I never seem to quite fit into any of the existing posts so thought I’d create my own.

Feel free to join me.

I ‘think’ I’m due af around 17th May, but knowing me will start testing from around 11th onwards as I’m a total poas addict.

I say I think that’s when my af is due because in the past my cycles have been around 37 dats long. Ovulating around cd22.

But thus cycle I took soy isoflavones after researching about them, hearing they can bring ovulation forward, and amazingly I got my positive ovulation test on cd14! So if my luteal phase remains the same which I think it’s meant to, then I’d be due af 14 days after that (my luteal phase is 14 days long).

I’ve been known to test from 7dpo though so not holding out much hope of me staying strong 😂 that’s the trouble with having a ton of ic tests burning a hole in my drawer!

Good luck to everyone else.

Thanks everyone, I’m going to try to stay positive but realistic. If this doesn’t stick then I still have ubiquinol to arrive and try next cycle.
Maybe it was ordering those and 50 more ovulation and pregnancy tests that got me a bfp 😂

@notyetamumbuttrying I’m sorry you’ve seen another bfn, if I don’t end up joining you on the next cycle I’ll keep rooting for your bfp

notyetamumbuttrying · 10/06/2020 09:12

Thanks @Blondiemum1980 yeah I guess. I always have the hope that it'll be bfp so it is sad but onwards and upwards!
Thanks @Moominmiss! Best of luck to you 🍀

DressingGownofDoom · 10/06/2020 14:05

Thanks for your kind words, I've taken this one and got a sort of squinter? It's really annoying me now, either be positive or negative, you can't be both! Might go and get a frer.

@Moominmiss tentative congratulations on your possible bfp there!

Afternoon ladies

Just thought I'd check in and see how you all are 😊

Anymore testing?

My symptoms seem to have disappeared apart from the sore boobs so trying to enjoy feeling a bit normal again rather than freaking out that it's a bad thing

8 weeks tomorrow and 1 more week until my next scan

MrsLully · 11/06/2020 13:17

No more doubts...

I'm on 3 different threads with you @MrsLully so I've seen this post 3 times now 😆 so glad you've got written confirmation now, you must be ecstatic! 🤗🥳
Good luck for your scan next week @BabyDust13! I'm cd2 so waiting for my evening primrose oil and new opk's to arrive!

Moominmiss · 11/06/2020 13:30

Well I either had a few dodgy tests or it’s yet another chemical.

So the test on the evening of 8dpo was a faint, but there line, test morning of 9dpo was positive.

Tested in the afternoon of 9dpo bfn, tested in the evening another squinted but pink line.

Tested this morning 10dpo bfn.

So I’m not prepared to waste a frer when I’m not getting any consistent.

I had been feeling queasy and had sore nipples, both of which have gone, so my guess is it implanted, have off a short spurt of hormones and then failed. Hence the very quick bfp-bfn change.

So fed up. I’ve started on the ubiquinol today and I’ve booked a telephone appointment with a nice lady doctor for next week so I can talk to her about the fact I’ve now had 3 losses within the last 6 months. So it doesn’t seem like getting pregnant is the issue, it’s keeping hold of it.

So either poor quality eggs with no chance, low progesterone, or crappy lining which is entirely possible after 3 c sections.

Not sure if she’ll even let me have any blood tests done, I’m not hopeful seeing as I’ve got 3 kids from a previous relationship and I’m 37, but I can only ask!

So confident I’ll be onto cycle 10 of ttc soon!

Thanks @notyetamumbuttrying i am equally terrified and excited!!! 😂😂😂🥳

notyetamumbuttrying · 11/06/2020 13:57

God yeah I bet @MrsLully I'm sure all we be fine though. Exciting times!!
Best of luck with the apt @Moominmiss I hope you get the outcome you want! I'd be interested to know how you get on with the ubiquinol too. I'm going onto cycle 10 next as well, sucks!

BabyDust13 · 11/06/2020 17:23

@MrsLully congratulations

BabyDust13 · 11/06/2020 17:26

@Moominmiss I hope the dr can give you some answers. Chemicals are the worst

Sending baby dust

BabyDust13 · 11/06/2020 17:27

@notyetamumbuttrying sorry this wasn't your month x

notyetamumbuttrying · 11/06/2020 18:38

Thanks @BabyDust13! Hopefully July is 🤞🏾

Blondiemum1980 · 11/06/2020 19:56

Congrats @MrsLullly, nothing quite like seeing it on a digi!

@Moominmiss I’m really sorry. It’s utterly shite. I’m sure they’ll run some tests & hopefully it’s something that’s easily fixable. Thinking of you x

Hey @BabyDust13! Eeek that’s exciting!! I bet your counting down the days! I’m pleased you’re feeling better x

@DressingGownofDoom are you ok?

BFN’s for me so far. 9dpo today & lots of AF cramps. Fairly sure it’s not my month again. Never mind, maybe next

BabyDust13 · 16/06/2020 18:30

Hey everyone

How you all getting on? Has anyone been testing?

Fun fact I no longer drink tea after a projectile vomit incident this morning

Also I feel sick if I'm not eating but I don't fancy any food especially meat and fruit

3 days until scan day Saturday

Moominmiss · 16/06/2020 18:54

@BabyDust13 hey!

I bet you’re so so excited for Saturday to come and you get to see baby again!

