I've had a hellish day...Fridays are always mental in a pharmacy but add in Friday the 13th, coronavirus and a full moon and it was crazy!

Hi ladies sorry I've been trying to stay away and not think about TTC was booked in for my Laparoscopy Monday and they rang me and cancelled yesterday over the stupid corona virus!! When I got my bloods done the start of this cycle they told me I wasn't immune to rubella and I needed to get a booster but couldn't try for a month if I got it done! Having a weird cycle didn't do OPKs but haven't had a longer cycle than 30 days and today I'm on day 33 and still no sign. Did a cb digital yesterday and not pregnant came up 🙈 opened it up I know I shouldn't have but I did and there was 3 lines like there's supposed to be but they were still a bit faint! Now I'm freaking out because I had the rubella injection done on Tuesday 🙈

@Ange211 I feel you! I work for the NHS. We're not patient facing at my base but it's absolute madness. Patients panicking and clinics being cancelled left right and centre.
I had to go to Asda first thing this morning as I had no toilet roll or nappies for DS in my tesco delivery last night 😫 THANKFULLY Asda did actually have what I needed! The shop was heaving though. Haven't dared tell DS yet we probably can't see Mickey Mouse in April now as Disney has closed too!! 😭

@BFP2020 firstly.... take a breath! I know you've said you didn't do OPKs but do you have any kind of idea when you ovulated? Could it still be too early maybe? How long are your cycles normally?

@Mumofboys17 on my way to buy a FRER 🙈 I am charting and temp spiked on CD 17 and 18 then dropped for 2 days and went back up and has been up ever since my LP is normally 12 days and haven't had a cycle over 30 days in 14 months 🙈

I'm CD25 today 😬 I've had 30 day cycles last 2 cycles but it's not unknown for me to go 40 days on occasion 🙄. I have a feeling my body tried to ovulate earlier this week as had a little bit of ewcm and a dark OPK, but then nothing. I had cramps on and off yesterday and about an hour ago had shit loads of ewcm and got my static smiley 🤷🏼‍♀️ I mean it's later than I'd have liked but I'll take it!! Xx

@Mumofboys17 no FRERS 🙈 got one that said 4 days before period and of course it a BFN 🙈

@BFP2020 sorry to hear that. It’s always tough getting BFNs :( I’ve had a month like hay last month where not sure I even ovulated and it went on and on. Better this month so I guess it can just happen randomly xx

@BFP2020 sorry to hear you've had a bfn. I've tested 4 times this week and always bfn. I'm actually proud of myself that I resisted this morning!! Still no bleeding which I guess is good. Off on holiday on Monday (in the UK) so think I'll test before we go and then not take any tests with me so I physically won't be able to!

@Fredthespider @Missgoldilocks I've already told DH we're DTD when DS has his nap after lunch. He's like 'yeah alright whatever' hahahaha mate thinks I'm joking 🙃😂

@Mumofboys17 wooohoooo finally!! I had a slight temp rise this morning, didn't DTD last night either so I'm out this month for sure. I've decided I am genuinely going to take a break from TTC. I'm at the point where I'm starting to hate sex, I'm not sleeping, I'm paranoid about temping OPKs vitamins etc etc. Last night I was so so stressed out I even thought about leaving OH for absolutely NO REASON! (Woke up this morning and was like wtf) I really really can't be arsed with it anymore, it's not enjoyable or exciting anymore and it's all I think about. I'm not even focusing on my work anymore and I'm falling behind with important things...

I've put my life on hold and made it all about having a baby. So much so I convinced myself if we don't have a baby we might as well just split up. That's ridiculous. We've had 6 verryyyyy happy years no baby. I just need to chill out and forget about it for a while. My body clearly isn't ready, something is saying it's a no right now so I just need to accept it

@Beau20 TTC is so incredibly stressful isn't it. I managed to catch first month of trying with number 1, and then for number 2 we've been trying since June. It's really depressing to think that I'd have been due around now if we'd have caught then. IIRC you've been trying around the same length of time? Are you having tests done at the moment?

@Beau20 sometimes taking a break can be good! Although I don't ever agree with 'just accepting it'. Because it WILL happen for you! If it's making you that stressed out though you're probs right having a little break away from it all. Sometimes helps you remember why you wanted to have a baby with your OH in the first place, which sounds soooo cringe like that haha but it's true!!

It's so bloody difficult. We're all still here for you though! ❤️

@Fredthespider I have my day 21 bloods on Monday which will be pointless as I only ovulated yesterday/today and then the 2-4 day bloods after that. I'm only on cycle 8 so it's not even that long but it feels like a lifetime. I know the feeling, we thought we'd fall straight away as we did previous.

@mumofboys17 im sure it will happen (although who knows) and I'm trying not to convince myself that it won't. But I need it to stop consuming my life. It will end up ruining out relationship and I don't want that. I've always been an obsesser and impatient. When I want something I want it perfect like yesterday so need to get that out my system! It will be hard to ignore the usual monthly symptoms but no way am I tracking anything and I'm ditching every single vitamin except folic acid.

@Mumofboys17 but I am going to temp until the end of the month just out of curiosity 😂😂😂

@Beau20 Whilst you only just ovulated that should be good in a sense as it will show that your cycle isn't quite right. TBH I find it more frustrating when I get 'normal' blood results as it often means doctors are a little more dismissive and send you away, at least this way they should look into it a bit more?

@Fredthespider I hope so... although she said they deffo wouldn't even look into low progesterone for another 5 months where as dodgy FSH or TSH levels she'd refer me to the fertility clinic early

@BFP2020 welcome back. I am sorry about you laproscopy. I was sure it was going to happen to me to. When you have a date in mind you just want it done. Hope you get another date soon. Expect to be more sore than you expect. Day on day I can see big improvements but still sore at incisions and sore to cough.. which you need to do after the tube down your throat.
@Beau20 sorry to feel you are feeling like that. It takes a huge toll on relationships so do what is best for that first and foremost. No relationship no baby.

Morning all! So glad I found you 😁

Just catching up on a couple of days of threads. Went out for day time cocktails yesterday to celebrate my birthday and it was lovely... But eerily quiet for a Saturday.

My step children are coming to stay for the Easter hols soon, and I'm concerned that if a quarantine is enforced, it will effect that. The eldest is very facts and numbers oriented and was telling us on our video call the other day how many people had died in the UK so matter of factly that it was quite scary. But what can you do when the kids question it besides be calm.

Honestly, I really really would not worry about coronavirus and I'd just tell them that. If you look up on the numbers that catch and die standard flu each year that puts it into perspective 61,000 died in the 2018-19 season.

The only time I'd be concerned about it was if I had an underlying health issue or was pregnant. China have already pretty much managed to contain it now, their new case figures are dropping massively.
