree1 · 09/01/2021 17:09

Thank you @apapuchi! Tentative congratulations to you too. Do stay and keep us up to date, it’s good to have support of those who know how you feel x

PurplePansy05 · 09/01/2021 17:15

Oh yeah, same here @Carefree1, I know I usually ovulate few days later than the standard day 14. I felt awful yesterday, was nearly sick for the first time, but ok today. In fact no symptoms today so I've cracked on with cleaning and decluttering. Will do a bit more tomorrow. How are you feeling today? Re blood, it makes me faint too, I know the feeling! Xx

Carefree1 · 10/01/2021 17:51

I’m feeling ok thanks @PurplePansy05, just seem to be nauseous on and off. I think I’d prefer to be sick at this point.
How are you feeling about your scan tomorrow? I’ll be thinking of you xx

PurplePansy05 · 10/01/2021 17:56

Hi @Carefree1, thanks a lot ❤

I'm ok today, only had a slight wave of nausea once in the afternoon, but I'm ok otherwise. I had a really lazy day binging on Bridgerton on Netflix 🙈 But also managed a 40 min walk first thing this morning. Had beige food all day today too, not very successful!

I'm calm now, but I think the nerves will hit me tomorrow morning big time.

How was your weekend? Xx

Carefree1 · 10/01/2021 20:46

I’ve heard a lot of good things about Bridgerton, might have to put it on the list.

I’ve had a lovely weekend thank you, went for a nice long walk yesterday and had a fairly laid back one today and made Welsh cakes xx

Slk3558 · 11/01/2021 14:48

Hi everyone hope you don’t mind if I join. My sorry is I’ve just been diagnose with a missed miscarriage I’m supposed to be 7 weeks but it stopped at 5 weeks. I’ve been spotting for nearly a week. I want to TTC as soon as I ovulate. From your experience those that had early mmc’s, how long does it take to pass the sac naturally or with medically managed option? Would really appreciate your experiences xx

Slk3558 · 11/01/2021 14:49

My story**^

Starfish762 · 11/01/2021 15:24

@PurplePansy05 I’ve been thinking of you all day. Any news?

Starfish762 · 11/01/2021 15:25

@Slk3558 so sorry for your loss. I had an MVA procedure in hosp (while awake) so it was all done then for me, not pleasant but not as traumatic as expected. Sorry I can’t comment other than that. Sending love ❤️

PurplePansy05 · 11/01/2021 15:41

@Starfish762 @Carefree1 Flowers Thank you.

Here is my not so little baby Purple, doing very well, midwife said measuring 9+1, but it was curled up throughout the scan so we couldn't get an accurate measurements. I'm 9+2 today so it's all fine 💜💜💜 What a relief! My scan was delayed by an hour, longest hour in my life as you can imagine!

Another milestone, hopefully now onto 12 week scan 💜 xxx

@PurplePansy05 YEYYYY! Congratulations! So pleased for you xx

PurplePansy05 · 11/01/2021 15:42

Enjoy your Welsh cakes @Carefree1, I love them! xxx

PurplePansy05 · 11/01/2021 15:42

Thank you so much @Starfish762 🥰

Carefree1 · 11/01/2021 16:21

Hi @Slk3558, sorry for your loss Flowers I also had an MVA, recovery was really quick. I waited a cycle to start TTC again after. I had to take a test 3 weeks after to make sure it’s negative. I hope you’re on the road to recovery soon x.

@PurplePansy05 that’s amazing news!! 💗So happy for you, I bet you’re on cloud 9. It’s amazing how big baby seems now isn’t it! Amazing💗. Are you still going for harmony in between? X

PurplePansy05 · 11/01/2021 16:39

@Carefree1 Thank you 😄 I said the same to DH, the difference between 6 and 9 week scan is incredible, the baby has multiplied in size and seems huge now! I still can't quite believe it's my baby and that my chances that it's going to be ok are now objectively very good, it's as if this was happening to someone else. So strange xxx

PurplePansy05 · 11/01/2021 16:41

And yes my Panorama test is booked for Thursday next week. They do a scan before the blood test so hopefully we'll get to see the little bean looking good and healthy again 🤞 xxx

Hopefulmummie · 11/01/2021 16:46

Hi everyone.. hope it's ok for me to join. I had a miscarriage 6 weeks ago at 8 weeks. Bleeding stopped a week later and we DTD a couple of times before ovulation.. weren't overly ttc again.
So looking some reassurance I still haven't had a period. It's been 2 weeks since I ovulated as I was tracking so decided to take a pregnancy test just to see... And I'm getting lines 🙈 quite a faint line on the clear blue but darker on the strip..... I dunno if I want to believe I'm pregnant again?? eeeek. Attached a pic

PurplePansy05 · 11/01/2021 16:55

@Hopefulmummie You're definitely pregnant! Gentle congratulations ❤

I understand you had a negative pregnancy test after your MC and then you ovulated?

Hopefulmummie · 11/01/2021 16:59

@PurplePansy05 I had a negative test but I remember the line was still slightly there but so so faint. These lines are far darker so can't see how that could happen after 4 weeks? Part of me is doubting it it's from previous pregnancy but maybe just being paranoid.
Yes I ovulated 2 weeks ago so technically period should be due now

PurplePansy05 · 11/01/2021 17:01

@Slk3558 Hello and welcome! I'm so sorry for your loss Flowers

I had two missed miscarriages, at 10 and 13 weeks. Both times it took weeks on end and nothing happened naturally, one pregnancy the baby stopped developing around 6 weeks, another was blighted ovum so the baby hasn't progressed at all. So I wouldn't recommend waiting, it may drive you insane.

I had medical management after my first MMC and personally I would never do it again. It was discovered after the event that I'm hypersensitive or allergic to misoprostol which is what they give you to speed up the process. It was truly horrendous for me. It doesn't happen this way for everyone at all, I am absolutely not saying this, but if you read experiences across MN, a lot of them aren't great with medical management. I think mine was particularly bad though tbh.

I had MVA after my second missed miscarriage and I'd choose it over and above any other method. Have you been given that option?

Ask away, we're all sadly very experienced with miscarriage on here xx

PurplePansy05 · 11/01/2021 17:03

@Hopefulmummie Oh yes, in that case it's pretty certain it's a new pregnancy. How are you feeling about it?
