I got mine from the pharmacy, it's just 75mg aspirin rather than the normal 200mg (I think it's normally 200)x
Each time I've had a loss I've conceived within a couple of months, so I hold to the theory thats sometimes says a loss makes you more fertile. One little silver lining x

@Sammyclaire22 thank you and yea I'm hoping this is true just have no idea where my cycle is at now 😅 so will just carry on doing what we where doing and wait and see xxx

@Donnat89 how are you doing my lovely? I'm on cycle 15 now and going through infertility investigations. Got an HSG booked for next week and having to get my day 3 blood test redone, as well as OH's SA. It's certainly looking like we'll be going down the IVF route this year!

@Juno231 that's great news this will be my next step however I'm currently on CD 29 and new AF yet was
Due Tuesday . However I've been known to have cycles 30 days long so if now AF by Sunday I will test although it's unlikely to be BFP me And OH haven't been BD much this month due to some family
Stuff etc and defo missed my fertile window !

I have AF pains on and off so I think she's just late !

@Donnat89 sorry to hear you've not had any luck either! I'm due on Friday but think it might even show up early tomorrow based on my temp/RHR.

@Juno231 I've sort of just accepted it is what it is for now ! Yea I am certain mine if on the way my cramps are quite bad this afternoon so I'm thinking tomorrow if not this evening ! Would just like it to arrive now as hate feeling crappy on the run up to it ! Xx

Hi guys, I’m finally back in the two week wait after going for ivf!
Got 11 eggs collected, all fertilised and 5 made it to transfer day, but two still need a bit more development.
They’ve frozen 2 and transferred one today!
It’s so weird to think I could be pregnant at long last.

@Juno231 how was your HSG? Mine I did not enjoy. At all.

@Ripleysfirst omg what a harvest! That's a brilliant outcome. Did you go long or short protocol? I take it your amh is relatively high still as well? My HSG was.. Ok. Not at all as bad as I see some women describe it but the one big cramp I got was genuinely so bad I thought I would poop on the table lol so all my focus was on trying not to do just that! When is your testing day and do you think you'll cave before then? Have you gone the NHS route BTW or private? Sorry for the million questions but I really hope this is it for you!

I went private in the end.
The NHS doc said I had to do IUI first a few times before I’d get free Ivf, and honestly with the waiting lists and all, and the ridiculous costs, and my age being a factor (I’m 40) I ended up doing some sums and realising I might as well just go for private IVF as it’s faster! I ended up choosing a clinic in Denmark as they had excellent reviews, and were just so so friendly (and cheaper than the UK).

I think it’s what they call a short protocol, my bloods were okay, so day two of my period I did an ultrasound and started on menopur 300 a day for 8 days. Another scan a week later and they scheduled my transfer date!

Man, I remember my HSG was SO painful. The catheter slipped out a couple times and they slipped when putting it back in and it hit the edge of my uterus which was NOT fun😬. I am a wuss overall. Let it be said haha.

I’m still in Denmark now, flying home tomorrow and a little worried about all the travel with the bean on board, but I figure I got here with my ovaries full so I should be able to do this!

Oh and testing day is the 25th for a blood test. They said I can test with a HPT on the 28th. I’m guessing because the meds I’m on (they gave me a gonapeptyl shot today which has simulated HSG) would interfere with the results.

So I’m gonna TRY to wait at LEAST until the 25th.

@Juno231 what stage are you in now?

@Ripleysfirst ah that's so cool! Maybe I should consider the Danish clinic then as my family are just across the bridge in Malmo so wouldn't be too bad logistically. Can I ask how much cheaper it was than doing it here? So if you had a 5 day embryo transferred yesterday... wouldn't the 25th make you like 15dpo? I'd totally cave way before then haha.

Oh and I never felt the catheter at all! I can never tell what my pain threshold is like compared to others but I'm starting to think maybe it's a bit higher than average.

It would but the meds I’m taking have fake pregnancy hormones in them so it would potentially give me a false positive!

So they do a package at the clinic, 3 rounds of ivf (not including meds) for £6500.
Vivaneo dk, they were seriously lovely! They also have all their prices up on the website.
I’d really recommend them, it was also a really nice little staycation:)

@Ripleysfirst that's very well priced I think! And yes I forgot about the fake hormones. Got everything crossed for you!

As for what stage I'm at - I had my initial fertility appointment on the nhs on 11th February, where we were told to redo my day 3 + extra blood tests, redo ultrasound, do an HSG and redo my OH's SA. We finished the last test on the 5th of March and now are waiting for a follow up appointment to hear the results. They initially gave us an appt for 8th July but that to me was insane - so I challenged them on it and go it moved to the end of this month! Honestly though I have a feeling everything will come back vanilla and they'll just make us wait for IVF. So we're already gearing up for paying privately for IVF.

@Ripleysfirst how did it go in the end?

Hi @juno231 - well, I’m still very much not pregnant. Had an egg collection which went okay, with 3 embryos fertilised well, one transferred and 2 frozen. The first transfer and the second failed, just didn’t implant, and I’ve got one left :(
Kinda given up hope tbh:(

How are things with you??

@Ripleysfirst ah I'm so sorry to hear that! Do they have any idea why? Any tweaks they can do for the third one? Eg if they suspect NK cells they could suppress that reaction in you. Will you try again if the third one doesn't take? Sorry for the million questions, I just can't believe you're still here :(

I'm just waiting for my next fertility appointment which is due on Thurs - I think it'll be to get the ball rolling on funding applications for IVF. Depending on what's going on with work I might have to put TTC on hold for the rest of the year though so I'll need to chat to my doctor to see what options I have...

Honestly I’m kinda fed up with the clinic, they have done zero investigations after the failed transfers. What are Nk cells?
