Evening!
Think I’m about 8dpo and just feeling shit; nausea, extreme bloat, backache, congested, moody, tired, lightish cramping and just generally meh!

Supposedly due on 30th May.

Anyone else? X

@VP91x Yes it's been a hell of a year. I get pregnant very easily (4 times in 8 cycles) but they just don't seem to stick. But I've switched to a new doctor who had lots of ideas about different things we can try, so for now I just have to keep getting pregnant and hope we find a solution that works. This week is going to be so long because I know I have a good chance of being pregnant again, and I just want to know what is going to happen next. Is the next month going to be about weekly scans and praying this one works out, or is it going to be another round of cycle monitoring and investigations? I'd just like to know either way!

VP91x · 25/05/2020 11:18

@peperethecat you must hear this alot, but you're very strong to go through what you have had to go through. I really hope with this new doctor they can help you find a way to make sure the pregnancy sticks. It is good they have you under extra monitoring too, although that must be a stress in itself! Xx

peperethecat · 25/05/2020 11:21

@VP91x Thank you, I don't really see it that way though because I don't really have any choice in the matter. If I want a baby I have to keep on...well, not keep on buggering on because that's not how babies are made haha! Grin But you know what I mean. The hardest part is seeing it happen so easily for everyone else around us.

Luckily I am not in the UK (moved abroad three years ago) and the healthcare system here is much better than the NHS. If I'd been going through this in the UK I'd have only just gone on a waiting list for basic testing (which all came back normal anyway) or be forking out thousands to see a private doctor.

VP91x · 25/05/2020 11:24

@peperethecat where are you based now?

Luckily I haven't had the experience to ask my doctor to investigate but read about so many frustrating stories where it has taken ages to get anything done.

peperethecat · 25/05/2020 11:26

I live in France. Smile

Ect90 · 25/05/2020 16:30

It’s lovely that there are so many of us going through this week together, I think friends and family although empathetic it’s not quite the same. Here’s to lots of BFPs one for us all 😁

@CurbsideProphet yes it’s 3 here too, but when I went to the EPU with my mc they said next time you are pregnant just to ring for a reassurance scan, I think they said that to me based on the fact I cried so much while I was there, but that was all before lockdown so who knows what will happen if I’ve caught this time.
@peperethecat I am sorry that you have experienced 4 losses 💔 I hope your new doctor works out for you. I have never heard of a hcg shot, does it give you pregnancy symptoms?
@Rbr11 Congratulations! I am really happy for you I hope your test is even darker tomorrow! 💖

peperethecat · 25/05/2020 16:40

@Ect90 Thank you. No I don't have any pregnancy symptoms but it's a relatively small amount of the hormone. That said, in my third pregnancy my HCG got to over 100,000 at one point and I never had any symptoms then either!

Fueledwithfairydustandgin · 25/05/2020 16:48

Congratulations. I hope this thread is full of BFPs. I’ve just ordered a test. I can’t see me holding out until Thursday.

peperethecat · 25/05/2020 16:56

I'm supposed to be doing a beta HCG test on Monday and I just found out that Monday is a bank holiday here so no idea whether the lab will be open. Argh!

This is going to be a very long wait.

Dani6ll6 · 25/05/2020 18:47

Question guys!

When ovulation test is positive, is that your day of ovulation or the day after?

peperethecat · 25/05/2020 18:53

Usually a day after, for me at least.

Rbr11 · 25/05/2020 18:59

Yep the day after for me but I would dtd that day aswell to double up
