TTC journey starting June...

Hey ladies!

Anyone with me ttc next month? I had my DS back in Feb 19 and we've now decided to try for baby #2.

I've been out and bought ovulation sticks, pregnancy tests and folic acid. I haven't been on Mumsnet in a long while and I've just checked the conception topic and I'm all excited again, it was such a great support platform for me the first time around!

@PabsyPops yes Hun it tells you not to as apparently it stays on the screen for 2 days and if you test in that time it brings up an error. This is clear blue advanced, is that what you have? Congrats on static smiley, I was buzzing!

@Newbie9 yes i was too as it's my first one. I used the cheap tests the last few months and never even saw a positive so I was starting to think something was up!!

@PabsyPops I haven't been using opks long but wasn't getting anywhere with the cheaper ones either

How is everyone? I know these symptoms are way too early for pregnancy but I think it's hormone related, progesterone the monkey 🤣 does anyone else feel sick & shattered between ovulation and periods? I did last month too and it's awful

Hi @Newbie9 All ok here. Yes, I feel the same after AF before ovulation! This month seems to be dragging lol x

I'm mainly working at home at the minute and I feel like it's making everything drag sooooo much more!! I'm only 2/3 DPO 😫 I'm trying not to think about it but it's really not working 🤣

@PabsyPops we're pretty much at the same stage! I'm 3-4 dpo X

I'm CD 7 today. Dtd starting last night and started testing ovulation! This is 100% negative isn't it?

I think so yeh, I always thought you could have a faint line before the surge though but have also read different. If you download the fermometer app you can take a photo of it & it reads it for you x

It's so confusing isn't it @Newbie9 ! I really do need to invest in some more expensive ones took this one today (2nd urine) and it's relatively darker I'd say. This could make you crazy couldn't it

I've got to say I found the clear blue ones best, hold your wee from 1-3 of longer if you can and don't have much to drink it might be darker again x

I've got mild cramps, really mild but noticeable and not all the time but I'm only 6dpo so unlikely to be implantation, I'm worried it's af coming as I only had a weeks luteal phase last month ☹️

Thanks @Newbie9 I'll give that a try! Oh no, I hope it's not AF I do find that we notice a lot more whilst TTC though as we're constantly symptom spotting so hopefully it's not AF arriving early for you x

I feel a little bit sick and just drained of energy today... I don't think it can be anything though as I'm only 4/5 DPO. Surely I can't be getting symptoms this early can I? It's that or I am imagining it 😂

Hi all- hope you don't mind me joining your thread. We started TTC #2 this month and I am 5DPO. Forgot how nerve-wracking the TWW can be and being mainly stuck at home is not helping really to provide any decent distractions!

@PabsyPops I am feeling exactly as you describe too and keep telling myself it is too early... but maybe it isn't?!

@Newbie9 I've read that Implantation can happen as early as 6 days but more often it's 8-9. Fingers crossed!

Ladies I'm so confused! I'm CD 8 of an average 26 day cycle. Been testing LH levels for the last few days and the line was dark(ish) yesterday and this morning it's really faint again! Not sure if it's just a dodgy test? I usually ovulate in around 4/5 days time

@Newbie9 Has AF arrived? Fingers crossed it hasn't!x

@kate123cl hey, ok thank you still no period thank goodness!! I had that mild cramping day 6-7 which I know could be implantation but super early and it's usually day 8-10 so not getting my hopes up yet. Day 9 tomorrow so we'll see! Might test 10dpo on fri 😬

@Newbie9 Oh that's great news! I'm sure when I got pregnant with DS I had implantation pains quite early on too so fingers crossed!

Testing isn't going too bad, kind of giving up with these tests now though. They're getting lighter again, due to be ovulating in around 3 days!

I hated testing too, the are so annoying, the only tine I got a clear result was after limiting water intake & not going to the toilet for a few hours in the afternoon x

@Newbie9 that's great to hear that AF has stayed away, I have everything crossed for you this weekend for resting.
I remember actually feeling implantation with my first pregnancy so vividly - it's going to be a lonnnnng TWW trying to not imagine it all the time this time.
@kate123cl I think our cycles are very similar (I'm usually 26/27 days) and think I'll ovulate over the weekend/early next week. Trying to not over think things but at the same time it's all I think about!!
How's everyone else doing? June is turning in to the longest month!
