Morning ladies. Just got my first ever BFP. After such a long time ttc without a sniff I feel kind of overwhelmed. But delighted of course. Fingers crossed everything goes well. All I can say is good luck to all of you guys and don't give up- I got there in the end!

@Sammyclaire22 I think I'm 9DPO today and for once not tested to test it's been quite nice to turning into a crazy woman this month ! I would like to hold out until AF is due too but we will see ! Still have back ache and I'm quite moody last few days so I'm
Almost certain AF will arrive next week ! I'm hoping next cycle I can use my OPKS properly and track properly but we will see !

Good luck to everyone waiting to test I hope to see some more BFPS ! X

12dpo today and femometer was kind enough to remind me that my period is due tomorrow :) I definitely feel less enthusiastic about trying next cycle than I did at the start of this one...

OH is just blissfully unaware, I reckon if I never updated him he wouldn't notice me being pregnant until I had a big bump! He has no clue when my period is due and doesn't seem to get that when it comes it means another month where it didn't work. 🙊

@Juno231 thank you. Keep going- I know ttc sucks sometimes but you'll get there. It is frustrating when it starts to take longer than you want. I was quite glad that my DP didn't take too much interest in my cycle. I had enough emotions of my own to manage I didn't want his expectation on me too!

@Juno231 my OH is the same , and sometimes I'm glad of it other times i wish he would obsess just a little more so I didn't feel so crazy !

I'm feeling chilled this month and not expecting a. BFP and I do feel it is making the TWW more bearable!

Hopefully AF stays away from you ! X

Amazing news @skyla01! Always lovely to have some positive outcomes on these threads.

9dpo too, no unusual symptoms or signs either. Knowing I'm waiting until next week has actually felt like the few has gone quicker than normal, usually I'm testing about now and as @skylar01 says it's an awful lot cheaper!

I'm glad my oh doesnt notice, I couldn't cope with looking after his emotions about it along with mine. I'm sure he would remind me just when I've forgotten about it too! Although sometimes it feels like it's such a huge mental load that he doesn't have to cope with all the time

Ah it's more that there's a pretty big lack of understanding or empathy from him because he's so oblivious to it all that bothers me. I told him yday that this month looks like a dud too and he didn't really say anything. Half an hour later when I still seemed down he asked me what was wrong! He just couldn't put two and two together as it didn't bother him in the first place argh. Oh well.

@Skyla01 I really need to give that Bettina a try to calm the heck down :)

@Juno231 sounds like a bad day all round. Tomorrow will be better! Sorry OH isn't really getting it. Defo try the yoga! At first I couldn't really visualise things and struggled to see the positives but I did the same video a few times and the message & calmness got through. And a cycle later- success!

Hi Ladies, I’ve read your thread, I hope you don’t mind me joining? I feel a bit like I am going crazy about this too! This is our 3rd month TTC, so I went all pour and got the ovulation strips, seed lubricant and the vitamins for me and SO 😂👌🏼
I just give them him with his dinner and he takes them like a good ‘en...
By my app I should ovulate in 6 days so I’m going to start doing the deed tomorrow, how often would you recommend?
Also my cycles are 25 days so a little short, anyone else similar cycle to me?
TIA and I hope you don’t mind me joining :)
Ps I am also on setraline too

@Ripleysfirst af came along early for me too today :( which will make it a 24 day cycle so short like yours @Hjp03022009 . It's normally 25-26 days, I'm pretty low today if I'm honest as I'd been religious with tracking bbt & using the strips, but I guess glad the wait is over quickly, got everything crossed for a Valentines baby for us all!

For the time being I'm going to watch Netflix and eat chocolate, then back on the health game and positivity tomorrow Smile x

Yep it is helping @Ripleysfirst! I almost cried in the post office earlier at the sight of a baby in a pram so hormones and emotions are running high. Luckily OH is out at work & it's my day off so I have a few hours to myself before I need to cheer up and put a brave face on! x

Hi all, I’m really struggling today as I can feel my AF is coming. I really thought this cycle would be it and I’m worried now going into the 7th month. I’m struggling to remain positive and feel very down about it all.

Hoping everyone else gets their happy positives.

@rhall26 big hugs, it’s hard work TTC. Never thought it would be this hard! Be kind to yourself. As much as I feel like I’m doing something wrong, so much of all this is just out of our hands. All we can do is our best ❤️

Well I'm rubbish at willpower- i got in a funk last night so did a cheapie and saw a shadow, so did a frer not expecting anything and there was a faint second line. Retested today and it's slightly darker! Not getting my hopes up too much incase it's another chemical, and then I still have to hope it's in the right place 🤞🤞

Keep positive @rhall26- it took 12m first time round for me to conceive at all then it was ectopic and I thought we were out for good, but even with one tube I got pregnant the next month. This time round I expected it to take even longer if i could get pregnant at all, but this is the second time ive conceived in 9 cycles so it's worth holding out hope x

@Sammyclaire22 it's starting to sink in! Still don't "feel" very pregnant but I guess that will come in time. I'm a little bit anxious about mc risk (no personal experience but i know it's common) however going to try and enjoy this time as much as possible. And hopefully all will go well- for you too of course. Have you told DP?

I checked my apps they are saying I'm actually 11DPO so I won't have to wait much longer

Haven't tested and don't plan too until Wednesday - that's when my aps say AF is due but I've been late last 2 cycles and didn't track properly so it's not exact . All I know it's next week AF is due .

Still have back ache and have had sharp cramping / pressure this morning so almost certain AF will appear just have to wait and see !

Being more chilled and not testing is helping though !

@Skyla01 i told him last night, I wasn't going to until I had a strong line but I knew i would be out of sorts for the next few days which isn't fair on him. Have you told yours?
Fc for you @donnat89, the only possible symptom I've had the odd extra little sharp cramping, other than that it's been my usual pmt stuff like craving carbs and being a bit arsey so was assuming AF was on her way!
