TWW - anyone want to join?

Hey guys

Is anyone else in the TWW and want to join me in desperately trying not to test 😂

Currently 4DPO in cycle 9 of TTC, and frantically googling when is the absolute earliest I can test, driving myself insane!

How's everyone else finding the TWW at the min? Lockdown is making it harder cause I'm home all day with all my tests 🤦‍♀️

@Itisme90 no not spoke to a GP so far. I have a feeling they won't give me anything yet as I'm 9 months into TTC, under 35 (32) and have had 2 chemicals and not 3.

If it wasn't for the pandemic I probably would have tried to get an appointment to chat it through but it feels wrong right now in the current circumstances, if you know what I mean?

If I started aspirin now and got pregnant this month, I would call the maternity unit ASAP and tell them I had been taking it to check if I should stop or continue. There maybe is foods you can eat to try and improve blood flow/thin blood more... maybe I should look into those first 🤔 it's a tough one.

Hey @Itisme90 I'm just hitting ovulation day today so a long 2WW ahead for me. How about you? Was trying to chill and keep this month relaxed but covid and life is just stressing me out 😂 so not feeling confident about this cycle!

Also @Bims2019 haven't found low dose aspirin in any shops yet so not got any 😟 keeping my eyes peeled though!

@2020mission I am 11 dpo only symptoms I have had is heartburn and a little nausea the other night trying so hard not to test until AF is late I got 75mg aspirin in savers if your looking for them

Took another break from conception boards because after investigations from my GP they have concluded I have to wait another 6 months before they'll do anything in regards to trying any treatments. They won't even give me anything to regulate my 70 day cycles, so I'm just feeling utterly rubbish. Feel like I'm back at square one.

No idea what DPO I am but currently on CD 54, I have incredibley sore nipples and feel a bit bloated and crampy though so I think af is coming.

Anyone else getting super bad indents/evaps on FRER? Took one today and it has what looks like a pinkish line but it won't pick up on camera so I imagine it can only be an evap or something, so disheartening!

@Jurassiclover sorry to just jump on here.... FRER have definitely changed for the worse but the lines shouldn't be pink for an evap. I would try again with afternoon pee after a good hold. There's still hope. With regards to your long cycles, have you considered taking herbal supplements to shorten them? I have great success with Agnus Castus (20 mg).

@NoCallerID hey! I'm definitely gonna test again just to be sure, have to get more tests though as I've ran out haha. I've not tried anything yet, I've looked at Myo Inositol and considered getting some. How do you take the Angus Cactus? Thank you for the suggestion!

@Jurassiclover I've not had any evaps on FRERs you might be on to something. Definitely isn't the fake FRER doing the rounds? I see people posting ones with a weird circular logo on the stick end rather than the first response logo. Fingers crossed for you

@2020mission it's from superdrugs so I would hope it's not fake haha! Definitely has the right logo though. I tested on Wednesday and thought if I looked hard enough I could see a shadow but wrote that one off as an evap as I couldn't see any colour, but today's definitely has at least a hint of pink and I don't need to squint as much... I'm definitely gonna pick up some tests tomorrow and try and hold off til Sunday to test and do one with FMU and one with afternoon wee after a good hold and see what happens. Thank you! How are you getting on?

@Jurassiclover I take 20mg every morning and then ideally do a 5 day break when I'm on my period.

@2020mission the ones you mean with the"wrong" logo aren't fake at all - they're the first response rapid results, they show the results quicker but are not as sensitive as the early result ones. :-)

@NoCallerID oh really? Everyone seems to think they are so I assumed they were too. Never bought the rapid ones as they aren't as sensitive so I'm used to the other logo.

@NoCallerID I just looked on the first response website and all the products including the rapid result test on their website have the first response logo and not that weird circle so I still believe they aren't genuine 😆

Hi I’m 4 dpo today or 3 can’t be sure as can’t pin point ovulation. This wait messes with my wellbeing I’m so obsessed with getting that positive I actually tested today (hides face in shame) obv bfn. I know this is ridiculous and stupid. I am 40 and had many loses time not on my side. Sorry to rant xxx

@acaciabluebell I'm about the same DPO as you although I'm quite confused as I had 3 days in a row of peak OPK readings so struggling to figure out when I ovulated. Usually I get the peak for a day and count the day after as ovulation day. So I could be 8 DPO or 10 DPO... going with 9 😂 I'm also not feeling that it's happened this month.

Does anyone else feel they need to test early on weekends just to allow themselves a few drinks without guilt? I'm feeling like I need to test tomorrow before I pour a wine after work but it feels too early and a waste of money. Never easy...

Hey @2020mission so nice to hear from you again. Yay cycle buddies! I don't drink but I can understand the temptation to test early so you can make plans haha!

I feel like I'm driving myself crazy today!! Last month I was on a trip away and literally the day I got back, AF arrived and it was a week earlier than I expected, so I didn't even have time to obsess over it. These past few weeks I haven't given TTC a second thought. But it's like as soon as I hit 8/9dpo something switched in my brain and now it's all I can think about - especially as I'm WFH today. I've already tested today and made myself depressed and then comfort ate so much crap. I KNEW this would happen if I tested early and I did it anyway! Sigh.

@Jaysdream7 so sorry, and absolutely no judgement r.e testing at 4dpo - I once tested even though my period had already started 😂 this TTC journey drives everyone crazy!

Well af arrived so I'm guessing it was an evap on that FRER. CD5 at the min and started taking myo inositol and ubiquinol so hopefully they help.

@acaciabluebell when you planning on testing? Hopefully this is the cycle for you!

@Jaysdream7 so sorry to hear of your losses lovely. No judgement here, I've tested at 2dpo before, honestly the TWW really does mess with you doesn't it! Hopefully this is your cycle!

@2020mission 100% I feel like that too hahaha, I've tested before at 8dpo just cause it was a Friday and I wanted to have a guilt free drink

Hi ladies nice to hear from yous again AF arrived so I am out currently CD 6 so will see what this cycle brings it’s honestly exhausting

I'm pretty sure the FRER will be our first thing tomorrow for me 😆 may as well admit to that now. Sorry AF got you @Itisme90 but won't be long until it's your fertile window again! How many months trying are we all at now? I started in January.
