I never seem to quite fit into any of the existing posts so thought I’d create my own.

Feel free to join me.

I ‘think’ I’m due af around 17th May, but knowing me will start testing from around 11th onwards as I’m a total poas addict.

I say I think that’s when my af is due because in the past my cycles have been around 37 dats long. Ovulating around cd22.

But thus cycle I took soy isoflavones after researching about them, hearing they can bring ovulation forward, and amazingly I got my positive ovulation test on cd14! So if my luteal phase remains the same which I think it’s meant to, then I’d be due af 14 days after that (my luteal phase is 14 days long).

I’ve been known to test from 7dpo though so not holding out much hope of me staying strong 😂 that’s the trouble with having a ton of ic tests burning a hole in my drawer!

@Pol96 hey all good thank you my 12 week scan is coming up on weds I'll be so glad when that's all done. I've had some bad cramps and lower back ache the last couple of days but it isn't all the time it just comes and goes so I'm hoping it's just stretching.

How's everything with you?

@ThirdTimeLuckyIHope that’s amazing!!! 12 week scan already. You must feel so happy to be at that point already.
How have you been up to now? Much sickness?
I forget, did you have an earlier scan or will this be your first time seeing baby?
I actually got a bfp 3 days ago. Was very faint and wasn’t sure it’d become anything, but over the last few days it progressed and got my confirmation on digital this morning so only about 4+3, extremely early days. After all the losses this year I won’t feel relaxed until I see it on a scan so will book one for a few weeks I think 🤞🏻

You’ll have to make sure you come back to post your scan pic and update us! Xx

@ThirdTimeLuckyIHope that's come around so fast! So glad all is going well. It is most probably stretching.. Pregnancy can be quite uncomfortable at times!

I'm good thank you, 30 weeks today, had a private 4d scan a couple of weeks ago to check on little man and all good.. Hopefully he'll be here in 7-10 weeks! X

I had a 4d scan with my daughter, it was amazing.

@Moominmiss I know it's gone so fast and slow at the same time!
The 4d scans are amazing, definitely recommend them. I've attached one of my scan pics.. And a bump pic from today lol x

@Pol96 omg!!!! Look at him. He already looks so perfect. It’s so incredible how well you can see him. My daughter really did look like her when she came out. Was incredible.
Your bump looks lovely too, so neat! A definite boy bump!!

@Moominmiss thank you! I honestly can't wait to have him here, his rooms all ready (not that he's going in there straight away) travel system all here, starting washing all his clothes this weekend so I can pack hospital bags.. All getting very real.

I had an early scan and all was good so hoping everything goes smoothly at my 12 week scan feels like it's taken forever to get here

Hello all, I was on this thread way back in July. @Moominmiss congratulations on your BFP - you might remember I had multiple losses too in oddly similar circumstances to you - weirdly, I got a bfp yesterday!! Need to phone the recurrent miscarriage clinic tomorrow morning and let them know!

@ThirdTimeLuckyIHope we didn't buy anything other than some socks between the 12 week scan and a private gender scan at 18 weeks (then bought a couple of little boy clothes) .. Then once we had the nhs anomaly Scan we went out and bought a travel system and next to me crib. Got the cot for his room a few weeks ago too. He has a full set of drawers with newborn - 6months now so hopefully enough. Quite glad we have it all now as we're in another lockdown!

I’m so pleased you had a great early scan, I’m sure your 12 week one will be just as perfect! There’s no reason to think otherwise!
You must be so excited.
But I agree that time goes so incredibly slowly through all parts of ttc and then pregnancy!

@DressingGownofDoom that’s amazing news! Congratulations!!! That’s kind of freaky that we’ve had losses at similar points and now have our bfp’s again within days of each other! Fingers crossed this is it for us now xx

Does anyone think lower abdomen pain might mean UTI? Because the cramps and lower back ache are really driving me insane this evening. 🤔

@ThirdTimeLuckyIHope I had lower abdominal pain just before my 12 week scan and nothing came up when testing for a uti, they thought that it was just pressure from the baby/growing. Definitely get seen if it's bad x

@Pol96 thanks I'm going to drink plenty of water over the weekend see how it goes it isn't all the time so maybe it is just baby growing - have you picked a name? You don't have to say it just curious 🙂

@ThirdTimeLuckyIHope yeah mine wasn't all the time either.. The doctor wasn't concerned at all
And names.. We think we may have a name.. We need to decide if we're 100% set on it as I want to get a personalised Teddy for him x

@Pol96 I actually really like the name Teddy 😂 my OH is very difficult when it comes to names he says no a lot but has no helpful ideas

@ThirdTimeLuckyIHope 😂 we did discuss teddy (Theodore) but that's not the one we're on at the moment! Choosing a name is so hard!
