Hi everyone who read this! My typical cycle is 34-37 days long but everyone I talk to seems to have shorter cycles. I'm looking for others like myself who have long cycles and are ttc :) we are trying for our first baby x

@Pol96 - no denying those tests congratulations that’s wonderful news x

Pol96 · 17/05/2020 10:37

Thank you everyone! How are you all doing? Baby dust to you all xxx

Runnergirl1 · 17/05/2020 10:49

@pol96 - currently cd12 for me nothing to report just waiting for a positive opk (hopefully I get one this month). DTD every other day to cover though. Fingers crossed this is the month x

Pol96 · 17/05/2020 10:56

@Runnergirl1 I really hope this is your month 🤞 xx

xoJellyBean · 17/05/2020 16:11

@Pol96 was this your first cycle ttc? Would you mind recalling what you did this month, I know it's not the same for everyone but it helps to read what others are doing & are successful 🤩 xx

@xoJellyBean so I started halfway through last cycle (in the hopes of catching it first time, we started early enough but didn't work) This was my first cycle properly tracking. I used opks every day, sometimes more than once if the line looked darker than the day before and I tracked bbt every day. After my period I did a couple of castor oil packs, 2 times on my liver (helps to remove excess hormones) and 1 time over my uterus (supposedly unblock and clears out uterus and fallopian tubes) you can do castor oil packs up to ovulation and then stop but obviously do some of your own research on them. I also took pregnacare conception since I started trying, some omega 3 (make sure there's not vitamin a in them) and used conceive plus. Weirdly I felt really ill arount ovulation and we only dtd once in the fw, the day before o.

Newbie0818 · 18/05/2020 07:37

@Pol96 yay congrats! It’ll start to feel real soon I’m sure ✨✨✨💜

Nothing to report here. Cd5 and getting ready to DTD every other day. This phase is the longest for me as I seem to ov very late, hoping the Pregnacare and seed cycling help! Bloods in 2 weeks time, so I guess I’ll find out more info. Started bbt charting 👍🏻
Rollercoaster emotions, yesterday I was feeling positive about it all and sure this was my month, today I feel like what’s the point. I’m sure some fertility yoga will help.
Hope everyone else has a good day x

Pol96 · 18/05/2020 08:43

@Newbie0818 thank you, I really hope so! I don't feel pregnant really.. Or at least what symptoms I have are so mild I keep decoding they're other reasons behind them!

🤞 For this month. I really do think the pregnacare is what did it for me. Typically I ordered another box last week ready to start my next cycle.. But I think im just going to continue taking them anyway until I've run out x

xoJellyBean · 18/05/2020 11:19

Is it the pregnacare conception tablets? I'm going to pick some up today hopefully as NHS are doing discount for staff in Holland & Barrett :)

Pol96 · 18/05/2020 11:20

Yeah it's the pregnacare conception ones (my oh also took the wellman version)

Newbie0818 · 18/05/2020 11:29

@pol96 my friend had no symptoms whatsoever, and kept having to take a test each week as she was worried she imagined it 😂 Symptoms are both a blessing and a pain I hear!

xoJellyBean · 18/05/2020 11:35

Thank you @Pol96 can't wait to get started again! Hopefully get the same result as you next month 😘

Pol96 · 18/05/2020 11:36

😂 Honestly @Newbie0818 I feel sick today but I think it's more nerves about sorting gp/midwife than actually being pregnant 😂 I'm not even registered here because we moved just before lockdown started and I didn't want to bother them!

Pol96 · 18/05/2020 11:37

Good luck @xoJellyBean! Keep me updated and I really hope this cycle is the one for you! X

Newbie0818 · 18/05/2020 13:39

@pol96 nausea is good! I’m sure it’s a mixture of things like you say. Get yourself registered girl 😂

Pol96 · 18/05/2020 13:44

😂 @Newbie0818 all registered and don't feel sick now.. (pretty sure that was just nerves) need to call surgery again tomorrow to sort out midwife referral. I may not feel sick but I cried when sorting out the registration.. 😂

Newbie0818 · 18/05/2020 14:12

@pol96 ah bless you. I get the sense you won’t believe it until you’ve see it on a screen, which will 100% happen 🥰

Pol96 · 18/05/2020 14:19

@Newbie0818 I think you're right 😂 I'll be shocked seeing it on the screen! X

Suki2020 · 18/05/2020 14:26

Hey ladies so I had a good temp shift this morning at long last. Do you think my temp looks ok? 8dpo now

Long Cycle girls TTC :)
Pol96 · 18/05/2020 14:27

@Suki2020 that looks really good!

Suki2020 · 18/05/2020 14:32

@pol96 I was worried it wasn’t rising quick enough. I had a good spike this morning. My temp has been different this month, much slower to rise but I guess at least is rising right?

Pol96 · 18/05/2020 14:35

@Suki2020 I think it's okay, let's hope it stays up! What CD are you on?

Suki2020 · 18/05/2020 14:40

CD58. This month is the first month I’ve tempt properly though at the same time of day, previously I’ve don’t it up to 45mins different. So this month I set my alarm for 7am everyday. Plus first month using OPK’s and conceive plus.

Pol96 · 18/05/2020 14:51

@Suki2020 that's good! My Temps been taken within about half an hour.. how longs your lp normally?

Suki2020 · 18/05/2020 14:53

@pol96 between 14-17days. What about yours?
