Morning everyone! Not sure if I should test or not this morning. Today is the day AF is due, and I started getting cramps yesterday in the evening. I just don't want to waste a test on another bfn! But DH wants me to test....

PinkFlamingoGirl · 10/06/2020 08:29

@seafrontsky I'm glad you are doing positive affirmations. I think they really do help (mentally) and you've just reminded me to look over mine and stop panicking. Woooosaaaaaa.

@aokaybaby I haven't but sometimes I wonder about PCOS. Then I talk myself out it as I don't think I have enough or obvious symptoms. It could be my reaction to coming off the pill. I'm not convinced my cycle is normal yet and I've been off it since October last year

PinkFlamingoGirl · 10/06/2020 08:31

@MrsCOR it's such a dilemma isn't it. I'm going to try and hold out as long as I can but I'm already desperate to know

Aokbaby · 10/06/2020 08:31

@gypsywater do you mind if I ask what symptoms you had, if any? Sorry if too personal, just trying to figure out why I'm cramping after af and endometriosis keeps coming up 🙁

gypsywater · 10/06/2020 08:36

@Aokbaby I didnt have any symptoms actually (did have extremely painful periods for a couple of years in my late teens tho, but might be unrelated) - the gynae suspected it as my uterus was (is?) severely retroflexed (as well as retroverted) and he thought it could be endometriosis pulling it into position. He was right. I recall him saying it was relatively mild endo and he suggested that I go on the Pill afterwards to reduce likelihood of it returning but stupidly I didnt as I didnt fancy hormonal contraception. So praying it hasnt returned!

gypsywater · 10/06/2020 08:37

(I had been seeing the gynae for something else)

Aokbaby · 10/06/2020 08:37

@PinkFlamingoGirl yea I'm hoping it's just my body adjusting but I've been off pill 7 months now, only past 2 cycles have felt normal, hoping it's just that

Aokbaby · 10/06/2020 08:39

@gypsywater thanks. The only symptoms I have are mild cramps after af, only really happened this month, old Dr Google does make you think the worst though!!

MrsCOR · 10/06/2020 08:45

BFN again. AF definitely going to arrive I think!

gypsywater · 10/06/2020 08:50

@MrsCOR @notyetamumbuttrying hugs

PinkFlamingoGirl · 10/06/2020 08:53

😔 sorry @MrsCOR it really does suck

Twinkletoes85 · 10/06/2020 08:58

@aokbaby I haven't but a very good friend of mine had to have surgery for her endometriosis about 8/9 years ago. She was told she would never conceive without the surgery and may struggle after.

She's just had her third baby, she fell on maybe 6 months after her surgery (I can't remember exactly now). I realise that's one of 'those' stories but I hope it's reassuring!

@mrsCor @notyetamumbutteying I'm sorry you've had bfns 😔

skittles2003 · 10/06/2020 09:00

@PinkFlamingoGirl I feel exactly the same. I tried to shield everything from my husband but the lack of communication came to a head this month and I got really upset he wasn't putting any effort in, but he didn't know what days he needed to (I assumed me being "spontaneous" would be most romantic)!! So we had an honest discussion and he said he'd much rather know when my FW is and would prefer to schedule so we can make sure we have the time and we're on the same page...

Twinkletoes85 · 10/06/2020 09:00

@aokbaby just realised I spelt it wrong in my comment below!

@mrscor sorry about your Bfn it's really tough, hope you're ok

Annny27 · 10/06/2020 09:14

Bfns suck :( sorry @MrsCOR its such a deflating feeling!! :(

Anyone else around 7dpo as well?

Annny27 · 10/06/2020 09:15

@PinkFlamingoGirl my husband admitted to me the other day (after 12 months of trying) that he didn't actually know what ovulating meant 🤣🤣🤣🤣

notyetamumbuttrying · 10/06/2020 09:18

Thanks @Hoping41! I'll start Angus castus again from cd1 until ov. And just keep up with the other vitamins. I've given up booze for June so let's see if that makes a difference. The only other thing I can think of is dtd more but Dh might have a heart attack 😂
Thanks @PinkFlamingoGirl I'm ok 🙂 how are you doing?
Thanks @gypsywater! When you due on/testing?
Thanks @Twinkletoes85! Testing soon?

gypsywater · 10/06/2020 09:22

@notyetamumbuttrying
June 22nd!

Twinkletoes85 · 10/06/2020 09:24

@Annny27 😂😂 I do feel a bit sorry for the menfolk in all this. We at the very least have a basic working knowledge of the female reproductive system. They seem to be a bit clueless past blood and babies come out of there.

My evening primrose oil and seven seas arrived on Monday and I was explaining to DP that I'm taking the evening primrose to try increase my cm and the look he gave me. I don't think he enjoys learning about discharge

Sorry about your BFNs @notyetamumbuttrying @MrsCOR
I’m considering cutting booze out completely this cycle. You never know, I may as well do something I can control 🤷🏻‍♀️
