TWW - anyone want to join?

Hey guys

Is anyone else in the TWW and want to join me in desperately trying not to test 😂

Currently 4DPO in cycle 9 of TTC, and frantically googling when is the absolute earliest I can test, driving myself insane!

How's everyone else finding the TWW at the min? Lockdown is making it harder cause I'm home all day with all my tests 🤦‍♀️

@Jurassiclover completely understand the testing every day - I always did that when I had the chemicals! I went and got the CB digital to see the word 'pregnant' and the number of weeks. Sadly never got passed the 1-2 weeks on the digital though. I'd stop if I got a 3+ on the digital. Good to see it's progressing well 😃

@2020mission sorry to hear that! I think that's my plan, once I see 3+ I'll stop testing i think hahaha

I dont know when to take another digi to see if I get my 2-3/3+ but todays line is very in your face woooo

Hi @kaffy197 I'm 8 DPO and having some symptoms. I'm due AF on 14th according to my app but this is my first month tracking ovulation so not 100% certain.

Thinking I'll wait until Friday at earliest to test if symptoms are still there and if not wait and see if AF comes.

Convinced myself I was pregnant last month as had a 2 day period which was so much lighter than normal but BFN a few days after period was due. Trying not to get disappointed this month!

My sister in law just sent me a box of 6 bottles of wine for Christmas, so at least I have those to work through if December's another BFN 😂 highly likely

@2020mission I've ran out of FRER but I'm contemplating getting more hahaha. I've got some digis left gonna give it a day or two and use another digi and hopefully I'll get 2-3 this time!

Hey @2020mission I'm okay. Had my first consultation with my GP today about fertility, just so I can get the ball rolling. Been told that fertility clinic referral has a waiting list of approximately 1 year 😭 But in the meantime I can get some tests done. Felt sooo weird speaking about TTC out loud to someone for the first time ever!

I'm now 9 days and due Thursday. I had convinced myself I was preg because my temperature was pretty high but I feel completely normal so I don't think so, if anything I have less aches than normal 😆 Also I did another strip test tonight which was negative.
I will be having some wine as soon as AF arrives!
How long have you been trying? It can be an exhausting time!

@acaciabluebell wow a year- like you say with the tests in between and carrying on trying hopefully it will fly by. Also will give you something to focus on. What did the GP say?

Hi @kaffy197 fingers crossed you can't have that wine! Maybe less symptoms than normal is a sign something different is going on!

I'm not due on until Monday but may test Friday just incase. I haven't been recording my temp but took it last night because I thought I might have implanted and it was pretty low. Will take again today.

@kaffy197 this is just my 3rd cycle with my partner. I have 2 children to my ex husband but my partner doesn't have any. How long have you been?

@acaciabluebell oh no, a year! Hopefully the tests the GP can do will help and you won't have to wait a year to progress with the fertility clinic 🤞 I'm going to have to go to the GP in January if it's BFN this month as that will be me at a year with no success. I'm almost 33 so don't feel like I have a lot of time to waste!

@Jurassiclover are you getting many early pregnancy symptoms? I think I was getting pain under my arms and more stretchy CM when I had the last chemical. I'm wondering if that was just me or if those are common early pregnancy symptoms.

@Carsbars haha- it's my work "virtual" Christmas party on the day my period is due so I will be testing tomorrow!

This is our fourth cycle- would be nice to be pregnant for Christmas - otherwise next fertile period is right over Christmas so will require some planning

I've also bought a whole host of vitamins following some things I've read on here so will start those if AF comes

@kaffy197 My work is supposed to be having drinks in the office on Friday! I'll only be 11 DPO by then though, so not sure I want to test then.

I stupidly did a test this afternoon and it was obviously a BFN so it's made me doubt things even though I'm only 9 DPO and it wasn't in the morning I did it.

Going to try and not test until I have missed a period from now on, find I'm getting to obsessive with symptoms/implantation. Just want to enjoy it!

@2020mission so far my symptoms have been cold/flu symptoms, some pelvic cramping, nausea, heart palpitations and insomnia

@Jurassiclover aww nausea already - I thought you'd be fine until about 6 weeks! Hope you're coping ok. Any annoying symptoms will all be worth it 😃

@2020mission I thought so too! Its not too bad really i think its more linked to the cold and flu than actual morning sickness yet tbh! Also the past few days my boobs have become so sore! My nipples are so sensitive I can't even wear a bra hahaha. Yeah will all be worth it in the end! Have you tested yet?

We have progression on the digi! I tested on the 6th of December and got 1-2, so happy to see that 2-3. I have no idea how long to wait before I try and get 3+ though

@Jurassiclover 🙌 one more next week for the 3+ and then you can relax haha. I haven't been tracking but I'd estimate im around 7 DPO. I'm not planning to test any time soon though as not confident it's happened this month and don't have many tests to spare 😆 . Did you have any symptoms when you first tested this cycle or was it a complete surprise?

@2020mission yep, I think DP will be happy for me to stop POAS hahahah. Ahhh you'll have to keep us updated when you do test! It was a complete surprise to be honest! Looking back I had a headache and some very slight nausea on the days before my BFP but whether that was related I'm not too sure! I got such a shock when I saw a positive because me and DP didn't really bother trying this month. We were supposed to be seeing the fertility team next month so we just DTD when ever we could be bothered this month, didnt track, didn't use pressed, I didnt even take folic acid 😳

@Jurassiclover that's interesting, the 2 times I had the chemicals we DTD less than usual too 😆 it was every other day. This month we DTD every second day. I've definitely given up on every day during the fertile window! I will let you know when I do test. Most likely the middle of next week... trying to hold off until AF is late so not to waste a test.

@Jurassiclover same thing happened with me in both my pregnancies... the times we didn't try it happened. Great to see the didgi xx
