Thank you @Tink2019 @Aokbaby & @DSC1

Yes the whole relax thing is rubbish and not realistic at all, and totally agree that only real serious stress can affect things not the usual monthly anxiety!

I have an almost 2 year old but didn't even TTC properly, happened the second month so there wasn't time for much worry. I have endometriosis so was surprised and wondering if that's affecting things now.

Sometimes I feel guilty that I'm upset about TTC because I'm so lucky I have my wonderful daughter, I should be happy with what we're blessed with. But I so badly want a sibling for her, close in age. Of course all the other mum friends of my daughter keep asking why we aren't having number 2 yet as they are.

I often feel like the TTC journey is detracting from my daughter but it's difficult to 'relax' about it.

Does anyone use any good fertility apps? I use Flo but it's never right!

X

Any of you ladies who are taking pregnacare conception find that it has made your ovulation later? Not sure if correlated but I only started bbt when I started taking pregnanace and past w cycles would suggest I ovulated on cd18 last month and cd19 this month with af about 9 days later, spotting today so hopefully af doesn't arrive just yet this cycle as I'm only 7dpo 🤞

Fifol · 27/06/2020 14:45

@aokbaby I started it this cycle, I'm currently cd24 and waiting on ov so definitely later for me!!! But don't know if that's the cause

Aokbaby · 27/06/2020 14:47

Couldn't have said it better @Dbop100 🙌🙌

Aokbaby · 27/06/2020 14:49

@Fifol yea I'm gonna wait and see how this cycle pans out then gonna stop for a cycle just to see if it makes a difference

Tink2019 · 27/06/2020 15:03

@Fifol it really is so so frustrating. Hopefully you and @Douya get that peak soon 🤞🏻

Hoping41 · 27/06/2020 17:02

Welcome to everyone new. It's lively to say how you feel here because there is always at least 1 other person who responds with a 'me too'. Best of luck for everyone this cycle 🤞

DSC1 · 27/06/2020 17:21

@lamby12 you sound just like me. I have a gorgeous LG who just turned 2 - she was born prem at 30 weeks and didn’t have any issues getting pregnant. Now on cycle 11 and I desperately want a sibling for her. I’m going to a fertility dr on Monday for a scan to check egg reserve. I use Flo but just this month have also started to use Fertility Friend as Flo was always slightly off. I’m not doing OPKs though this month as I need a month off from testing.

lamby12 · 27/06/2020 17:41

@DSC1 it's so good to hear someone else say they feel the same (not good for us obviously, but it's nice to not feel alone). Nobody knows we're TTC as I feel like it adds pressure, so I just laugh off the 'when's #2?' questions. My OH isn't a talker and gets a bit sick of me obsessing.

I might try fertility friend as Flo is often off for me too. If this month isn't it we have decided to go to the doctors. I have endometriosis and my OH is 40 (I'm 29) so it could be either of us, or both. Or neither I suppose.

I wish my current cycle would make its mind up so we can move on. I had this month 'off' testing ovulation so I'm not sure what's happening.

Have you tracked BBT? I'm thinking about trying but no idea where to start Confused

Dbop100 · 27/06/2020 18:08

Just thought I’d put it out there, it’s taken me a while to find the tracking method that works for me. I use the app ‘Clue’, I also take my temperature every morning and use the clear blue digital ovulation sticks, I cannot read OPK sticks. This method gives me piece of mind to at least know when I ovulated, if it still doesn’t happen at least I’m not fretting about missing a window. But we’re all different, my friend went by her CM, but I find it impossible to track!x

Swifty2 · 27/06/2020 20:52

@Fifol @Aokbaby I have also started pregnacare conception this cycle, hope it doesn't put my ov back as it was CD29 last month!!!! Surely it can't get much later!!!! I have also started Angus Castus though because I was hoping to bring ov forward a bit! I'll have to wait and see which one wins haha. I have noticed that my wee is VERY yellow....is that normal?! Sorry if that's a weird question!!

Seafrontsky · 27/06/2020 21:12

@Swifty2 yes yellow wee is weird but normal (for me at least) I think it's the vit c? Hope Angus Catus works for you, that's some endurance feat to ovulate day 29!

Aokbaby · 27/06/2020 21:13

@Swifty2 yea I think the yellow wee is down to the vitamins in pregnacare, mines is the same. I've also read that it can make you spot through your cycle, I'm still spotting today and have back pain, af not due to wed so if it does come on full flow today or tomorrow my leutal phase was only 8 or 9 days 😢

Swifty2 · 27/06/2020 21:43

@Aokbaby I'll let you know how my pregnacare conception/Angus Castus combo gets on as it's supposed to bring ov forward and lengthen luteal phase as mine has been a bit short in previous cycles too!

DSC1 · 27/06/2020 21:45

@lamby12 I haven’t ever tried bbt testing, I usually just use the CB OPKs. I’m turning 36 this week so will be good to see the dr and hear what’s what...

Aokbaby · 27/06/2020 21:58

@Swifty2 thanks that's be great. Think I'll keep taking pregnacare until af shows up then stop for next cycle

Twinkletoes85 · 27/06/2020 22:21

Just marking my place. Welcome to new ladies.

After my and then OH arguments last weekend I'm trying to have a bit of a break from thinking about ttc. I'm not even sure I ovulated this month as none of the usual signs are there.

Just feeling a bit miserable atm so trying to get my head together.

Hi @Twinkletoes85, I'm sorry you're going through a rough time and wanted to send you a virtual hug!
(I was on the previous thread and not here very often, but I just wanted to show some support... best of luck to everyone else too!)

Twinkletoes85 · 27/06/2020 22:38

@beachbum85 I remember you. Thank you, hope you're doing ok x

lamby12 · 27/06/2020 22:51

@Twinkletoes85 sorry you're feeling low at the moment. I think we all need a break from TTC every now and again to just take a 'month off'. It feels frustrating that it slows things down but a month where you manage your own expectations that it's not going to happen (and obviously it still might!) takes the stress off a bit.
I had that in May because me and OH we're both poorly we just parked it and it was actually a great month, minus being poorly.
Hope it helps you feel lighter to do that.
X

Dbop100 · 27/06/2020 22:52

@Twinkletoes85 I’m sorry to hear your feeling this way. This whole process is so tough and draining. It really does a number on all of us.xx

Aokbaby · 27/06/2020 23:25

@Twinkletoes85 sending love 💕

DSC1 · 28/06/2020 00:07

@Twinkletoes85 I hope you are ok, it does help to take a break from the TTC rollercoaster. I’ve found not doing OPKs this month has helped me to actually relax a little. Take care of yourself and your OH xx

beachbum85 · 28/06/2020 00:29

@Twinkletoes85 I'm doing well, thanks for asking. I've skipped tracking this month and put TTC to the back of my mind (as much as possible), and I feel a lot calmer. But it's mainly because I've found out that something is up with my thyroid, so I'll be speaking to a fertility specialist this week, and I know that I need to sort that out before falling pregnant.
The last couple of months were pretty tough and it really is a rollercoaster...

I hope you feel better and with your OH too xx

Fifol · 28/06/2020 09:29

@Twinkletoes85 it sucks this whole thing, for what you need to do to feel better and then I'm sure you'll feel more able to deal with this, ifs a stressful time for sure. Take care of yourself.

My fellow late ovulators, every day im not getting this static is driving me a little more crazy! I had 7 days of ewcm and none the last couple of days so I don't know what's going on. I know I didn't miss it because my temps haven't risen. I had a small drop in temp this morning so hoping that means I'll get it tomorrow maybe. So frustrating
