Hi everyone who read this! My typical cycle is 34-37 days long but everyone I talk to seems to have shorter cycles. I'm looking for others like myself who have long cycles and are ttc :) we are trying for our first baby x

@xoJellyBean it's a shame about af, but that's a decent length cycle, one step closer! The tests are 20miu, how sensitive are frers? X

xoJellyBean · 16/05/2020 11:36

@Pol96 they are around 6.3 :) xx

@xoJellyBean thank you, I don't know how the sensitivity works.. Is the lower the number the more sensitive or the higher the number more sensitive? X

MrsLully · 16/05/2020 11:52

Hi! 38 days here! Do you mind if I join you?

Pol96 · 16/05/2020 11:53

Welcome @MrsLully !

MrsLully · 16/05/2020 11:59

Thanks @Pol96! Will be starting cycle 2 when I stop bleeding. I very likely had a chemical pregnancy on our first try...
Trying for baby number 2, by the way. How are you guys doing?

Pol96 · 16/05/2020 12:35

@MrsLully sorry about your cp.. I'm terrified that's going to happen to me. I'm trying for baby number 1 and I started halfway through last cycle so this is the first full cycle with opks and temping. Good luck with your ttc journey! X

xoJellyBean · 16/05/2020 12:42

@Pol96 I think it's the lower number that's more sensitive. The one step ones I have are 10. How are you feeling other wise?

@MrsLully welcome :)!

@xoJellyBean that's promising then if the ones I'm using are less sensitive than the frers.. Hopefully I'll get a decent line on one. I'm thinking I'll use it Monday at 15dpo, if I get to Monday without af. I'm feeling okay. Every time I start cramping I'm like "it's over" but then a little while later I realise I'm not cramping anymore and af isn't here.. I wake up and feel nauseous and don't have a huge appetite atm either and I'm so tired in the day but struggle to get to sleep at night. I think it won't sink in until I see a good solid line after 15dpo. How are you? X

@MrsLully hi 👋🏼

@Pol96 that’s exciting, let’s hope the witch stays away!

Pol96 · 16/05/2020 16:28

@Newbie0818 I'm starting to get my hopes up 😅 I know I shouldn't yet.. Ttc is a roller-coaster! X

MrsLully · 16/05/2020 16:53

@Pol96 thanks. I didn't mean to scare anybody though, I'm sorry Blush

Pol96 · 16/05/2020 17:05

@MrsLully oh don't be silly! I've seen sooo many (too many) cps since joining MN. Plus I'm a BIG worrier about everything anyway. Even if I didn't join MN I'd have found out about it through my relentless googling of early pregnancy/symptom spotting 😂 xx

Newbie0818 · 16/05/2020 18:26

@Pol96 don’t worry we’ve all been there! It’s hard when our bodies give us so many possible signs x

Pol96 · 16/05/2020 19:50

Feeling more optimistic now..

@Pol96 congratulations hun, so happy for you, how you feeling?

Pol96 · 17/05/2020 08:05

@Suki2020 thank you! I'm terrified and excited .. 😅 I just want to see my lines get darker and the wait till the scan seems like forever, plus I might have to go back to work on the 1st (work in a nursery) and I don't want to tell them yet, but equally I don't think I want to go back now I'm pregnant and covid is still a major worry.. Sorry for the mini rant! Xx

Suki2020 · 17/05/2020 08:13

@pol96 I totally get what you mean. I would probably ring the doctors and ask them what they think you should do about work. Just keep positive.

Pol96 · 17/05/2020 08:16

@Suki2020 thanks, yeah, I'll call them tomorrow to tell them I'm pregnant and see what I need to do next and ask about work.. Honestly I don't think schools etc will be going back yet but I'll need a plan if they do x

Suki2020 · 17/05/2020 08:27

@pol96 yeah I agree with you I don’t think they will go back yet. Exciting times for you now x

fifi1989 · 17/05/2020 09:46

@Pol96 Congratulations!! They're all looking super positive! How exciting xxx
