Following on from our 6 months ttc thread, for anyone wanting to join in it’s just a group of us who have gone past the 6/7 month mark ttc looking to chat and support each other. All welcome 😊

Thanks @Seafrontsky that’s great. Interesting to hear acupuncture has helped to regulate your cycles as mine vary in length wildly. My temps also seem too low after O and too high before O so could also help with that. Thanks again 😊

@Swifty2 I had a super long cycle and no real period just brown spotting for a week a couple of years ago, never got to the bottom of it and my next cycle was normal. May be worth doing another pregnancy test though just in case? X

@Swifty2 I don't know if I should say sorry she's arrived or I'm glad she has. As saddening as it is to see her at least it's the end of your rubbish cycle. Are you ok?

Sorry @swifty2 I don't know. Only that blood that colour tends to be old blood so maybe leftover from the previous cycle? Did you say you had pcos? Could it be related to that?

Thanks @Hoping41 @Twinkletoes85 I actually feel happier that she's here! I knew I wasn't pregnant (or at least I was 90% sure) about 6 days ago so it's just been torture waiting for AF and my next cycle to start!

@swifty2 yeah, it's a terrible time just waiting. I'm glad you're feeling ok about it. Hopefully the castor oil packs will do something too 🙂

@Seafrontsky oh yes please, thanks! The massage sounds really good, I've been trying a more alternative method of trying to sort my gut/stomach out and so far so good.

@Swifty2 my last 2 cycles I've only really bled when passing urine, not much to fill a pad at all, it's very strange, not sure what's going on

Yes @Aokbaby I also took them with pregnacare and extra strength vitamin C. You can take them while pregnant apparently too.

Ladies I think I'm out. Temp dropped this morning and I have AF type cramps and pains in my legs. Going to let the information sink in but feeling less devastated than normal so think BBT drop is the best way for me to receive the news and the positive affirmations are helping. I keep thinking of a line in my DD favourite book Rosie Revere " life might have its failures, but this is not it. The only true failure can come if you quit". Going to hang onto that today and get ready for next cycle.

I had bbt drop last month too on my first cycle of tracking it and it kinda did prepare me so I know what you mean.

I've gotten a third blank circle on digital opk this morning so I feel like I'm in for a wait for ovulation. Hopefully not though!

Sorry to hear that @seafrontsky. Great quote and good view point. Onwards and upwards! I'm now cd4 so I've had my first glass of pomegranate juice. Don't think it's going to be a favourite of mine but it's definitely drinkable. Here's to a new month 🤞

@seafrontaky I'm sorry about AF :( but I know what you mean about temp drop.... takes the edge off a little helps to prepare

I'm 3dpo today, temp isn't rising as fast as normal, and my nipples (sorrytmi) have been so so sore since 1dpo which is strange x

Completely unrelated to ttc story but I thought you might all want a laugh this morning.

We've finally got to the putting photos on the wall part of decorating. My OH came home with some photo albums after checking on his dad yesterday.

So we were looking through old photos laughing at hairstyles etc. There was one of his dad clearly taken by friends in his small swimming trunks lying on his back legs in the air. Hanging out one side of said trunks was a testicle.

So I can now say I've seen my fil's testicle 🤦🏼‍♀️ which I know full well OH is going to tell him next time he pops over to see us 😂😂

@Seafrontsky so to hear you think you are out. I have been spotting for 3 days now and waiting for AF. The quote you sent is lovely, thank you for that.

@Fifol I had a month with several days of just the circle - it then went from flashing to static in fewer days than what I would normally have. I think it just shows how our cycles vary from month to month as we aren’t machines.

I was thinking, it’s been quite some time since we had a BFP so surely at least one (hopefully many) has to be due very soon!!!

Yes we totally need some BFPs on here ASAP!
