AF arrived today - Testing end of May / early June buddies

Thought I’d make a thread for anyone who may be having a visit from AF currently and be testing similar time to me.

I’m 29, boyfriend is 27
TTC baby number 1, cycle 2 (ish.. we half tried last month but didn’t track anything!)
Trying SMEP this month
AF came today and is due 30th May

If everyone is on a similar date and wants to support each other then feel free to jump on 🙋🏼‍♀️☀️❤️

@Poppyismyfavourite that's what people say but I honestly don't understand how that's the case if these tests are meant to be sensitive up to 6 days before a missed period. I'm CD 34. Are you normally ever this late?

@GraceG26 I'm not entirely sure what "normal" is for me unfortunately - I came off the pill (progesterone only), had a period, then 30 day cycle, now this one is 34 days. Last time I had regular periods was 10 years ago, and at 18 I didn't care enough to track them properly lol. Think they were normal 28-30 days though

Hi everyone this is my first cycle TTC! I'm on CD28 today. My cycles vary a lot and can range from 22 - 39 days! But it's most often 23-27 days, so I'm surprised AF hasn't showed yet (esp as my last cycle was 23 days). I've been getting proper period cramps for the past 3-4 days, back aches, mood swings and have had extremely painful boobs for a week now, but no AF.

I've tested almost every day since CD23 on cheap tests: all negative. Today I did FRER - also negative 😔 this pretty much means there's no hope left, right?

@acaciabluebell I am exactly the same! I feel feel as though my AF is coming today but it should have already and I also have negative tests!

It's sooo frustrating! I'm genuinely surprised every time I go to the toilet and there's nothing. I normally have spotting for a good 2 days before my period starts, but I don't even have that. But the negative FRER test has gotten rid of any hope I had now ☹️ I guess it's a late period for me

@acaciabluebell honestly, we are in exactly the same boat! I normally spot for a couple of days before as well and still nothing today. I had cramping which normally feels like the start this morning but absolutely nothing since!
I am holding out for every single bit of hope that I will get a positive but it isn't likely at all, is it? I had a negative clear blue this morning ☹️

I'm now on cycle day 35, 36 tomorrow.
No period and 3 BFNs.

I've had cramping on and off since last week. Yesterday I had what can only be described as Snot like discharge but only once.
Today, it appears I'm constipated after having loose stools last week and had some pink vaginal discharge after a bowel movement.....
....then nothing. Its stopped.

Latest, I'm 7 days late, earliest I'm 5 days.

Does it sound like my period is starting? Is it even possible to be pregnant after 3 negative results?

We are in a similar position! I wish I knew the answer to your question.... I have kind of given up on this month now because I got negative results on FRER tests, which is a very sensitive test. I'm currently on CD29, my cycle is normally between 23-27 days.

So my PMS symptoms (cramping, painful nipples and boobs, backache) have disappeared today. But no sign of AF, and obvs many negative PTs. Anyone experienced this??

Started spotting so I'm pretty sure AF is here! Boooooooo. Oh well, onto the next month. Good luck to the rest of you ladies! x

@acaciabluebell I am honestly the same. I woke up again with some really mild cramping thinking I'd find spotting or something early this morning and absolutely nothing for the rest of the day. I have lower back pain today.
Negative Clear blue yesterday morning - a nightmare...I've just had enough now of waiting for AF to come if it's going to!

Well finally a result! It's faint but definitely there!

@Poppyismyfavourite CONGRATULATIONS! That is such exciting news! You must be delighted because, like me, you thought you were out this morning.
Can I ask when the last time was you'd test with a bfn? Which cycle day?
I'm CD37 with no sign of AF...just cramps occasionally or lower back pain...
Do you have any symptoms?

@GraceG26 I had negatives on days 30, 32, 34. Today is day 38.
Not entirely sure when I ovulated this month but I guess it doesn't matter now. I think I'm 18-21 dpo.

@Poppyismyfavourite CD34 was the last time I tested. Did you have any cramping, or any other symptoms? And now?

I tested again this morning and still a bfn. I must be out but I don't understand why I'm so late!

@GraceG26 I'm not really used to having periods so hard to separate out normal symptoms. The clearest difference is bbt - it's been very high (and stayed up) after ovulation - about 0.5 degrees above the same time last month. I had some bleeding last night but it's stopped now so really hoping that's implantation. I have stomach cramps and a headache, and have been having dizzy spells, but I have low blood pressure so that's not too unusual for me.

@Poppyismyfavourite I looked back at my cheap Tesco's own brand HPT after about 30mins this morning and there is a faint line. It must be an evaporation line but it has a bluey colour and I thought evaporation lines didn't have any colour 🤷🏻‍♀️

Hi everyone - I'm still waiting for AF to arrive and my CD 42! I had super light brown spotting yesterday and first thing this morning. Normally I had it slightly heavier followed quickly by AF. Any help or advice on this would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Hi @GraceG26 that must be frustrating! Have you taken any more HPTs? I often get red/brown spotting before my period, so maybe AF is on her way for you?

Thank you @acaciabluebell for taking the time to reply to me. I'm the same, sometimes I have spotting just before but normally it is quickly followed by my period so it's odd this time round.
I took another test this morning and still a negative 🤷🏻‍♀️
