Hi everyone who read this! My typical cycle is 34-37 days long but everyone I talk to seems to have shorter cycles. I'm looking for others like myself who have long cycles and are ttc :) we are trying for our first baby x

@pol96 I can definitely see shadows on both. Have you got a FRER? I reckon got would show up better x

Pol96 · 15/05/2020 13:49

@xoJellyBean @Newbie0818 my frers arrived today, and I have some cheap sainsburys ones too.. Don't want to break the frers out until there's a bit more on the cheaper ones though 😅 My dp can see the lines too (so at least I'm not seeing things lol)

Newbie0818 · 15/05/2020 14:01

@pol96 so exciting! 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼✨✨✨

Newbie0818 · 15/05/2020 14:01

Does anyone else do seed cycling by any chance?

xoJellyBean · 15/05/2020 15:37

Full blown af cramps here sooo I'll be expecting her any second lol

@Newbie0818 I've heard of it, my cousin does it and I know she texted me about it one time. There's a lady on Instagram I follow who gives seminars about it too

@xoJellyBean oh nice. I’ve just started and am a bit confused. Technically you’re meant to do day 1-14 with flax and pumpkin, and days 15-28 (post ov) with sunflower and sesame. I’m just unsure whether to keep going with the first two until ovulation and then switch, or to just follow the usual 28 day cycle. Any idea?

Newbie0818 · 15/05/2020 15:44

@xoJellyBean sorry about af cramps :(

Pol96 · 15/05/2020 16:07

@xoJellyBean I'm so sorry about af xx

xoJellyBean · 15/05/2020 16:13

@Newbie0818 I will have a look after work and get the name of the lady on Instagram for you :)

@Pol96 gutted but I just checked and I'm on cycle day 28?! So maybe it's not af

OP posts:
Pol96 · 15/05/2020 16:20

@xoJellyBean I really hope it's not! Tbh I though af was starting for me a couple of days ago cd27/28 now CD 30.. I was sure I was going to wake up the next morning with af there.. Instead I had a higher temp..

xoJellyBean · 15/05/2020 16:26

@Pol96 omg I hope it isn't af. I've never had a cycle this short!! I haven't done anything differently either. Oh the complications of being a woman lol x

OP posts:
Pol96 · 15/05/2020 16:31

@xoJellyBean fingers crossed for you! I've never had one this short either.. I'm also fairly sure last months lp was 9 days.. I'm on 12dpo now..
Sometimes I hate being a woman.. Especially when it comes to things like this.. X

xoJellyBean · 15/05/2020 17:58

@Pol96 hmmmm nope I'm spotting now! Looks like it's af, 28 day cycle!! What on earth 😂 really hope your next test is a blazing positive! X

OP posts:
Pol96 · 15/05/2020 18:15

@xoJellyBean that sucks, I'm sorry! Big hugs.. But 28 days.. That's 'average'! x
I'm genuinely terrified of tomorrow, atm my chart is "possibly triphasic from CD 27" according to ff.. I'm more scared of a temp drop than poas..

Newbie0818 · 15/05/2020 18:28

@xoJellyBean sorry about the spotting :/

@pol96 that is a lovely chart! Can’t wait to see what my first one looks like at the end of this cycle.

Pol96 · 15/05/2020 19:05

Thanks @Newbie0818 I'm hoping that it's a good sign.. I only charted the end of my cycle last month and it looked like a hill over 9 days. This month looks much better, not sure if it's the pregnacare, potentially pregnant, or something else..

Feel like af might be coming Sad

xoJellyBean · 15/05/2020 20:09

@Pol96 how so?! Is it cramping? I had some pink spotting then it went to brown and now I have nothing when I wipe or on a panty liner... cramps gone. My body is playing tricks. Your temp chart looks really cool. I will def have to try this x

OP posts:
Pol96 · 15/05/2020 20:46

@xoJellyBean sounds a bit like implantation! Good luck! X
I just feel really weird.. I don't trust the tests that I did and I keep getting a few cramps and like tight/pulling/pressure feelings across my uterus.. Why are pms and pregnancy symptoms so similar? Its stressing me out big time!

xoJellyBean · 15/05/2020 22:17

@Pol96 still no flow yet just more spotting. Although I just bawled my eyes out at Monty Dons show cause his dog died😭 emotions all over the place! Are you testing in the morning again?

OP posts:
Pol96 · 15/05/2020 22:30

@xoJellyBean same here with no flow.. All the weird cramps/pressure feelings seem to come and go.. I fully expecting to be out tomorrow and those test to have just been dodgy ones. I'll still test unless af is here though. Are you testing?

xoJellyBean · 15/05/2020 23:21

@Pol96 but you've had 3 tests with a line!! Defo something there :) I'm not testing tomorrow, I'm going to presume this is af! Fingers crossed for you tomorrow though x

OP posts:
Pol96 · 15/05/2020 23:39

@xoJellyBean I'm so scared it'll be negative or end up being a cp.. I think it'll depend on my temp if I test, if its still relatively high I'll test but if it gets too close to my cover line I won't. Has your spotting turned in to more now? If it is af at least your cycle was a good length! X

Pol96 · 16/05/2020 07:07

I think it's getting clearer.. Any thoughts? (top no edit, middle and bottom are the invert and contrast options on the femometer hcg recognition) still not believing it until its undeniably positive..

xoJellyBean · 16/05/2020 08:20

@Pol96 I think mine is af, I'm just not going to dwell on it and be thankful for a decent cycle :) there is def a line there. It's too much to just be faulty? How sensitive are those tests? Maybe try the frer tomorrow and see how it shows xx
