Well, I'm out for this month. AF came today as expected. On to cycle 3 after my MMC now.

Carefree1 · 13/01/2021 12:39

Hi @PurplePansy05, thank you for your wise words. I’m just an awful pessimist in general. DH is the total opposite, he see’s the positive in everything.

It feels like reassurance is miles off, but I’m reluctant to have a scan soon because my birthday next week and don’t want to deal with it then iyswim.

I’ve not been, sometimes I use this paint by numbers app when I’m struggling to switch off, so I think I might invest in an adult colouring book.

@Hopefulmummieim glad your GP is actioning that for you, hopefully they’ll scan you soon. Otherwise, would you look to have one private? Fingers crossed for you!

Sorry to hear that @KeepSmiling89, fingers crossed this cycle for you
Xx

PurplePansy05 · 13/01/2021 15:11

Ahh, @KeepSmiling89 sorry it wasn't a BFP cycle, but you're already on Day 1 of the new cycle which may bring you BFP. Not long to go now! Treat yourself and relax now. A cheeky gin is in order, too.

@Carefree1 I have some nice floral ones and various patterns from Amazon, I enjoy them too.

I totally see why you don't want another scan now if it's your birthday week, I wouldn't do that either. Tbh we're now close to 12 weeks so hopefully we'll just get there and past that stage now. Personally if it wasn't for the fact they do a viability scan before you spend £££ on Panorama, I wouldn't be having another one and would wait now, it isn't that long. To me, it's the 6 week scan that really broke up the first trimester into two shorter periods, I'd always have it going forward. Xx

Carefree1 · 14/01/2021 09:19

You’re right, I’m hoping it’s not that much longer until 12 week scan. I’ve not had mine through yet, have you @PurplePansy05? Xx

PurplePansy05 · 14/01/2021 09:36

No, I haven't even had my booking appointment yet. So annoyed. Will have to chase again! @Carefree1 xx

PurplePansy05 · 16/01/2021 11:07

Morning, how is everyone doing today?xx

Carefree1 · 16/01/2021 15:06

Afternoon @PurplePansy05! I’ve been having a bit of a wobble the last couple of days. I woke up yesterday morning and my boobs didn’t hurt when I got up, so panicked. But today they did so feeling a bit better. How are you??

PurplePansy05 · 16/01/2021 15:31

@Carefree1 I got a migraine since last night, only just started feeling a bit better. Apart from that I can't tell I've had many symptoms at all. Feeling a bit sorry for myself as I'm trying not to take paracetamol at all, but it's been a struggle. Water, fresh air, a walk and then sitting in a dark room didn't help much. FWIW my boobs stop being tender a while ago, it's really rare now. Happy 10 weeks to us, double digits now! Xx

Carefree1 · 16/01/2021 15:59

Urgh sorry, migraines suck! Hope you’re back to normal soon. I think I was just over thinking, mine haven’t really been sore only when I get out of bed and then they’re fine.

Something odd I found when going through old paperwork, I got my MVA discharge letter. On there it said POC sent for histology, but I don’t remember having a conversation about this and certainly heard no more. I also didn’t read through it before. I don’t know who to ask about it 🤷‍♀️

Yes, happy double digits SmileXx

PurplePansy05 · 16/01/2021 16:03

Mine was sent too and I had a letter from the OB-GYN Department of my local hospital. I would be ringing your EPU first to enquire and also check with your GP, they should receive a copy of the letter too. Even if the results were inconclusive, they should gave written to you. Definitely worth checking @Carefree1 xx

Carefree1 · 16/01/2021 18:05

Thanks @PurplePansy05, I’ll check, perhaps it was a mistake on the paperwork. Hopefully we receive our scan dates this week! Xx

PurplePansy05 · 18/01/2021 12:16

@Carefree1 I've finally had my booking appointment, wooo! Midwife was v nice. I have her phone no and email and I've now rang the hospital to book myself in for the 12 week scan. It's happening on 2 Feb!

In the meantime, the private clinic rang me to say DH won't be allowed at my Panorama scan & test this week which is a shame. But hopefully he'll still be ok to come to the 12 week NHS scan assuming everything is ok and we proceed.

The midwife suggested a good app called Bounty, don't know if you've heard of it? It has some good features, effectively your online appointment diary, some useful info and lots of discounts for expecting and new mums. Pretty handy! How are you feeling? I've been having lots of stretches to the right of my uterus, weirdly only on one side. Apart from that, I seem to be feeling better overall. Not sure if it's something to worry about or a good sign of placenta taking over? Xx

Carefree1 · 18/01/2021 12:36

Ahh that’s brilliant @PurplePansy05! I’m glad she was lovely. Glad you’ve been able to get in for your 12 week scan. I need to chase mine again this week.

