8DPO - anyone else?

Evening!
Think I’m about 8dpo and just feeling shit; nausea, extreme bloat, backache, congested, moody, tired, lightish cramping and just generally meh!

Supposedly due on 30th May.

Anyone else? X

@kirsty0028 yes faint positive today at 9dpo and I know it’s way too early but I have a feeling I more around 10/11 dpo as that is when I got a + on OPK but my app has put me at 9dpo 🤷🏼‍♀️ I’ve got some more frers and CBs coming today so I’m hoping I can refrain from testing tomorrow but I just can’t help myself 😂

The limbo feels soooo long this time doesn’t it?!!! I have to keep myself occupied otherwise I just end up trawling through ttc threads all the time 😂

@VP91x aw thank you. I have amazon strips and I've been using those. I have clear blue digital that says they pick up early but I'm not sure about those now as I've heard mixed reviews.

My very promising symptoms yesterday are nowhere to be seen this morning. This is such an emotional rollercoaster 🎢 glad you all are here, it's nice knowing there are others in the same boat. My hubby is very calm and collected what will he will be kinda guy, so I don't want to drive him crazy. I'm very close with my mom and sister but have told nobody we're trying at all. So it's lovely to chat here.

Do any of you all find yerselves to be afraid, like I already feel afraid of everything like Afraid of miscarriage, afraid of any abnormalities, afraid of losing my freedom/not loving being a mom like I dream that I will/ afraid of not being a good mom. I'm so sorry I don't mean to sound negative I just want to get my feelings out there I hope it's normal. Or maybe I'm just an anxious mess and always will be 😆

@kirsty0028 I definitely feel afraid by all those things you've mentioned! I want to have a baby so much and I am ready. Guess you never can be completely ready and not scared though! Glad I'm on here though to discuss conception things so my partner doesn't think I'm crazy!

I actually got my peak on a test on the 20th but my ap has me ovulating on the 21st. Or should I be counting from peak day? 🤔 you can see I've also been testing past few days out of curiosity 😂

@kirsty0028 I mean it is sooo faint and hoping it’s not an evaporation line, it does have some pink colour to in RL so here’s hoping! Who am I kidding I’ll probably test everyday until AF due 😂

@Fran2020 yes I totally feel the same like I'm so looking forward to being a mom and it's a great time. We're married almost one year, he's 30 I'm 28 we have our own home but I just feel like "as ready as I'll ever be" and wanting it badly but at the same time being afraid of my life changing if that makes sense! It's hard to describe. I think that I can't contemplate the enormity of it no matter how hard that I try tbh.

@kirsty0028 I think general consensus with OPKs once you get a peak it is normally the next day you ovulate. Using BBT is also helpful to help narrow it down more! I really hope you get a BFP xx

@Fran2020 this is my first month, which is prob why I'm so crazy it's all a bit new to me! What about you?

@kirsty0028 we've been TTC for 11 months now. Only recently joined Mumsnet and loving it but got a bit obsessed haha!

Yes I'm obsessed also, I don't want to be Cos it's exhausting but I always get obsessed with things when I'm even a little interested in them , it's just who I am 😭

@kirsty0028 its hard and you quickly realise if your the stay at home type mum or the working mum. I'm the working mum. I dont know how stay at home mums do it without going insane. I love my daughter but I can't be around her 24 hours a day 7 days a week, it would drive me insane. I did feel guilty working but lockdown has taught me its better for everyone's mental health that I'm not a stay at home mum

@IndigoJam I can imagine I just think you don't know what motherhood will be like for you until you actually have your baby. I'm glad to hear that this fear is common ❤️

I just checked my cervix and it's very high (really to reach) and feels kinda soft and closed. At 8dpo should it be dropping if period is on the way. My period is due in 7 days x

Sorry to jump in, I hope it's ok!
My hubby and I are on our first month of ttc baby number 2. As others have said, he's all casual about it but I've instantly turned into a woman possessed, tracking everything on apps!! I think I'm about 12dpo, AF due in 2 days. Took 2 Sainsburys tests this week, one had the whisper of a line, the other I don't think did (until I checked it later in the day and saw a line, but googled and realised probably evaporation line!)
Got a BFP on a different brand test this morning though!! (Was going to add a pic but can't work out how to!)
Hubby is so chilled about it, but I'm freaking out already! I just felt pregnant this morning before I took it, if that makes sense? Cramping, but different to usual AF cramping. And, my god, the farting!! What is that about?! I also have diarrhoea... is that normal?! I had all sorts of symptoms really early with our first, but not the same as this!
Early congratulations to those with BFPs, and fingers and toes crossed for those still holding out for their line xx

Omg I don't have my BFP yet but I have had the same diarrhoea /generally going toilet more and gassiness. I didn't know if it could be a possible good sign. Xx

How long have you been ttc? Have you taken any tests?

I had a quick google and it seems like diarrhoea etc can be a symptom, related to the surge in progesterone apparently?! I remember having a little bit of cramping/bloating early with my first pregnancy, but mostly I had sore boobs, sickness and funny smelling wee!
I can't cope with how gassy I am at the moment- for a few days I've felt like a balloon being deflated, all day long 🙈

@SongsofWhales This is Cycle 2 TTC. I had a MC in December so took a little while for things to settle back down.

I'm 10DPO and took a test this morning that has a whisper of maybe a line on it. So going to test again tomorrow 🤞 xx

@Songsofwhales I've been experiencing those exact same symptoms so fingers crossed! Got a BFN yesterday on 12DPO. Testing again on Sunday 🤞🏼
