@Missgoldilocks I’d say timing wise it would be perfect form implantation x fingers crossed that’s what it is for you x I had cramps about 10DPO, but no spotting or bleeding for me x I really really do hope this is your BFP in the making x
How is everyone else? My OH was off yesterday and he went to the shops and bought me some alcohol free beer and sparkling wine so I don’t feel left out - we always have some drinks the weekend and chill watching a movie in the evening x I thought that was so cute of him 😍

Beau20 · 01/05/2020 11:39

@Missgoldilocks I'm not gonna lie, what @Katie1109 said... BUT on the flip side it could be pre AF spotting? However if you never normally have it then it's unlikely that...

@Katie1109 awww bless him that's sweet! And guess what, YOU MADE IT PAST 'the day' woohoo. How are you feeling?

Missgoldilocks · 01/05/2020 12:13

@LV1987 Ahhh sorry to hear that!! Hopefully your cycles sort themselves out soon!!

@katie1109 @Beau2020x I know the timing is giving me so much hope but I also know that it could be pre af spotting. I've had it before but I don't know if it's happened 2 days prior, moreso on the same day but hey our bodies fuck with us when we are Ttc so af will probably come.

Katie that's super sweet of him how lovely! X

Katie1109 · 01/05/2020 12:22

Thanks girls, I’m lucky to have him, it’s the little things he does x
@Beau20 I’m feeling just fine, still no other symptoms apart from boobs and nips being a bit sore x nothing else which worries me at times when I’m reading posts by women who are due similar to me and have a full array of symptoms etc x sometimes I don’t know whether severity of symptoms has a lot to do with mindset, if women believe they are meant to be vomiting etc their body is tricked into it x might be completely stupid theory, but makes me wonder at times x

Missgoldilocks · 01/05/2020 12:48

@katie1109 every pregnancy is different and everyone is different x I wasn't sick or had any symptoms with my son but another pregnancy I was literally ill for a month it was awful x

Beau20 · 01/05/2020 12:59

@Katie1109 exactly what @Missgoldilocks said. I was exactly the same.

Try and take the lack of symptoms as a gold thing and think to yourself oh aren't I the lucky sod that's having a lovely easy pregnancy no pain or sickness hehe. Best way to think about it xx

Fredthespider · 01/05/2020 13:04

Oh I remember worrying that I was feeling sick and that my boobs weren't sore. I regretted the not feeling sick when it hit! Apparently B6 is meant to help with the nausea and I've been taking a high strength B vitamin complex so I think that took the worst away. Boobs still aren't sore and haven't been at all (in either of the latest pregnancies) which is weird as it was a big one for me first time around.

@Missgoldilocks.... don't want to get your hopes up too much but that sounds exactly like the implantation bleeding I had with number 1. I have everything crossed for good news!

Boo2020 · 01/05/2020 13:27

@Beau20 rang the doctors this morning, just waiting on my telephone appointment with the nurse, they said hopefully today maybe tomorrow, hopefully, fingers crossed they give me something to kick start my AF...I will let you know how it goes 🤞 ...

Thank you @Missgoldilocks, I will have look into that 😊 x

Beau20 · 01/05/2020 14:38

@Boo2020 oh amazing news!! Let us know how you get on

Hayleylou89 · 01/05/2020 14:53

@renna sorry to hear about ur random bleed tbh i had a 6 day period which was rather annoying kept stopping and starting too! Guess r bodies are trying to adjust back... im feeling a bit low today think because its a new month and i should have been having my baby in a few weeks...plus im still ages away from my fertile week 😞 x

Hayleylou89 · 01/05/2020 14:54

Wrong thread sorrry

Boo2020 · 01/05/2020 15:41

@Beau20 well that was quick! I'm going to pick my pills up in half hour, they have prescribed me with a month of norethisterone to take 3 times a day, the nurse said this should shock my body into having a period 🤞...I've just read up that taking the medication like this doesn't protect me from not getting pregnant because apparently this pill is also perscribed for people that don't want there AF to arrive .. ie.. for holidays etc

Anyone else been on this tablet???

I will read up a bit more on it...thanks for the push @Beau20

Missgoldilocks · 01/05/2020 16:08

@boo2020 I have used it twice, the first time I did it made me get severe acne which I'm still dealing with now 2 years later and the second time it made my period late how I wanted it to but I had a terrible period when it did come lol that's my experience, I dudnt know it can kick start your period x

Beau20 · 01/05/2020 16:46

@Boo2020 wow that was quick!! I've never taken it sorry. I know one girl who has and she said it wasn't 'pleasant' when her period did arrive. She was given it to delay. If I was you, I'd go for it. There's not much to loose. 90+ days is a long long time to wait for AF to arrive.

