Long Cycle girls TTC :)

Hi everyone who read this! My typical cycle is 34-37 days long but everyone I talk to seems to have shorter cycles. I'm looking for others like myself who have long cycles and are ttc :) we are trying for our first baby x

Hi @xoJellyBean! I'm okay thank you, 6+5 today. I'm starting to get a bit nauseous now (mixed feelings about that lol) took another test the other day just to check it's getting darker.. Test line is darker than the control even on ic now(poas is an addiction I can't shake!) how are you doing?🤗

Just got home and tested now. I think its pretty much the same as yesterday??

@hollywhooo that's a tough one! Have you ordered more? Do you track ovulation any other way? I think when I got one that dark I literally did them every few hours and got a peak one. But if you didn't do one last night, in between the two high ones you could have already missed the peak.

@hollywhooo I ordered my onestep tests off amazon and they came in two days! I was on my last one too. Omg good you get your peak xx

@xoJellyBean I've not heard anything from anyone about appointments or scans yet.. A few people I've spoken too said they might not contact me until 8-10 weeks ☹️ the weather's lovely! The only downside is I live in a very pretty place near the water so LOADS of people have been coming down (and leaving their rubbish behind!) a house move, how exciting!! And stressful!! This will be when you get pregnant as your mind is focused on something else! Xx

Thanks both! I’m thinking even if i missed peak last night, we DTD anyway so at least thats covered. I could order more but then i’m thinking by the time they get here i’ll have missed my chance this month anyway 🤷🏼‍♀️
Will try convince him to DTD again tonight then hopefully we’ve covered all bases

Ahhh girls just went to get the last one from the pack and there were another 2 hiding behind the info leaflet! So i’ll do another one in the morning too!

@hollywhooo do you use the femometer app? You can get a reading of the lh so you'll know if it's peak etc.. That one could potentially be a peak one, or very close to it! Tell him to suck it up 😂

@Pol96 (it wont let me tag you) i just downloaded it now! It’s put yesterdays and todays both as peaks, yesterday 174 and today 152. What does that mean? 🤷🏼‍♀️

@hollywhooo that means you need to keep dtd! I reckon you'd have got your peak 200 last night as yesterday's was a bit higher than today's..
Did you take pictures using the app now or did you upload the fresh pictures you took at the time? Sometimes they get darker as they dry. Definitely test again tomorrow incase it got darker because it dried and its still building to your peak! I've attached my peak tests on femometer x

I think I had ovulation pain mid morning today - it felt like it did last time i definitely ovulated back in Feb - would that make sense if i got my peak last night?
I’m still trying to convince him to have an early night dont think its going to happen haha. Do you think last night would have been okay though??

@hollywhooo so I got my first peak and we dtd. The next day I still had a peak but had ovulation pains, didn't dtd again, only did it once in the fw the day before ovulation (first day of the peak) so sounds very similar to me!
Test again tomorrow and if it's lighter I'd assume your peak was last night/in between the two peaks you've had. Fingers crossed this is your month! X

To be honest i’m glad it just seems like somethings happening, i’d basically given up seen as its been sooo long since my last period so even if AF arrives then i’ll see that as a positive step! Xx
