Evening!
Think I’m about 8dpo and just feeling shit; nausea, extreme bloat, backache, congested, moody, tired, lightish cramping and just generally meh!

Supposedly due on 30th May.

Anyone else? X

Morning ladies,

Took another test again at 11DPO, negative unfortunately. Will try again tomorrow unless AF arrives xx

murphs2 · 30/05/2020 08:03

Hi ladies, lovely to scroll through and see so much exciting baby news! It really helps, huge congratulations to those with a BFP.
I'm 38 TTC baby #3, I miscarried in late December at 5/6 weeks. My first experience of loss after two healthy pregnancies. My cycle took a month or two to normalise, so I'd say I'm on cycle 3.
I'm a week into the TWW and honestly, I'm losing the plot 🤣 So great to meet other like minded people!! My husband hates any drama and just stays super calm and says what will happen will happen. So annoying as I know he is right but I CAN'T do that. AF due on 8th, I'm going wait until then to test. Wishing BFP all around 🤞🏻🤞🏻

kirsty0028 · 30/05/2020 13:11

Are you all testing on amazon cheapies or using FRERs I've had loads of symptoms and I'm 9Dpo now and BFN on amazon cheapie! May go get some frers instead

Fran2020 · 30/05/2020 15:03

Anyone else keep thinking AF is coming because you feel really wet down there (sorry tmi) but then nothing?!

Songsofwhales · 30/05/2020 15:23

@kirsty0028 I took 3 cheapie Sainsburys tests with varying results over 3 days- the most convincing being a very pale line. Bought another test called "Answer" from Amazon. Cheap as chips but just like FRER (and, according to a couple of reviews, made in the same factory). Got an almost instant BFP with that the same day as a not very convincing response on a Sainsburys one.

Windyberry · 31/05/2020 04:30

Good morning ladies, congratulations on all BFP's and good luck for ones waiting for one this month. I just got my BFP Smile.
I had positive opk on Friday which triggered me to be hopefull as it catches HCG too. I tested AC on Friday and I could see faintest line but my husband could not. I tested yesterday again with Positive OPk and same line in AC. Grabbed Frer and boots cheapie yesterday and tested just now with FMU. I can't beleive it happened so quick as it was our first cycle for baby #2 and I still BF during nights to my 13 MO. Line progression attached for last 5 days plus today morning. You might not see anything on AC but last two were very very positive for Friday and Saturday. Lots of baby dust to this group..Wink

Fran2020 · 31/05/2020 10:08

I had another BFN this morning and have had some dark brown spotting 😔 I really thought it would just happen straight away but this is our 11th month.

kirsty0028 · 31/05/2020 10:16

@Songsofwhales thank you. I went out last night and got some FRERS.

I got a bfn this morning tho 😔 I'm at 10 dpo so hoping it is still very early. My heart rate is still up to like 95-100 bpm so hoping that's a good sign. A little bit disheartened after that test but i suppose it's early 😔

Songsofwhales · 31/05/2020 11:08

Ah, I'm sorry ladies 😔

Fran2020 · 31/05/2020 11:23

@Songsofwhales thank you.

@kirsty0028 I keep feeling so disappointed. TTC is tougher than I thought it would be. Sending positive thoughts to you

kirsty0028 · 31/05/2020 11:28

@Fran2020 what dpo are you today? I can imagine 11 months is super hard 😔 but I hope it will happen for you soon 😔 ❤️

kirsty0028 · 31/05/2020 11:30

Thank you @Songsofwhales I'm trying to
Stay positive and hoping I'm not out yet as I'm only at 10dpo. Does anybody know how likely a negative is to turn positive after 10dpo? ❤️

Fran2020 · 31/05/2020 11:37

@kirsty0028 Thank you, I'm 15DPO now. My cycles vary from 26-31 days. Keeping positive until AF has definitely arrived. If not, maybe next month is a lucky month! Incredibly hard. I'm so grateful to have found these threads as it really will now help to keep me going as everyone is so lovely and supportive! 😊
10DPO is still very early too! So keeping positive for you x

kirsty0028 · 31/05/2020 11:48

@Fran2020 it's not over till the witch arrives ❤️ so hang in there and if not maybe next month will be your month and wouldn't it be a lovely story to say that you fell pregnant on your exact year anniversary of trying after feeling so
Disheartened you finally got what you wanted. Leave dreamy thoughts like this keep you going. Or think of it like if you're running on a threadmill and you break it into bite size pieces till before you know it it's over. Try to take it in 5 minute so snippets or in this case one month snippets, like keep saying just one more month one more month, drip feeding it to yourself, I think that would help me, not looking at the very big picture but I know it's so hard to stay positive but hang on there ❤️

Fran2020 · 31/05/2020 11:56

@kirsty0028 Thank you so much, that really helps a lot! ❤️ It would be so perfect for it to be on the year anniversary. If it happened immediately, the baby would've been born during this pandemic and my family wouldn't have been able to see him/ her so I guess everything happens for a reason.
My partner is being amazing too and keeping positive too so that helps as well. 😊

kirsty0028 · 31/05/2020 12:41

@Fran2020 exactly, there you go. Coming out the other end of the pandemic would be a much nicer time to fall pregnant realistically ❤️ looking at the positives will get you through, even if it is hard, always try 🥰

Fran2020 · 31/05/2020 20:10

@kirsty0028 exactly! I'm all for focusing on the positives! 😊❤️🤞🏼

Fran2020 · 01/06/2020 10:44

@kirsty0028 looks like AF is here now. Keeping positive for the next month now! 🤞🏼

Dani6ll6 · 09/06/2020 09:24

Hi all, hope your all keeping well and safe.

Just wondering how all the ladies that got a BFP are getting on?

I'm still testing to make sure my lines are strong... I don't dare call the midwife yet incase I jinx it!

I've been really tired and boobs hurting but no sickness or anything so far x

Songsofwhales · 09/06/2020 10:01

I've taken so many tests 'just to check'! I've had waves of nausea, but no actual vomiting so far. Absolutely exhausted, and had a sudden, weird aversion to some cucumber last week. Other than that, nothing much else to report! Severe sickness started around 6/7 weeks with my first, so part of me feels like I'm counting down to that. Although I'm aware this pregnancy could be completely different!

I've already booked my first MW appointment. Needed to speak to them for some coronavirus advice, so spoke to them pretty early!

Hope everyone is keeping well. Xx

Dani6ll6 · 09/06/2020 10:24

@Songsofwhales How many weeks do you think you are? My app says 5w2days Due Feb 7th.

What advice did the midwife give you about the coronavirus? Are you allowed to take your partner to the appointment? X

Songsofwhales · 09/06/2020 10:56

@Dani6II6 I've checked a few apps and it varies depending on whether or not they ask for cycle length (mine is short). But getting an EDD of either 7th or 10th Feb... so possibly matching!

Annoyingly they didn't really give any advice. I was trying to find out if it's safe for my husband to physically return to work, but they just suggested I read the NHS website (which I'd already done).
The first appointment is via phone - they said they'll make arrangements for bloods etc on that call. I guess I'll find out then if my hubby can come to physical appointments with me. Think the guidelines on things like that are regularly changing so hard to know what the case will be by the time the 12 week scan comes around! x
