Hi ladies,

Following on from our 6 months ttc thread, for anyone wanting to join in it’s just a group of us who have gone past the 6/7 month mark ttc looking to chat and support each other. All welcome 😊

@DSC1 I have had some brown spotting today so I reckon that's me out 😔 still not completely out till AF arrives but I pretty much think she is on the way - gutted 😪😪

Thats good that you haven't had anymore spotting!

@Seafrontsky how about you - any AF signs?

@Annny27 sorry to hear you think AF is on her way too. I find this part the hardest as you just feel in limbo. Hopefully she doesn’t come.

Zero symptoms for me so far but really trying to not think about them as they drive me crazy. I really hate this bit in the cycle. Still 6 days to go for me so trying to just roll with it.

Does anyone else look at themselves sometimes and wonder what ttc has turned them into?

I woke up at 5am and really needed to pee so thought I best do my opk and knew I wouldn't get 3 hours sleep after. So I'm sat on the loo at 5am thermometer in my mouth peeing on my opk wondering what would people think if they could see me now.

@Twinkletoes85 yep 🤣 I remember when I lived a life not dictated by my LH levels or cervical mucus consistency....ahhh back in the day hahah

@DSC1 yep just want her to stop teasing me now and arrive if its AF or go away if its pregnancy spotting haha

@Twinkletoes85 haha i know, imagine being able to go to the toilet without checking for cm, without thinking maybe I should collect this urine for opk testing and without praying that there's no blood🙈

@Twinkletoes85 that made me laugh out loud! I did the exact same thing the other day! Sat on the loo peeing into a pot thermometer in mouth! Went back to bed and husband was sleeping soundly! I thought all you bloody have to do is DTD a couple times and your home free 😂

I'm waiting for my smiley faces but after putting the pee stick in the wrong way the other day and then when I ejected to today it showed the circle again I'm not sure if it's working correctly!

@AnxiousAnnie86 haha same, I went back to bed and he didn't even stir. I don't sleep as well as he does normally but even more so now there's temps and peeing on things to think about when I wake up.

It's not even like we'll finally get some sleep when we get pregnant is it 😂

Morning ladies! I've been trying to have a few days off thinking about TTC as I've had a bit of a turbulent cycle this month. I'm currently on cd42 which is 10 days longer than my cycles have been the last 3 months. I had some odd heavyish brown spotting at 4dpo and now I have been brown spotting for about 6 days, bfn at 13dpo. I wish af would just turn up properly!
I've been feeling really down about it because recently I've been pleasantly surprised that my cycles have seemed fairly regular despite my PCOS. This cycle has just made me feel like I have another obstacle in the way!

@twinkletoes85 it's so true miss the days not peeing in a cup and my amazon purchase history was more interesting than vitamins and pregnancy tests!

@Swifty2 sorry to hear this, the waiting for af when you know it's coming is the worst!! Hopefully this cycle is just a blip and they'll start going back to becoming more regular.

Thanks @Aokbaby @AnxiousAnnie86 yes I ovulated about 9 days later than usual too! I guess a silver lining is that at least I do appear to be ovulating! BBT and opk is picking ovulation up each month!
I'm just finding it really draining being constantly uncertain! I never know when ovulation is going to be, or when af will start! the constant spotting isn't helping much either!!

@Swifty2 sorry to hear you're having such a hard time, sending you hugs. Look after yourself, hoping next month gets better for you.

Like theee weeks when I can ovulate, you get sick to death of testing don't you! X

@swifty2 I'm sorry to hear you're in such limbo waiting. As you said the silver lining is you're ovulating but it does sound so draining. I hope things settle down for you x

@Swifty2 so sorry that you are having a hard time, definitely a good idea to have taken a few days off from the TTC rollercoaster. Hopefully this cycle is just a blip and your cycles will return to what you had been experiencing.

@Twinkletoes85 your post made me laugh so much. On the days of just going to the loo without a second thought...

I’m due AF today/tomorrow and was tempted to test when I woke up at 6 but I’ve made a promise to myself that I won’t test early anymore. I took the test into the loo and was about to rip it open but somehow stopped myself and did my FMU and proudly put my test away. DH was fast asleep...

Ooh well done @DSC1! That's some willpower! All the best for tomorrow and AF staying away 🤞🏾

@Twinkletoes85 oh totally I'm so used now to waking and taking my temp half asleep and peeing into a cup half asleep. I always say I'll take a break from it but I actually think I'd be less relaxed if I wasn't doing it!
