@Boof87 I have my fingers crossed for you! I think you should wait a few more days just to make sure AF doesn't appear.

I waited until several days late until I tested and I was so glad- clear line & no dubiety. Google luck!

@skyla01 thanks. Yeh my expectations are low unless my dates are completely wrong. I work shifts so taking my bbt at the same time is difficult. It's probably just late due to stress, I had a emotional wobbly at the start of the tww this month so its probs that haha!

CD7 so nothing to report here! Will start OPKs this weekend and to BD every other day from Sunday I think.

Spoke to a friend of mine who has a 10 month old baby and made the mistake of asking her how long it took her to conceive. They had BD twice in one cycle and that was it! She told me she thinks there are apps I could look into to track my period as there's a week where it's best to BD apparently. I nearly burst out laughing! Some people are so lucky lol.

My stronger line this morning!! X

@juno231 oh don't even get me started! I have 3 of my closest friends around me at the mo all pregnant on their first try 😑 so lucky! We will have our luck too, just not the right time for us yet!

@mumoftwobeauts oh yeh a clear line there for sure!! Many congrats!

@juno231 do you use fertility friend at all?! That's what I use and it gives me 6days of the 'fertility window'. The app is free but you can pay and upgrade. It works...well not successfully yet...for me! Hope it helps!

I'm 4dpo today and trying for my first. Had a miscarriage in December after trying for 2 months. Been trying now for 5. Had thrush past two days which is so annoying and adds to my worries that it won't implant. 😩 it's so stressful! I stress about stressing- anyone else the same?!

Hi all! Congrats to those of you with BFPs! I’m in my fertility window but won’t be able to DTD more then a couple times... hopefully it will be enough!
Due to ovulate on Wednesday based on previous cycles, so trying to get it done Monday/Tuesday...
This time round I’ve dropped all caffeine leading up to it too, trying to make sure everything is at optimum levels and ready to receive. (No idea if it’s gonna help matters but it makes me feel like I have some control over the situation)...

His all, so my bbt was still high this morning so I tested and I have a bit of a squinter line. No point posting on here coz you cant really see it well. Not getting my hopes up and gonna wait until Weds to test again as I'm at work mon and tues. But promising I guess! We shall see! Just gonna eat healthy, stay active and stay distracted! Hope everyone is ok!

@Boof87 that's sounds really promising! Hopefully you'll have a nice line by Wednesday. When is AF due?

@Ripleysfirst it only takes 1 sperm! So as long as you time it right you'll be in with a good shot!

@skyla01 according to fertility friend it was due on Thurs but I'm thinking maybe my app has messed my dates up which is why I'm not getting hopes up too much. I also had a bfn on tues. Hopefully Weds will come around quick and the line will be darker!

Hi all, well I had some light spotting yesterday and thought that was it, beginning of AF but my temp was high again this morning so did another test with a pretty clear line! So have rung my doc and have a phone call app tomorrow morning! Still a bit sceptical though! Gonna do another test in the morning before my phone call with the doc.

@ripleysfirst sounds like you've got it planned!

Let ya know how the doc chat goes @Boof87 but that sounds really positive! Why are you sceptical?

@ripleysfirst well done! I'm supposed to be ovulating tomorrow/friday but my OPKs are blank so far! Probably a good thing though as only managed to DTD on Sunday and nothing since!

@ripleysfirst I dunno, just not gonna get my hopes up and just take each day as it comes. Probably coz I had bfn on tues (af was due thurs) and it was a specific early test then the test on Sun was very faint positive. Then spotting yesterday. All seems a bit out of place? I dunno, ive never been pregnant so not sure what my body is doing! See how it is tomorrow. Currently 20dpo.

Hope all ok and we get some positives this month!

@Juno231 are you usually quite regular? Did you use OPKs last month?

@ripleysfirst this is cycle 5 of tracking so is a bit hard to say! cycle 1 and 3 I ovulated CD13 whereas cycles 2 and 4 was on CD16. So as I'm on cycle 5 I was hoping we'd be back to CD13 lol? But god knows.

It's supposed to be a myth about the whole alternating ovaries thing but I swear for those cycles it has been, as eg cycle 3 my left side hurt and cycle 4 it was on my right. Would explain the regular irregularities as well!

When is AF due for you ripley? Will you be testing before it's due?

I’m due on June 12th, I’m cycle day 14 today but it’s my 40th birthday June 4th so i may cave and test then even though id only be 8dpo...which writing it out looks silly.

I get the alternating ovaries too! Can feel the paint each month. This month it’s defo the left ovary that did its thing haha although the pain started in my right side...

I'm 8dpo and am going to test on Friday I literally dread testing! I had really bad period like cramps all night and backache as if I was about to come on my period. I have had this every month though- both when I've been pregnant (lost to miscarriage) and when I ended up having AF. Although I doubt I'll get lucky this month, I hold onto that small bit of hope 🤞

@Boof87 I'm cautiously optimistic that it all sounds really good. A clear line is a clear positive I think. But see how you go the next few days. Light bleeding very early on is very common. Keep us updated!

@Ripleysfirst yeah I feel hungover- tired, nauseous, sore boobs, gone off lots of food, peeing a lot. It's funny we spent so long ttc but now we have a bfp i feel rubbish and a bit nervous all the way to 12wk scan to check everything is ok. I thought I'd be over the moon (I am) but also feel crap & anxious. The joys... Hopefully it'll all be worth it in the end!
