I never seem to quite fit into any of the existing posts so thought I’d create my own.

Feel free to join me.

I ‘think’ I’m due af around 17th May, but knowing me will start testing from around 11th onwards as I’m a total poas addict.

I say I think that’s when my af is due because in the past my cycles have been around 37 dats long. Ovulating around cd22.

But thus cycle I took soy isoflavones after researching about them, hearing they can bring ovulation forward, and amazingly I got my positive ovulation test on cd14! So if my luteal phase remains the same which I think it’s meant to, then I’d be due af 14 days after that (my luteal phase is 14 days long).

I’ve been known to test from 7dpo though so not holding out much hope of me staying strong 😂 that’s the trouble with having a ton of ic tests burning a hole in my drawer!

@ThirdTimeLuckyIHope yeah my Christmas was super quiet, we normally spend it with all the family, so this was our first year just the 2 of us.. And the last year!
Ahh exciting! Did you go for a private one just before Christmas?
I really hope he makes an appearance early.. But he's probably going to be stubborn and make me wait another 5 weeks!

@Pol96 yeah we went for a private one just before Christmas and found out we're having a boy 💙 also found out I have an anterior placenta which is annoying 😢 I have to wait longer to feel movement

@Pol96 it was ok thank you but we have to go back for another one as they couldn't finish all the checks because baby was all curled up.

I have started to get some bits and pieces now and my SIL gave us a Moses basket. No luck with names yet though 🙄.

How are you? And sign of your little man yet he must be due anytime. I'm excited for you 🥳 also still curious what name you picked 😂

My 20 week scan he was either curled up or moving a lot.. The sonographer kept telling him off. He only just got the measurements!
Ooh love baby shopping. We got our travel system the weekend after our 20 week scan, it's been set up on our hallway every since!
39 weeks today and doing everything we can to get him out! So fed up now as I can't get comfortable 😅 so grateful to be pregnant and having him, but my god I want him out now, just want to cuddle him! X

@Pol96 yeah sorry forgot I changed it again just went back to my original so indecisive.

Which travel system did you go for? I think I've found one that has everything we need my mum and dad are getting it for us.

39 weeks he's obviously comfy where he is. Lots of walking and a spicy curry might do the trick not that it's easy to get out and about at the moment.

We went for the mamas and papas Ocarro in navy.
We're trying everything! Currently bouncing on a ball lol, my bump is getting lower so hopefully he'll be here soon.. But I have a feeling he's going to be stubborn and I'll go over!

I can't say I blame him given the state of the world at the moment he probably wants to stay nice and warm and cosy where he is

Hi girls, just thought I'd give you an update..
Baby Finley was born 21.1.21 weighing 7lb 13oz
Were both still in hospital as the birth was difficult (forceps and episiotomy) and we got infections. Think we're both on the mend now 🤞 x

@Pol96 congratulations that's fab news. Hope you can both get home soon. Sounds like the birth was traumatic but I'm sure he was worth it.

Finlay is a lovely name 💙

We ended up staying in for 5 days, I ended up with a blood transfusion and a whole load of drugs I had to continue to take when I got out and Finley had to have a lumbar puncture amongst other tests.. He is 3 weeks old today and as of Tuesday weighs 8lb12oz (he dropped to 7lb 4oz in hospital by day 3) so he's doing well.

I'm not sure if anyone still looks at this thread but just wanted to check in. I'm counting down the days until my c-section 12 days to go as baby is breech.

@Pol96 my little boy Dexter Alan arrived on 26 May. He was born with a hole in his heart so we've had lots of appointments but all things look positive and otherwise he's doing well was 6 weeks old yesterday.

I'm absolutely shattered but loving it.

@Babydust13 oh wow! Congratulations!! Glad he's doing better now. How much did he weigh?

I'm okay thanks. Exhausted, Finley doesn't really sleep 😴 he'll be 6 months in 2 weeks (currently 24 weeks as of.. Yesterday, Thursday) x

@Pol96 he was 5lb 2 little diddy thing he's on special protein milk because he wasn't putting on weight fast enough but he's just been weighed and has made it to 6lb 4

I can't believe Finley is almost 6 months time flies.

Coffee is my new best friend I don't think there's anyway to prepare for how tired it makes you

I miss coffee, I'm still breastfeeding so have to limit my caffeine 😕
Finleys now starting to sleep a bit better (not great but still better lol)
He was last weighed at 18lb 6oz and is just over 28 weeks now. He's getting close to crawling too now! X
