AF arrived today - Testing end of May / early June buddies

Thought I’d make a thread for anyone who may be having a visit from AF currently and be testing similar time to me.

I’m 29, boyfriend is 27
TTC baby number 1, cycle 2 (ish.. we half tried last month but didn’t track anything!)
Trying SMEP this month
AF came today and is due 30th May

If everyone is on a similar date and wants to support each other then feel free to jump on 🙋🏼‍♀️☀️❤️

@motherofdinosau thanks for your reply. It's lower again now, so confusing. Hopefully I'll maybe get my peak tomorrow. I had gone for a run this morning so perhaps I was just dehydrated when I tested early this afternoon

Hay ladies. Hope you are all doing well. I am currently CD17 and just finished SMEP. Feeling super positive that cycle 10 this month is our lucky one. How is everyone else getting on with their cycles this month? X

@naera95 LOVE the positivity! CD13 for me and also following SMEP, no positive ovulation test yet but will continue to test daily. It’s my birthday the day after AF is due so I think I’ll avoid testing until after to avoid any possible disappointment .. but then also think AHH I’d love to have a positive on my birthday and surprise my boyfriend with a present of his own! X

@Littlebee1990 fingers crossed for you this cycle. I've read loads of women using SMEP this month, will be great to see a flurry of BFPs.

I'm delighted to get a solid smiley this morning! I'm going to be busy for the next few days lol.

Anyone a couple dpo or further along yet? Anyone who’s done this before is there anything to look out for cm wise post ovulation? I’m only 5dpo already wondering if a few sharp twinges, little bit of back ache and a funny feeling is something I’ve imagined or actually different to normal 😅🤔 back ache could be from the poor office chair when working from home though! x

@Lilyduke I got my solid smiley after 2 days of flashing. So we are at the same point of the month!

Hope everyone is doing ok. My solid smiley today has changed my predicted ov day to today/tomorrow on my app and not Friday. So I'm glad I tested or I could've missed it!

@Alice8688 I actually thought I ovulated much later than this in my cycle so I was pleasantly surprised this morning to see the static smiley. Do you normally have a 14 day LP? We managed to DTD quickly before leaving for work this morning. Are you following SMEP?

Hi everyone! I'm currently on CD12 after coming off the pill at end of April (counting withdrawal bleed as CD1...), no idea if my cycle will get back to what it was previously, but if it does I think I'm expecting ov day 19th May and AF due 1 June... I'm doing BBT and also OPKs (first time with these!) and taking supplements - totally throwing myself into this!! Finding it hard in lockdown to think about anything else - this month has been dragging!

@Lilyduke exactly the same here. My app always predicts ov on day 15ish then I have a 13-14 day LP. (I used to have a 28-29 day cycle) But the last 2 months my cycles have been 26 and 27 days and the app never changed the ov date. So I thought best to test and was surprised with the static today. But like you: pleasantly so!

We've managed once today 😂

Not religiously following smep (I never seem to be able to!) have dtd CD 9, 10 and now 12. Had flashing smiley days 10 and 11 and today is static day 12. Hoping with dtd today tomorrow and probably Friday it'll be enough. Xxx

Today is CD15. So my app predicts my ovulation day as today.. still no smiley on the ovulation test. Following SMEP and DTD CD6, CD10, CD12 & CD14.

First time using ovulation testing and of course I’ve now convinced myself I don’t ovulate 🤣🙈 Lets hope for a smiley tomorrow (as it’s DTD day too)

@Littlebee1990 Same! Flo predicts I'm ovulating today and Ovia predicts in 2 days. They both have the same info in them 🤦🏻‍♀️ and yet still ⭕️ on the ovulation tests!

We're just DTD anyway and hoping I get a positive in the next couple of day. I, like you, have now convinced myself I don't ovulate 🙈🤣

@RDC2020 Haha what are we like!!! Are you following SMEP? We have to DTD every other day and then 3 days in a row on the day of the smiley so that’s why I hope it does come on a DTD day.. 4 days in a row plus both of us still working full time from home sounds tiring 🤣

@Littlebee1990 We've been DTD most days since my app has said "fertile window" - clearly enthusiasm for the first month TTC. 😂
I'm a teacher so not in work atm - which makes it easier to fit it in! Haha. I think next month we'll do SMEP - just hoping that I find out when I actually ovulate!

I've got some EWCM today and yet still ⭕️ 🤷🏻‍♀️ might try and test tonight as well.

Hi all! I think I’m now about 2dpo (CD 18 though not tracking with opks etc yet as this is our first month and we are supposed to be ‘relaxed’... obviously I’m not). Not massively hopeful as both dp and I have had enormously stressful weeks at work so not dtd enough! And I suspect stress also has an effect on the outcome but we’ll see!! Am trying not to want it too much this month...

Joining. Af due 31 may and due to ovulate tommorow although im tracking with opk so looking to test end of the month if i can hold on that long!

CD17 & I finally got my smiley on the OPK! Following SMEP and was supposed to dtd yesterday but ending up watching a film and dtd around 1am so I’m like hmmm did we dtd yesterday or today.. either way I guess we have 3 more days of dtd including today.. I always knew smiley would come on a not dtd day 🤣 How is everyone? X

I'm 28 this month, and we have a 2.5 yo DD so trying for #2.

I came off the pill in January in (unconcious!!) preperation and have had 2 regular cycles. We caught on the second cycle with DD so we'll see I suppose 😬

We DTD for the first time without BC last night and apparently I ovulate tomorrow. I'm cycle day 14 according to my app

Feels strange to be back on the conception board! At least we'll have something to do during furlough 😂 Lovely to be going through this at same time!
