Hey guys

Is anyone else in the TWW and want to join me in desperately trying not to test 😂

Currently 4DPO in cycle 9 of TTC, and frantically googling when is the absolute earliest I can test, driving myself insane!

How's everyone else finding the TWW at the min? Lockdown is making it harder cause I'm home all day with all my tests 🤦‍♀️

Congratulations @Katiekat12 that’s amazing news. Well ladies I am out this month AF arrived this morning to be honest I wasn’t hopeful anyway didn’t have much symptoms and been a bit crampy for a few days oh well on to cycle 4

I thought I'd rejoin you all after a weeks break from Mumsnet. I took my last BFN quite badly and was feeling really down so put everything babies and pregnancy related away for a week to let me recharge.

I'm now into cycle 6 and at the end of the fertile window this weekend. How are you all doing?

Sorry to hear your cycle is lasting so long @Jurassiclover! Must be so frustrating. How long have your previous cycles been?

@Gab101 I do know from my lurking that tests have varying sensitivities to hCG. I feel like that many positives is enough to at least go to your GP.

TMI alert!
My BFP to BFN saga continues...I got some blood-streaked EWCM yesterday and went to an out of hours GP because it was accompanied by cramping. They've told me to call my normal GP next week and get hCG blood tests. Has anyone had these before, and if so, how long do they usually take to come back?

@Gab101 digital are less sensitive so don't worry about getting a negative there!

@Itisme90 sorry to hear you're out this month, hopefully next cycle is the one for you! Sending you lots of baby dust!

@2020mission I totally understand, I took a break too. Sometimes the negatives are so soul destroying aren't they! My cycle averages 40ish days but longest previously was 55 days

@scrambledeggy I've had them before, i got my results back within an hour but mine were taken at a hospital not GP so not sure if the timescale might be different

I'm now on CD77 and still no AF 😭

@scrambledeggy sorry your saga is continuing as well, have you had the blood tests? I haven't had one before, but hope the results come back quickly for you!

After a slightly longer cycle which was definitely just long enough to get my hopes up, AF finally arrived on cd35. My apps say I'm back into my fertile window, due to ovulate today or tomorrow. I've only tried opks once before but don't think I used them regularly enough as I never got a strong positive! But thinking about trying them.agaun now I'm at home all the time.

Hi all, good to see some life back in the thread 😀 I'm due to test this Thursday or Friday.

Is anyone else at the point where you just don't believe it's going to happen? I think because it's month 6 for me now which I know isn't even that long but I've just got to that point where it feels unlikely it's going to happen. The silly thing is, I did have a chemical on my first month TTC so that should be enough to convince be that it could happen. I think I'll be in a total state of shock if/when I do finally see a BFP 😆

Just to update you all, it did happen! There is hope 💕 wishing you all the best of luck. I'm not getting too excited yet as I've had that chemical before and it might be the same thing 🤞

Congratulations @2020mission I really hope it sticks that’s great news. I am supposed to ovulated today and had a peak on my OPKs yesterday so will definitely be DTD as much as possible lol

@2020mission amazing, congratulations!!! What DPO are you? Any pics of your test?

@acaciabluebell I think I'm 13 DPO but I don't track BBT so cant be sure. AF would be due any time now so I'm not quite late yet. I used a FRER and IC in the same FMU to compare as I was convinced the IC wouldn't show until later! The IC is much fainter but has a hint of a line so they aren't quite as bad as I thought 😆 pic attached

@2020mission beautiful lines 😍 I'm amazed you managed to wait till 13dpo to test! I'm struggling to wait past 10dpo haha

Congratulations @2020mission! Lovely news 😊 I'm onto cycle 6 I think, there were a couple of months where we didn't really "try" for various reasons so still feel like it's early days. Always really nice to hear it does happen

I think I'm 1-2 days dpo so heading into the tww, not DTD as much over the past couple of weeks due to the hot weather! But think we covered ovulation 🤞

I'm currently on CD32 with no AF in sight, but BFN after BFN...so no idea! Expected AF to be here by now.

@acaciabluebell aww I hope AF comes for you soon if it is on the way so you can get back to it! I'm hoping I'll ovulate not long after this bleed ends so I can join you in the next cycle 🤞

I'm in the tww, AF is due next Tuesday. Haven't noticed any symptoms so far, not sure if that's a good sign or not!

I feel your pain @acaciabluebell but at least it won't be long until the fertile window is here again. That's what's keeping me going right now. I'm going to have a nice glass of wine this weekend, probably another cry but then get back on the horse (husband 😆) later next week.

Hi! Can I join? I am 7dpo and really trying to hold on testing because I know it will be a bfn! how are you getting on? which day do you think is the earliest you can test? 10dpo?

Oh no @2020mission I am sorry to hear that I had a chemical in June it’s absolutely gutting I hope your next cycle is the one that sticks. I am 6 dpo not getting much symptoms just felt a little bit nauseous last night but only lasted about 10 minutes so not sure it’s still early days

How is everyone getting on? I'm a bit confused, according to my apps AF is 2 days late. I took a FRER this morning and got BFN, then decided to test with superdrug as well and got this... Now I'm not sure what to think! Clear blue test was also negative. No idea what dpo I am as have been taking a more relaxed approach which doesn't help, probably around 13. Is it likely the superdrug test is a false positive? It came up quite strongly in the 5 min window, but has faded since then.

@Bims2019 oh that looks promising! Fingers crossed for you, are you going to try testing again in a day or so? Nothing to report here... I have been using OPKs since my miscarriage bleed stopped but not anywhere near peak yet. I'd usually have had the peak by now so either not ovulating this month or late ovulation maybe. I wish I just had AF last month rather than the BFP then chemical as i would be in my 2WW by now and wouldn't have had all the false hope!

Hi all, I’m also in the TWW, I think I’m around 5dpo. This is my first cycle TTC, I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction with these first response tests. My cycle is only 25 or 24 days, I put my cycle information, CD1 and positive ovulation result date (afternoon 17th Aug) in the calculator on the test website and it says based on a 25 day cycle I can test from this Tuesday, but I’d only be 7DPO then? I know it says you can test from 6 days before your missed period but is this information maybe for people with longer cycles than me?

Just a bit confused because I’ve read a fair bit about DPO but the tests seem to go off days from your missed period. My period is due at 12DPO. Does the process of implantation happen faster for people with shorter cycles or something? I’m confused haha. x

@Bims2019 ohh that’s confusing! Does the second line in the Superdrug test look like it has colour in it to you or is it greyish? I couldn’t tell from the photo