Not so great about the projectile vom though 🤮

I have my doctors (telephone) appointment tomorrow so will see if I get fobbed off or taken seriously. I feel super anxious and nervous about talking about it all, as I feel like she’ll just think I’m some neurotic, obsessed woman.
But I’ll come and update everyone regardless.

I’m still waiting for af to start. I think it’ll start tomorrow. Just impatient to start the next cycle. I don’t know what else I can possibly do though. I mean we dtd at all the right times this cycle, got pregnant, but lost it again. So the only thing I’m currently doing differently at the moment is taking ubiquinol. But I’m pretty sure that won’t make any difference until it’s been in my system building up for a few months. Considering taking a low dose of aspirin from ovulation, but will see what the doctor suggests tomorrow!

Keep your fingers crossed for me!!! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

@Moominmiss I hope your doctor is helpful. It can really do wonders to have a good chat about it all.

I had two chemicals and I spoke to my doctor because I was worried and she said although it hadn't been a year of trying she would send me for some blood tests just to put my mind at ease and check things were normal. When she rang me with the results we had a good chat and it really put my mind at rest then a month later boom so far so good.

Blondiemum1980 · 20/06/2020 09:08

Good luck today @BabyDust13! I hope you’re ok (apart from the tea incident!) please let us know how you get on xx

I had another chemical again this month. Life sucks sometimes. I’ve also spoken with my doc & I had bloods taken yesterday. Will hopefully hear back early next week. She’s also referred me to the recurrent miscarriage unit - I think due to my age as well as the 3 losses now. It would be nice to find out if something is deficient & treatable rather than just my age 🙈 I’ve started taking Ubiquinol, Soy Isoflavones CD 4 to CD 8, I’ll start baby Asprin too along side the usual Folic Acid & Vit D. Probably too soon to be effective this cycle, but we’ll see... just got to get OH in the sack at the right times now! He’s started taking the Wellman Conception supplements too, so that’s a major win 🙌🏻

BabyDust13 · 20/06/2020 11:43

Thanks @Blondiemum1980 I'm super nervous I've had some light bleeding this morning which isn't making me feel any less anxious.

Sorry to hear about your chemical but it's good news that your doctor is being helpful hopefully you'll get some answers soon but it sounds like you are doing everything you can to help x

BabyDust13 · 21/06/2020 08:59

Morning ladies

So I had my scan yesterday and unfortunately there was no heartbeat detected.

So it's a MMC not really sure what the next step is waiting for the EPU to give me a call tomorrow

Obviously me and my OH are pretty devastated but I know it can't be helped and sometimes these things just happen

I guess we're just going to take some time and then try again

Sorry to put a downer on the thread - I hope you are all doing well.

I'm not going anywhere and hope to see some bfp from you all soon 🥰

Blondiemum1980 · 21/06/2020 09:35

Oh @BabyDust13, I’m so so sorry. That is awful for you. Life really is shite sometimes. I hope EPU get in touch soon and you’re not in limbo for too long. Be gentle with yourself, sending you massive hugs, take care, we are all here for you xxx

notyetamumbuttrying · 21/06/2020 10:19

So sorry to hear this @BabyDust13! Please take care. Thanks

Pol96 · 22/06/2020 08:00

@BabyDust13 I am so sorry for your loss. Take care of yourself x

Moominmiss · 28/06/2020 14:36

@BabyDust13 I’m only just logging on for the first time in a little while. I am devastated to read your update. I am so so sorry.

Please be kind to yourself and have your phone look after you. It’s truly such a heartbreaking thing to happen and so cruel.

I hope your epu are looking after you well. I assume by now they got back in touch with you?

Sending you lots of love and hugs.

I’ve tried to take a step back this month. Since my last chemical I’ve felt quite low. I had my telephone appointment with my doctor which was fine.

She agrees I clearly don’t have a fertility issue as I can fall pregnant fairly easily, but keeping hold if it seems to be the problem for my body.

She has referred me to a specialist consultant at the hospital but I’ve heard nothing since. I assume it will be a long process so in the mean time we’re just carrying on as normal.

I took soy isoflavones again this cycle and got my positive last night so thinking I’ll ovulate today which is cd13. That’ll be my earliest ovulation. I’m also taking ubiquinol, vit d, and today I started a low dose (75mg) of aspirin. Don’t know if I should have or not but I figure at this point with so many chemicals it’s worth a try.

How is everyone else doing?

OP posts:
BabyDust13 · 30/06/2020 09:56

Thanks everyone

It's been really difficult but my OH and my family have been amazing.

I opted to have the medically managed miscarriage and had the tablets last weds. I'm still bleeding quite heavy and getting clots but the pain hasn't been to bad. (Sorry if TMI)

The local EPU have been amazing and I can call them anytime.

I honestly thought getting pregnant was the hard part but I was wrong. We're going to give it a few months I think. The wait for my body to get back to normal will take a while anyway and I'm not sure I'm ready for another emotional rollercoaster anytime soon.

But we won't give up hope. I think once we do start trying again I'm going to take a much more relaxed approach. No peeing on sticks for ovulation or until my periods late. Just back to tracking my period and hoping for the best.

I'll definitely be sticking around here to wish you all luck and shower you with baby dust.

@Moominmiss I'm glad your doctor has referred you. At least you can have some tests and put your mind at rest

Hope the rest of you are all well and I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for all of you 😘🤞🏼🌈
