Evening!
Think I’m about 8dpo and just feeling shit; nausea, extreme bloat, backache, congested, moody, tired, lightish cramping and just generally meh!

Supposedly due on 30th May.

Anyone else? X

Congratulations for positives ladies.. I tempted to test this morning with FMU on amazon cheapie and no lines for me :( AF due on Monday, do you think it's still early to expect results. Yesterday felt really bad leg cramps but nothing else. Not sure what's going on.

Ect90 · 27/05/2020 09:04

@VP91x oooh those sound like really good signs, have you taken a test yet or are you holding off?

VP91x · 27/05/2020 09:11

@Ect90 well, I tested the other day thinking I was further along than I was!🙄 I'm 8DPO now that Fertility Friend recalculated,so going to hold until Friday to see what happens at 10DPO.

@Windyberry I wouldn't rely on the cheapies. I've seen so many threads where they either don't show up until late etc. What DPO are you?

Windyberry · 27/05/2020 09:22

@VP91x I didn't use opks this month. Just going by last day of fertile window gets me 8 Dpo today. But I am guessing I would have ovulated before that. I will try to wait untill Monday to test again.

Rebecca299 · 27/05/2020 09:22

Morning Guys,

Congratulations on the positive tests today. Great news to start the day.

Well I had no more bleeding over the course of the evening or overnight but have started this morning will see how things go over the course of today.

I don't feel like I have my period have a bit of back ache as well.

One thing that is strange I've woke up with a cold sore starting just down from my lip, when I was pregnant with my daughter I had the biggest most disgusting cold sore in that exact same place.

Think that's my mind all playing up on me.

What apps does everyone use for tracking? Xx

Solomon1212 · 27/05/2020 09:25

Two pics both were proper squinters but definately there, so put them into black and white which made it easier to spot. Its hard to get a pic.
First is 8dpo and other is today at 9dpo both using SMU.
I ran my own little experiment on tests and which will pick up early. Dont ask me why, think cabin fever is setting in but hopefully it helps someone out. So...
1st pic is a coop test, 2x tests £3.85
2nd is superdrugs own 2x tests £4.99
3rd is boots test strips 5x tests £4.99

Im not going to test now until monday when AF is due as i have a history of CP's. Id be devastated if its another so hoping and praying its a sticky bean this time. Xx

VP91x · 27/05/2020 09:27

@Windyberry definitely early to test anyway, I've had to remind myself of this today too haha. Definitely by 11DPO maybe even 10 we might be able to see a faint line. Fingers crossed xx

@Rebecca299 oh, have you tested again? Do you think it could be IB? Interesting that you got that last time! I've been using Femometer and Fertility Friend but actually I think Fertility Friend is more accurate! You can compare loads of charts etc too and gives you great info on the paid version. They have an offer on at the moment £20 something for a full year xx

IndigoJam · 27/05/2020 09:28

Thanks everybody. Hopefully you all get good news soon too. I wasn't really expecting it this month. I've been trying since January so of it sticks it'll be a nice surprise.

Fran2020 · 27/05/2020 09:34

We’ve been trying for 11 months. I’m currently 11DPO with AF due approx Tuesday 2nd June. I have been feeling so sicky with a funny feeling in my tummy! am so tempted to test but feel it’s too early? I really hate this two week wait! I have the Clear blue advanced fertility monitor so it doesn’t say to test until nearer AF. I think we have a spare normal Pregnancy test in the cupboard. What should I do?!

Solomon1212 · 27/05/2020 09:36

I would test personally. Even if its faint at least you know xx

Rebecca299 · 27/05/2020 09:50

I haven't tested yet as thought it was too early. I'm never really sure when to test.

VP91x · 27/05/2020 10:14

@Rebecca299 most people I start testing around 10/11 DPO which is still technically early so depends how you feel really! Xx

IndigoJam · 27/05/2020 12:46

Told myself that if/when I get a positive test I wouldny tell any of my family until I'd had the 12 week scan but with nothing to distract me currently I keep having to stop myself telling my mum about the maybe positives. So hard. 😕

Dani6ll6 · 27/05/2020 13:36

@indigoJam I'm going to have the same problem as when I get excited (and even though it's early it's hard not too) I love to talk about it..

IndigoJam · 27/05/2020 13:39

@Dani6ll6 yeah with my first i knew at 5 weeks and told my mum and my sister the same day I found out. It was a bit much because before I was 12 weeks everyone knew so want to hold off second time

CurbsideProphet · 27/05/2020 13:44

@Fran2020 oh we're twins. I'm also 11 dpo (cycle day 22) and feeling a bit sicky / funny feelings inside - not quite cramps, just a feeling 🤔
I'm cycle 7. I'm waiting a bit longer to poas in case AF shows up in the next couple of days.

Fran2020 · 27/05/2020 13:45

I know what you mean! Having all this extra time to think about stuff will make it so much harder to keep quiet if I do get a BFP!

Fran2020 · 27/05/2020 13:49

@CurbsideProphet that’s cool! Yeah I am having that same feeling, it’s weird! But not sure if it’s my brain playing tricks on me- I really hope not. How long is your usual cycle? Mine varies but 28 days on average.

Ect90 · 27/05/2020 14:01

@indigojam just do what feels right for you.
We decided not to tell anyone until our 12 week scan which sadly ended in a mmc at 10 weeks, then we told the parents the bad news for the support but I then felt they didn't get to share the joy we felt those first weeks. I think no matter what you do some people would say tell them and others would say keep quiet. But it is best to do what feels right for you xx

Fueledwithfairydustandgin · 27/05/2020 15:23

@Ect90 work reasons. I was so hopeful for this month

CurbsideProphet · 27/05/2020 17:47

@Fran2020 my cycles used to be 27 days, but since having 2 chemicals it varies from 24-28 days... I live 15 miles from my family, so it would be much easier for me to be pregnant now because I'm not seeing them anyway!

Fran2020 · 27/05/2020 19:22

@CurbsideProphet Oh yeah, would definitely be easier right now! Although I don't reckon I would be able to keep it to myself whenever it happens!

Ect90 · 27/05/2020 20:54

Girls I have had to hand over the pregnancy tests to the OH then he said he will think about giving me one on sunday...hpt detox 🤣 I know I don't get a positive until at least 14dpo but I have still tested early against my better judgement. At least now I know I don't have any I won't be able to take another. I should just wait for AF or the lack of AF. I am usually so calm about stuff and controlled but this ttc is another level 🤪

Chicken123 · 27/05/2020 21:09

I’m 11DPO today and still having the light twinges..nothing like the dull aches I get leading up to AF. Saying that, she’s supposedly due in 3 days according to my app, so I’m going to by some tests tomorrow during my food shop and wait until the 30th and see what happens.
Hope you’re all okay, and staying safe and I’m sprinkling baby dust over you all x

@Ect90 that's a good idea to get your partner to hide them. I might have to do the same next month if I am unsuccessful.

CD30/9dpo today. My last cycle was 31 days, so I am half expecting AF to be due tomorrow? Obviously still very early testing wise even if it was.

@Chicken123 ah hope it is a good sign for you!!