I presume they've given you it to take to trick your body into thinking it's delaying a period and then when you stop, your period arrives?

Boo2020 · 01/05/2020 17:22

@Missgoldilocks oh good god 😔..do you think I should still do OPK while I'm taking it or just dont bother!!?..

@Beau20 yes that's exactly what it should do, my AF can arrive 2 or 3 days after the last pill but it can sometimes be a few days after! the nurse said if it doesn't arrive within the first 4 weeks after the last pill then I would have to make another appointment for bloods etc...

Missgoldilocks · 01/05/2020 21:04

@boo2020 I don't know, I guess doing the opks can't do any harm?? How long do you have to go on it for? The period may be bad once it starts but at least it would have started, but I think when you go on it for longer than a week you start getting issues (like my acne) so hopefully won't be bad for and everyone is different! I have heard really good things about dong quai for people who have pcos or just that their period isn't coming in general, if you look online it has onset a lot of women's periods and it's natural x

Missgoldilocks · 01/05/2020 21:05

So no more spotting at all not even when I touch my cervix since this morning. I'm going to out it down to just being a bit sensitive from the sex? We will see how I feel tomorrow since I'm due on Sunday

Beau20 · 01/05/2020 21:20

@Missgoldilocks I doubt it was pre-AF spotting surely? When I was mildly spotting once, as soon as I poked my cervix the next day it cause full in flow to happen. You must have had some rough Sex 😂😂😂 I'm hoping it's none of 'these' things, you know... 😉 (without saying too much and jinxing it)

Missgoldilocks · 01/05/2020 21:29

@Beau20 😂😂 honestly it weren't that rough!? Then again I was drunk what do I know lol but I don't normally have sex around now so maybe when my cervix is this low it does cause that to happen. Tomorrow will be a big sign if I get my usual pre af cramps

Wolfgirrl · 01/05/2020 21:43

Hi ladies hope you dont mind me popping onto your thread! I didnt want to start a new thread as I think the topic has been raked over, but I was just wondering how you are all feeling about ttc with coronavirus going on. Initially we put our ttc plans on hold, but now it looks like covid will be part of our lives for a while (if not forever), and a vaccine could take years, I dont know whether to go ahead anyway? If you could let me know your thinking I would be really grateful! Thanks x

Missgoldilocks · 02/05/2020 08:56

So temperature drop today to 36.2 down from 36.6 pretty sure that's the end of that

Danni2019 · 02/05/2020 09:39

@Wolfgirrl I for one am not taking a break in ttc I just think why we should keep our life on hold for something that could be around for a year or more. I've waited long enough for a baby and I don't think I could put it off for a year. Plus I'm getting on a bit now well I'm 34 this year and I don't think I should put it off in terms of my age.

Beau20 · 02/05/2020 09:41

@Missgoldilocks gah no!!! How many DPO are you?

@Wolfgirrl I think it totally depends. Most of the girls on this thread have been trying a LONG time so not prepared to stop for covid-19.

However I'd say if you are relatively young and/or have no known fertility issues then I would maybe wait a few months. But generally, I don't see any reason so not try for a baby. Depends on your circumstance

Danni2019 · 02/05/2020 09:48

@Missgoldilocks hope it was implantation bleeding you have experienced and I don't think you can always rely on temperatures can you? I haven't taken my temperatures as I think it would drive me mad but do get cervix obsessed during TWW but after Katie saying hers was still low perhaps I'll try not to be so obsessed this month.

Well I had my zoom chat last night with my friends and my friend who just announced her pregnancy. I survived and poured my heart out to my friends over wine. They were so understanding and made me feel a lot better about things. Sometimes it's good just to talk about how your feeling rather than bottle it up. 2 glasses of wine helped a lot too! Got my smiley face last night when I tested but my other Cheap OPK is not quite positive yet maybe later today. We DTD last night as wine definitely makes me up for it. Hopefully we can DTD over the next few days too and fingers crossed for this month being the one. Got doctors for my bloods next week and looking forward to finding out my levels as I feel once they are down I might have a chance. X

Missgoldilocks · 02/05/2020 10:21

@Danni2019 ahh I'm glad you feel better! We was talking to some of our friends and my partners close friend asked are we still trying or taking a break :/ didn't know people are watching so closely to be Frank!! Lol it was a bit awkward but my OH dealt with it by saying god knows when the time is right (I gotta start praying) lol

@Beau20 I'm 13dpo today, I did take my temperature after getting out of bed so that could have affected it but I'm not going to rely on anything here 😅 actually for someone who's probably going to start their period today or tomorrow I feel quite happy so I'm hoping that feeling stays with me tomorrow too! Fingers crossed, even if af does come I'd rather feel okay than sad or angry.
