Hi ladies,

Following on from our 6 months ttc thread, for anyone wanting to join in it’s just a group of us who have gone past the 6/7 month mark ttc looking to chat and support each other. All welcome 😊

@seafrontsky, I think that's totally normal. I work with kids and was with a group last week that were really rude and I was miserable! Another woman there was like 'yeah, but even the challenging ones are great because I love kids' and I just thought, jeez I don't like all kids all the time 🤣🤣

@swift2 that's great. It makes all the difference when they are actively thinking about it too. I was crying this morning to OH that it feels like I'm carrying all the stress of this and I want to at least get all the tests done to see if we can even possibly conceive but we can't until he goes for his test. Today be phoned the gp and researched vitamins to help sperm. He'll have forgotten by tomorrow 🤷🏼‍♀️ but it felt good that he'd made an effort.

@Hoping41 ahh that's good that he thought about it! My OH is like that though, he listened to what I was saying...but only to half of it because it's definitely the wrong time of the month 😂 luckily pineapple is delicious. He'll happily take supplements and he remembers every day but he would never do his own research! But he is supportive and I don't feel like the burden is all on me, he's always saying I'm too harsh on myself!
Does anyone else have any tips about getting the OH involved?

@Swifty2 oh dear, that's funny. At least he tried - and you like pineapple! Yes, I couldn't do with a partner of the other extreme who was always on about it (I'm not good with pressure) but advice on how to get him to be a happy medium would be great!

Sorry of this is tmi but yesterday I noticed a little ewcm type discharge and today I've had a little bit of brown spotting and some brown tinged ewcm. Af has been finished since saturday night/sunday morning. Anyone have spotting a few days after af?

Yeah I always get spotting day 6 @Fifol and it's brown. It's just old blood basically. If you have an app, note it in there and you'll start to see a pattern. Flo is good for that.

@Fifol definitely keep an eye on it if it's new to you. It's gone by cd7 for me but everyone's different. Could also be caused by too much sex 🙈 hitting your cervix etc so defo keep an eye!

@Kitttycatt which pregnancy tests are you using? It could be that the tests might not be picking up the hormone. Keeping my fingers crossed for you.

@AnxiousAnnie86 I'm so tempted to get an AVA bracelet, its really helpful the info you sent. Fingers crossed I won't need to order one

@KK251289 yeah I know I'm hoping it won't be needed, but I honestly won't care if I have wasted the money if I don't need it.... I just wanted to get it so I had it for cycle day one.... if you do get one look on eBay I paid half the retail xx

@AnxiousAnnie86 thats a good point, I'll definitely have a look on ebay now, prepare for next month. I didnt even think, I think I'm just so used to ordering ovulation tests, pills etc as soon alas AF arrives not used to being this in front for next month

@KK251289 I feel like I'm always used to the next one! I spend a fortune on ovulation, I think it'll take a month or too to trust not doing opks when I think I am ovulating, but it'll be nice to not have to bbt every morn and scrutinise it!

@Fifol yea I sometimes get spotting after af, it finished there on sat and I had spotting on monday, not much just a little brown discharge. Was your af heavy or light before it?

@aokbaby that's so strange I never get it, body doing weird things as usual just to keep things interesting! Af was normal but a bit lighter than usual.

Morning ladies,

I feel like I carry most of the worry and effort with the whole TTC journey. DH just needs to DTD at the right time and even he doesn't really know when that is (he has a rough idea haha). I do hide a lot from him though as I don't want to take all the fun out of it or put more pressure on him. That's totally down to me though and I should probably share more.

I am 9dpo and getting to the stage where I have the fear of going to be toilet. If I see spotting I feel like I'll know I'm out because my AF always starts with spotting. Normally a few days later than this but still the anxiety is creeping in. Nothing yet. 🤞

I don't have anything in the way of symptoms tbh. I have noted a few things but they can all be easily explained in other ways. Damn the TWW and making us wonder about every single thing and sending us crazy 😂🙈

@notyetamumbuttrying oh no, I'm so sorry to hear that. It's really tough, enjoy the hot water bottles, baths and everything else your not allowed in the tww 💚

Thanks @DSC1 and @Hoping41 I felt awful but had a zoom chat with my besties and a good night's sleep and feel better. Think all the TTC and lockdown and no childcare for 3 months is getting to me! My kids are wonderful and I love being with them but finding working with them at home so hard. Also My neighbour and good friend is due with her baby this week and I'm nervous I wont react well when she gives birth.

@Hoping41 I hope you're ok. This TTC business is such a burden on us, so much responsibility for it not happening every month it seems. My DH is very understanding and engaged now. I think it has been a slow build up over the 21 months though! He sees that it's better for me to be proactive rather than anxious and getting upset, although I think the seed cycling is beyond him!

@Fifol I had this last month and was told if it happens after sex that's just a bit of final AF being dislodged from the cervix

@PinkFlamingoGirl oh god the toilet fear is real. I hate it and keep it in then when AF comes I'm a mess. I have been doing the positive affirmations this month and feel a bit better about it all.

Just curious have any of you ladies been diagnosed with endometriosis or pcos?

I was diagnosed with endometriosis in 2016 when having a laproscopy - it was removed there and then. Do worry that it may have come back in that time though so this is something I will ask about if/when see GP.
