TWW - anyone want to join?

Hey guys

Is anyone else in the TWW and want to join me in desperately trying not to test 😂

Currently 4DPO in cycle 9 of TTC, and frantically googling when is the absolute earliest I can test, driving myself insane!

How's everyone else finding the TWW at the min? Lockdown is making it harder cause I'm home all day with all my tests 🤦‍♀️

@Jurassiclover I feel ok today. A bit of cramping here and there but sometimes I think I just imagine it. I have never tested, I won’t test until I’m a few days late, I don’t think I could get my hopes up then be disappointed with a BFN. I’m 7dpo too so think implantation could be happening any time.

@Jurassiclover I always tell myself to go to the cheapies first but then remember they are not as sensitive so unlikely to show anything even if I'm pregnant, so it's hard to resist the FRERs!

@Eppy123 can't believe you've managed to keep it from your other half so far 😆 I always involve mine in the test... well except for the times I'm testing too early on an IC of course as he'd only try to stop me haha.

I don't know if I'm just getting to the symptom spotting crazy time but I've been feeling SO bloated the last few days. My usually comfortable leggings are feeling tight and I've had gas for the last 2 days. Of course it could just be my body reacting to some food I've eaten lately 😂 but hoping it's something else. I've got 2 apps on the go with OPKs and one is showing 8 DPO, the other is saying I'm 9 DPO.

Still holding off until Friday morning for a test 🤞

Anyone else got any new symptoms this month? @Eppy123 have you had any symptoms, as you can probably tell us more since you've got the BFP!

@JTB123 what CD are you on? Hopefully you have OV and just hasn't been picked up on the OPKs!

@Bims2019 isn't it so tempting hahah! Yeah I think I'm going to try and leave it until Thursday which will be 9DPO, only cause I'm potentially drinking that day and want to know whether to not drink at all! If I get a BFN I'll still probably limit to 1/2 ciders. I'm also getting cramping! Here's hoping it is implantation! 🤞

@2020mission I do love a good FRER hahahah they do seem easier to read. Sometimes they're on offer in bulk on Amazon! Ooooh some good symptoms! Well done for holding off til Friday! Keeping my fingers crossed for you 🤞🤞🤞

@2020mission symptom wise I have been pretty gassy which is gross haha but I felt a bit bloated and had slight cramping around 5-7DPO (did test negative on day 7). Other than that not really - just sat down for a tea break at work though and feel nauseous but that could just be because I’m actually hungry haha!

I’m surprised at myself as I am bursting to tell my husband but I’m planning on Friday - we have been decorating the house so going to get a pink and blue tester pot and paint a little on the spare room wall (we were leaving this room as an untouched junk room until required!) and tell him we need to decorate quicker than planned hopefully!

@Jurassiclover CD18 today.... so if I get more more EWCM this week I'll just assume it's been and gone and hopefully I've caught it x

Does anyone else worry when DTD near implantation time? My husband just approached me at lunch for some action and now I can't help but worry I might have ruined our chance. It's because I read somewhere that intercourse around implantation time could result in uterine contraction, disrupting the process 😬 someone tell me that's not true please.

@2020mission Some things you read say it’s not good and some say it’s ok so who knows. I’ve read that you should be DTD every other day until AF comes. We’ve usually DTD so many times leading upto ovulation that I just can’t be bothered anymore and need a rest!!

I’m feeling a bit sicky now but think I’ve just ate too much chocolate, oops!

I am literally confused here according to my app I ovulated 3 days ago but didn’t get peak on my OPKs so have continued to use OPKs and got a peak result yesterday and today I mean the second line couldn’t get any darker in the picture what do yous think?

@2020mission I've read mixed views on that but honestly I think you'll be fine! I feel like surely if that was true then less people would end up PG who aren't properly trying as they would unknowingly be DTD during that time surely!

@Itisme90 oh that is confusing! I would say that you're due to ovulate now!

I was meant to hold off and not test til tomorrow but I have no will power and DP reckons he can see a shadow but I don't see it but I'm only 8DPO so still super early. How's everyone else doing?

@2020mission I'm sure it's fine, like others have said it's encouraged to DTD throughout our cycle :) I always get paranoid if I sleep badly in the tww or have a drink, even though I know it's probably not having an impact!

@Jurassiclover 🤞 for you testing tomorrow! I love cider, will be nice for you to enjoy a couple of it's a bfn. I usually have a drink or two on Fridays, so maybe I should test then... I'll be about 10dpo!

Anyone else not having many/ any symptoms? After having some cramps and bloating over the past few days, today I'm not feeling any different. Probably reading too much into it as it's still early, but can't help worrying!

@Jurassiclover just seen your post! 8dpo is still early, did you use a cheapie or a frer?

@Bims2019 over the past few days I've been feeling bloated too and have had tender boobs but both have eased today so might have been nothing. I've woke up needing a pee during the night for the last couple of nights... but again maybe I just drank more than usual in the evenings 😆 so hard to tell!

I'm with you on testing Friday (I'll be at around 11 DPO) because I usually have a couple of drinks on Friday nights to start the weekend and don't want to be doing that it anything has happened! It pains me to waste money but I think I'll have to use the FRER on Friday as I reckon a cheapie won't show a line at 11 DPO for me so could be a false negative if I went with that.

Hopefully we'll have some good news here in the next few days!

Day 21... Half way through the TWW!

Day 20 for me, 5dpo and I was feeling quite sick there... Might be because I was hungry but I don't usually feel sick when I'm hungry 🤷🏻‍♀️ must stop symptom spotting...

@Jurassiclover yeah I think I ovulated yesterday my OPKs weren’t as dark today not to worry I have been DTD most nights anyway just incase my DP isn’t complaining but he does think all this tracking is driving me mad which it probably is lol

@2020mission so with you on the wasting money, I try to resist using frers if possible but I guess that's what they're there for! We can have a Friday testing club 😁

I tend to have to get up to pee most nights, must have a tiny bladder😂 keep thinking that my boobs might be a bit tender but could easily be imagining it. This is what TTC does to us!

@Bims2019 was a cheapie, however just did a FRER with the encouragement of DP (why he encouraged this I do not know hahah) and I swear I see something

I'm with you guys saying you've not had many symptoms, I've had cramping and a little nausea and itchy nipples but that's been it which just doesn't seem a lot haha

I'm CD54 damn long cycles 😭 actually have an appointment tomorrow for a blood test to check hormone levels as I may have PCOS

I'll see if I can get a pic of my FRER and see if you guys can see the shadow too

I feel awful today only 5 DPO, really bad headache, fatigue always feel awful after ovulation