Sorry to hear that DH can’t come to panorama, but it’s good he can go to your NHS scan. Is your panorama Thursday? Sorry, I’m having a moment!

Oh that’s handy, I might have a look once I get passed the 12 week mark. All of our notes are online now and shows our appointments, but it’s a bit hit and miss whether it works!

That’s good, I’m sure it’s nothing to worry about and is the placenta taking over. I’ve been feeling a lot better too, except my back is sore and a few cramps here and there. I’m just trying to ignore things now unless I hear news either way xx

PurplePansy05 · 18/01/2021 12:49

I think that's the right approach, let's try not to overthink for the next few weeks, you're right.

Yes, it's my Panorama this week and then NHS scan on 2.02. I'd chase yours if you haven't had your letter yet, although I must say I was v worried mine would be delayed till say 13/14 wks cause it's getting late, but actually it is fine, luckily 12+3.

It's handy your notes are online, I was told I'd be given mine at the 12 week scan, hardcopy. Xx

Carefree1 · 18/01/2021 20:41

Yes, I’ll give them another call this week. When I spoke to them last week they said they hadn’t processed it and they’re processing closer to 12 weeks.

I’m debating booking a scan for next week if mines still going to be a way off, I don’t think I can wait another 3/4 weeks to know xx

PurplePansy05 · 18/01/2021 20:49

Yes, that's understandable. I'd find out first when your NHS scan is though, it might be close to 12 weeks. I'd think they should tell you now, it's a week and a half late and they should be going by your LMP anyway so deffo closer to when you're actually going to be 12 weeks. If they make you wait longer then yes I'd book a private one, also perhaps so they could take the measurements sooner. I think 14 weeks is a cut off plus obviously too long to wait!

Is it your birthday this week? Xx

PurplePansy05 · 18/01/2021 20:50

*week and a half left not late!

Carefree1 · 19/01/2021 07:30

Exactly. Going by LMP I’m 11+1, so it’s really pushing it now and I’d hate to wait closer to 14 weeks just to know!

Yes, it’s my birthday Friday, otherwise I think I would have booked another scan by now because it was around this time that it all happened before. But, I’ve booked the day off and will make the most of it, hopefully get out for a nice walk - I never thought I’d have a lockdown birthday, naively thought we’d be clear! Xx

Carefree1 · 21/01/2021 08:57

Good luck at your panorama @PurplePansy05, hope it goes well x

PurplePansy05 · 21/01/2021 21:12

I wrote the whole post and my phone has crashed when I was trying to attach the photo!

Good news @Carefree1, the baby is fine and looked lovely! Very active tonight, swimming happily all over the place in my uterus! Lovely to see 😊 Fingers crossed for good blood test results and onto my 12 week scan now! Xx

PurplePansy05 · 21/01/2021 21:17

Here is my baby Purple 💜🌈 Measuring ahead now, 10+6! My friends think it's a boy and that's my guess too, I keep referring to "him" in my head! Panorama results will tell us the sex. If he keeps growing so fast then I'll definitely need a C-section 😂 Xx

Starting TTC again after missed miscarriage part two
Carefree1 · 21/01/2021 21:39

Ahh @PurplePansy05 that’s amazing, so pleased baby purple’s doing so well! So lovely, looks so like a baby now 💗.
That’s lovely you’ll know the sex so early on, it’s amazing how you’ve got a gut feeling. Not long to go until you see him again xx

PurplePansy05 · 21/01/2021 21:42

@Carefree1 It's really weird, but I don't have a gut feeling, I just keep using male pronouns randomly! And then I read some theories online which are BS no doubt and I figured out the baby looks more like a boy. Then my friends say the same! Well, we'll find out soon enough, it's probably a girl 😂 xx

PurplePansy05 · 22/01/2021 06:11

Happy birthday @Carefree1! FlowersCake

I hope you have a lovely, relaxing day! Are you treating yourself to anything nice? 😊 xxx

DoodleLovin · 22/01/2021 08:13

Hi everyone! DP and I are officially getting on the TTC train again!
Had 2 miscarriages last year- one was spontaneous at 6 weeks, the other one a few months later was a MMC at 12 weeks. After weeks of intense bleeding, I had my final hospital visit this week and got given the all clear.
So it begins again....
