Long Cycle girls TTC :)

Hi everyone who read this! My typical cycle is 34-37 days long but everyone I talk to seems to have shorter cycles. I'm looking for others like myself who have long cycles and are ttc :) we are trying for our first baby x

Me too!! It’s so lovely to be able to talk to people who understand how you feel. My friend is just about to give birth to her second baby - they were both literally conceived overnight. If only it was that easy for everyone! X

@hollywhooo same as me, my hubby's cousin is 39 weeks with her second, both conceived after dtd once. If only lol xx

Morning ladies. I’ve just done another one, i thought the line looked the darkest yet but app says 132 so lower. Think my peak was Monday night still? X

@hollywhooo it sounds like it was. Do you temp? Id keep testing anyway x

@xoJellyBean no i dont temp. I’ve just ordered some more tests but they wont arrive til next week! x

I think I missed my peak or the app isn't reading mine right... how long do you wait before you read the test? X

@xoJellyBean oh no! Did you dtd anyway?? My peaks came up before the control line but some of the higher ones I had to wait the 10 minutes x

@hollywhooo I'd go by the app unless it's very obviously darker than the control line or something. I'd definitely recommend temping so you know when you ovulated, can't help predict but can tell you when to stop using opks. Sainsburys sells cheap opks I believe if you need to get some more to keep checking x

@Pol96 @hollywhooo I've got a pain on my right side today but only a high reading this morning. I'm guessing it's an ovulation pain? X

@xoJellyBean sounds like you’re ovulating or at least about to! Yay! Sounds like you and @hollywhooo will be similar in dpo and testing 🤞🏼✨

@pol96 how is everything progressing? How are you feeling?

I’m just off to get my bloods done after months of waiting. I know I haven’t ovulated so it’ll come up as nothing, but my doc said they’d do other tests if that happened so am feeling positive. And terrified in case I’m infertile?!

@xoJellyBean could well be, I had pains on my right side a couple of days before and after I ovulated too I think

@Newbie0818 all OK I think, lines got nice and dark, feeling very tired and slightly nauseous. Still terrified something will go wrong but trying to keep positive as I have no reason to think anything has gone wrong. Hopefully the doctors will be able to shed some light on everything for you! I'm sure it'll be okay xx

@pol96 that all sounds really positive! I can imagine how you must be feeling, id be anxious until 12 weeks too. I’m sure it’s all going well though with those symptoms. Thanks x

@Newbie0818 thank you, the 12week scan can't come soon enough! Also gone of all food.. Nothing is appealing to me at all, not even chocolate which my oh finds very weird lol

@pol96 that is good! Chocolate aversion would break my heart though as I love it so much haha.
Blood test was ok, should get results in a week, though she said hormone ones can take longer. Wait and see I suppose!

Just did my last OPK - LH was 132 this morning and 122 this afternoon, 152 yesterday and 174 monday. Is that a normal sort of decrease? Last time I had a high reading in feb, i literally had 1 day of a dark line then it faded quickly rather than the 3 days of dark lines this time

@hollywhooo I think mine go down gradually too. Cant remember but will check this month :)

@xoJellyBean ooh test again later and see what it says! I did an opk earlier.. for the sake of poas (can't help myself and was bored lol) never seen one so dark!

My cervix is high and soft! And I have tonnes of watery cm! I did an opk and it was negative, shall I keep testing or just assumed I’ve missed a peak?
