I never seem to quite fit into any of the existing posts so thought I’d create my own.

Feel free to join me.

I ‘think’ I’m due af around 17th May, but knowing me will start testing from around 11th onwards as I’m a total poas addict.

I say I think that’s when my af is due because in the past my cycles have been around 37 dats long. Ovulating around cd22.

But thus cycle I took soy isoflavones after researching about them, hearing they can bring ovulation forward, and amazingly I got my positive ovulation test on cd14! So if my luteal phase remains the same which I think it’s meant to, then I’d be due af 14 days after that (my luteal phase is 14 days long).

I’ve been known to test from 7dpo though so not holding out much hope of me staying strong 😂 that’s the trouble with having a ton of ic tests burning a hole in my drawer!

@Pol96 31 May feels like ages away but I'm sure it will be here in no time my next scan is 11 Jan but we might book another private one for before Christmas I'm really impatient want to find out what we're having not that I'm bothered I'm hoping it will just make picking a name a bit easier 😂

@ThirdTimeLuckyIHope it will definitely get here quicker than you think.. Those first 12 weeks drag.. Then it gets quick.. We booked a private scan for 18+2 and 27+2 also in the hopes of naming 😂
Honestly I'm now getting rather uncomfortable.. Really hoping he comes around 37 weeks so it's only 6 weeks left.. But due dates in 9 weeks.. Single digits!

@Pol96 I was just wondering should I still be taking folic acid? I'm 13 weeks now I will carry on taking my vitamin D but I wasn't sure if folic acid is still needed. Thanks

@ThirdTimeLuckyIHope I've not stopped.. I'm taking the pregnacare original and a vegan omega 3. I believe you can stop if you want to after 12 weeks though x

@ThirdTimeLuckyIHope I'm okay, my Spd is getting worse which isn't fun but it'll be worth it when in 5-10 weeks my little boy turns up!

My friend had SPD she said it was horrible I hope yours doesn't get to bad

How's everyone doing today.?

I've just ordered a couple Of bits to make my OH a Christmas gift from bump (although I don't have a bump yet 😂)

I've been feeling super tired lately and don't have much of an appetite 14 weeks today

I booked a private scan for just before Christmas when I'll be 16+5 I just don't think I can wait until after Christmas I'm quite anxious and just want to check everything is going ok

I didn't have any appetite from about 6weeks onwards.. It comes and goes still now at 33 weeks!

Ooh exciting! What dates your scan? Are you finding out the sex?

I am absolutely shattered, can't sleep, spd is horrid hope you don't get it! And the heartburn is back with a vengeance. Positive thinking though.. 3 weeks 6 days till "full term" and 6 weeks 6 days till due date so not too long to go!! We have everything ready, his personalised Teddy to tell people his name arrived today too 😊 x

@Pol96 I just got him a T-shirt that says daddysaurus a babygrow that says me and mummy love daddy and a newborn survival kit for dads 😂

My scan is booked for the 19th and we're hoping to find out what we're having although the last couple of times I've been for a scan they always tell me baby is being awkward and hiding 😂

Have you kept the name a secret from everyone? We're still struggling for a boys name but have plenty of time

Do you know if I can take antacids I've attached a pic I have such bad acid reflux today

😂 My private scans he's always been sleeping and nhs the sonographer tells him of for wiggling around too much!
Not telling everyone (except the fb page for Jan babies) can't post it on here as a friend knows my user name 😅
I've been eating rennie like sweets, I don't know about the ones you've posted but I know rennie and gavisgon are both fine to take x

@Pol96 aw I'll have to wait like everyone else lol I'm so impatient my sister in law just had a little girl and she didn't find out what she was having or tell anyone the name and it drove me mad 😂😂😂 she called her Matilda and she's a week old now I finally get to meet her tomorrow

I've been looking for inspiration on here but everyone seems to just mention the same names over and over

I think I'll just take 1 I'm sure it can't hurt. Thank you

@Pol96 all good thank you. Had a very nice Christmas quieter than normal but still lovely.

I'm 19 weeks on Monday I'm excited for my 20 week scan on the 11th.

I've started buying a few small bits only because they were good deals in the sale.
